Blake Shelton Debuts First 'Bringing Back the Sunshine' Single 'Neon Light'

After announcing "Bringing Back the Sunshine" a few weeks ago, Blake Shelton now unveils the new album's first single. Titled "Neon Light", the laid-back summery track features the country superstar singing about trying to move on with his life after breaking up with his girl.

"I take a shot of I don't care what you're doing now/ Chase that one with a cold screw you/ When that's done I just might wash it down with a big pitcher of someone new," he sings before adding in the chorus, "There's a neon light at the end of the tunnel/ It ain't all that bright, but even though it's subtle/ It's got me feeling alright, gonna make it a double/ There's a neon light at the end of the tunnel."

"The Tale of Princess Kaguya" gets a teaser trailer which sees the titular princess fleeing. The animated adaptation of Japanese folk story "The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter" comes from Studio Ghibli co-founded by Japan maestros Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata.

The folklore centers on a tiny girl found inside a shining stalk of bamboo. She grows into an exquisite young lady, raised by an old bamboo cutter and his wife. From the countryside to the grand capital city, even unseen she enthralls all who encounter her, including five noble suitors. Ultimately, however, she must face her secret fate.

PlayStation's 'Powers' Finds Its Christian Walker and Retro Girl

PlayStation Network's adaptation of Image/Icon comic's "Powers" has cast its two key roles. Sharlto Copley ("District 9") and Michelle Forbes ("The Killing") are tapped to play Christian Walker and Retro Girl respectively.

The project from Sony Pictures Television centers on Walker and Deena Pilgrim (Susan Heyward), who investigate cases involving people with superhuman abilities. Walker is described as "dapper and charismatic" with "the dissolute air of a faded rock star and the body of a battered heavyweight. Once possessed of super-powers, Walker lost his powers in a battle with a super-human mass killer. A faded hero, he's now a detective who works with law enforcement, using his singular expertise to investigate crimes in the Powers community."

Ataui Deng was finally found at a local hospital in New York on Monday night, August 18, police reported. The Sudanese model was last seen around midnight on August 6 outside XVI Lounge at 48th Street and Eighth Avenue. Last Saturday, her boyfriend reported her missing to the police.

Ataui's friend, Ajax Deng, took to Instagram earlier Monday to share a picture of Ataui, captioning it with, "MISSING: My friend Ataui Deng has been missing for 10 days. Don Pardo, best known as the voice of "Saturday Night Live", has died at 96 years old. The veteran television and radio announcer's daughter Paula confirmed the sad news to CBS Radio on Monday, August 18. Other info including the cause of death and funeral plan is not available yet.

Pardo introduced the "SNL" line-up every week since the first episode in 1975. He only missed one season of the show, the seventh installment in 1981-1982. He officially retired from NBC in 2004, but continued to provide the introductions for the sketch series through last season, pre-recording them from his home in Arizona.

Gloria Estefan Bio-Musical 'On Your Feet!' Coming to Broadway in 2015

Gloria Estefan's rise to stardom is getting a Broadway treatment. A musical titled "On Your Feet!" will depict the zero-to-hero story of the seven-time Grammy winner and her longtime husband Emilio, who also earned multiple Grammys, at least 19. In addition to featuring her classic hits like "Conga", "1-2-3", and "Rhythm Is Gonna Get You", it is expected to include new songs the couple specifically writes for the show.

The bio-musical will get a trial at Chicago's Oriental Theatre from June 2-July 5, 2015 before heading to the Great White Way at the Marquis Theatre. Previews will begin October 5, 2015 with an opening night set for the following month. Tony winner Jerry Mitchell ("Kinky Boots") is set to direct with a book by Alexander Dinelaris ("Still Life") and choreography by Sergio Trujillo ("Jersey Boys").

FOX isn't ready to make a long-term commitment with Tina Fey. The network has passed on "Cabot College" which was set to be executive produced by Fey, "30 Rock" co-executive producer Matt Hubbard and another co-showrunner Robert Carlock.

The collegiate comedy was supposed to revolve around a women's college that has just opened its doors to men for the first time. It landed on FOX in August last year with a six-episode series commitment, but the network never gave a greenlight for the production after the pilot was shot last spring.

Jackie Chan's son has been arrested in Beijing in connection with possible drug use. Various reports by local media say that Jacyee Chan, 31, and Taiwanese movie star Kai Ko, 23, were detained on illegal drug-related offenses last week.

On Monday, August 18, police announced that the two actors, which they identified as Chan and Ko without giving the full name, tested positive for marijuana and confessed to using the drug. Police found 100 grams of marijuana at Jacyee's home and he's also charged for "providing a shelter for others to use drug."
