Staff at Joan River's Endoscopy Clinic Receives Death Threats

People working at a clinic which treated Joan Rivers before she passed away reportedly have been receiving death threats from the comedian's fans. According to a new report by TMZ, the Yorkville Endoscopy clinic in New York City has been receiving threats since news emerged that the comedian stopped breathing during a procedure.

Sources at the clinic say some people sent threats which include, "If Joan dies, so will you," and, "I hope you people die, you killed an icon." Following the incident, the clinic reportedly has improved their security and they sent the employees home early on some days.

Supergirl is coming to small screen. Warner Bros. Television has hired Greg Berlanti and Ali Adler to adapt the DC Comics superhero for a potential TV series.

Berlanti has been DC's go-to guy for TV adaptations. He has overlooked The CW's "Arrow" and the upcoming "The Flash" with Andrew Kreisberg and Marc Guggenheim. Adler previously worked with Berlanti on ABC's superhero dramedy "No Ordinary Family".

Julia Roberts Joins Remake of Oscar Winner 'The Secret in Their Eyes'

Julia Roberts is set to join "The Secret in Their Eyes" which is adapted from the Oscar-winning 2009 Argentinian thriller. The project became an instant hot title at Toronto Film Festival after IM Global shopped it around at the festival.

Roberts is to play the female lead but there is a catch. In the original film, there are two male leads and one female lead. According to The Wrap, Roberts expressed an interest in playing a part in the film. Director Billy Ray then re-conceived the characters and gender-swapped one of the roles that he then wrote specifically for Roberts.

Scarlett Johansson, 29, can now officially add mother to her resume. The Black Widow depicter in Marvel Cinematic Universe has given birth to a baby girl. "Mother and daughter are doing well," a rep said to the Associated Press.

The bundle of joy is named Rose. It's Scarlett's first child with fiance Romain Dauriac. No other details are available, but the representative said the new parents, as avid supporters of No Kids Policy in Hollywood, were seeking privacy.

It's a girl for Alyssa Milano and husband David Bugliari. The "Mistresses" star delivered a baby girl on Thursday, August 4. "Mommy and baby are doing wonderfully," a representative for the actress said in a statement.

The bundle of joy named Elizabella Dylan Bugliari weighed in at 7 pounds, 7 ounces, and measures 19.5 inches long. It's the second child for the couple. The baby girl joins big brother Milo Thomas who just turned 3 in August.

Joan Rivers Dies at 81, Funeral Is Planned for Sunday

Joan Rivers passed away Thursday afternoon, September 4 in a New York hospital. The comedienne was 81. She is survived by her daughter Melissa Rivers and grandson Cooper who had stayed by her side during her hospitalization. Funeral will take place at Temple Emanu-El in Manhattan on Sunday.

"It is with great sadness that I announce the death of my mother, Joan Rivers," Melissa said. "She passed peacefully at 1:17pm surrounded by family and close friends. My son and I would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff of Mount Sinai Hospital for the amazing care they provided by mother."
