'House of Cards' Crew Forced to Gather in One Room Following Tornado Warning in MD

A tornado warning was issued for parts of Maryland on Monday, July 14 and it apparently affected the production of "House of Cards". Beau Willimon shared on Twitter a photo of the entire cast and crew of the show packing the green-screen room.

"Tornado warning in MD. Entire cast & crew of @HouseofCards gathered in green-screen room for safety. Wish us luck!" Willimon captioned the photo. The tornado warning has now expired. However, some parts of the state are now still under severe thunderstorm warnings.

Ryan Seacrest and Shayna Taylor were spotted together at LAX airport last weekend. Shayna confirmed her relationship with Ryan after being interviewed by a paparazzo. The paparazzo asked her on her feeling to have a relationship with Ryan. Shayna then replied, "It feels great."

According to TMZ, the couple had spent two weeks for vacation in Europe before going back to L.A. In a video obtained by the site, Ryan was seen walking ahead of Shayna. Shayna was following the 39-year-old TV host to their waiting car when a paparazzo interviewed her.

Justin Moore Welcomes Third Daughter

Justin Moore and his wife, Kate, welcomed their third baby daughter together on Monday, June 14, a representative for the country crooner told PEOPLE. The baby weighed in at 6 lbs., 13 oz. and is 19.25 inches long.

"We're very excited to welcome Rebecca Klein Moore into the world. Both Mom and Klein are healthy," the Moore family said in a statement. The baby was named after her paternal great grandmother, but she will go by her middle name.

Sandra Bullock Came Face to Face With Home Intruder Outside Her Bedroom

New info about Sandra Bullock's home break-in in June has emerged. According to a search warrant which was used to raid the alleged stalker's home for guns, the Oscar-winning actress and the home intruder, Joshua Corbett, came face-to-face outside her room.

According to the document obtained by TMZ, the "Gravity" actress heard a loud banging sound at about 1 A.M. She then went out to check the house and saw Corbett standing in the hall wearing dark clothing. Bullock got scared and ran back into her room, locked the door and called 911.

Following the cliffhanger in the season 2 finale that left the fate of all members of Firehouse 51, except for Chief Boden (Eamonn Walker), up in the air, showrunner Matt Olmstead says one familiar face won't return to the show in the upcoming season 3.

"Not everybody makes it out of that building," he says of a huge explosion that went off inside a warehouse when the team was in the middle of a search and rescue, "and then certainly what people deal with in terms of the loss of whomever that character is, that's definitely what we're dealing with in the first episode and beyond."

Billy Joel is mourning the death of his mother Rosalind Nyman Joel. The "Piano Man" hitmaker announced the sad news on his website on Monday, July 14, saying that his mother passed away the previous day at the age of 92.

Rosalind was born on Feb. 15, 1922 in Brooklyn. She met her husband Howard Joel in 1942. After serving at the U.S. Army in the World War II, Howard and Rosalind got married in 1946. The pair got divorced in 1957 and she did clerical work to support her family. Billy's song "Rosalinda's Eyes", featured in his 1978 album "52nd Street", is a tribute to his mother.

The political tensions in Israel have affected the production of at least two American TV series. USA Network's new series "Dig" has extended its scheduled hiatus while assessing the situation before deciding whether they can continue the filming in Jerusalem. The show has been on a scheduled hiatus for the past week and now the break will continue for another week.

"This caught us off-guard and we are assessing," executive producer Gideon Raff said of the situation at TCA summer press tour in Beverly Hills on Monday, July 14. He added that they're "looking at all options." He said, "Hopefully everything will calm down and we'll go back to what we planned and if not, we'll sort it out," explaining that "Jerusalem is a key element in our show. We chose to shoot there because of its history."

Octomom Nadya Suleman Pleads No Contest to Welfare Fraud

Nadya Suleman, a woman who is nicknamed Octomom after giving birth to eight children in 2009, has avoided jail sentence in a welfare fraud case. During her appearance in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Monday, July 14, Suleman pleaded no contest to one count of misdemeanor welfare fraud, NY Daily News reports.

The 39-year-old woman then was sentenced to two years of probation. She was also ordered to pay a fine and complete 200 hours of community service. She originally was charged with four felonies and might spend up to five years if convicted of the original charges.

"The Vampire Diaries" has cast another star for the upcoming season. Colin Ferguson has been added to the cast in the sixth season of The CW's series. He will play a villain named Tripp, who is described as the head of a community militia who will do anything to protect his town, THR reports. Tripp, who is also described as a handsome, strong and disciplined man, will make his first appearance in the premiere episode.

The show's executive producer Julie Plec shared the news in some Twitter posts on Monday, July 14. "Hmmm.... Seem to have 'tripped' my way into a new role... Mystic Falls, hunh? Classic! Eight Grade Heavy Metal Band Lands Million-Dollar Record Deal With Sony

A heavy metal band called Unlocking the Truth, which is made up of three eight graders from Brooklyn, has signed a record deal with Sony. The record label has agreed to produce the group's first two albums and they could produce four more if the trio does well commercially. Should Sony make all the six albums, the boys could earn up to $1.7 million.

Unlocking the Truth is comprised of guitarist Malcolm Brickhouse (13), bassist Alec Atkins (13) and drummer Jarad Dawkins (12). They shot to Internet fame after a video showing them busking around Times Square went viral. Since then, the band has opened for Guns N' Roses and played Coachella.

Tupac Shakur Musical to Close Early Due to 'Financial Burdens'

A stage production inspired by Tupac Shakur's songs has to end its Broadway run at the Palace Theater early this coming Sunday, July 20 after around 55 performances. Titled after one of the rapper's songs, "Holler If Ya Hear Me", the hip-hop musical was shut down due to lukewarm response from audience.

"It saddens me that due to the financial burdens of Broadway, I was unable to sustain this production longer in order to give it time to bloom on Broadway," a representative said. "Tupac's urgent socially important insights and the audiences' nightly rousing standing ovations deserve to be experienced by the world."

For not upholding the standards, Lamar Odom has been kicked out of New York Knicks. The troubled ex-husband of Khloe Kardashian failed to meet the team's necessary requirements.

"Unfortunately, Lamar was unable to uphold the standards to return as an NBA player," Knicks president Phil Jackson said in a statement on Friday, July 11. "We found it necessary to free up the roster spot."

Paramount in Talks to Distribute Martin Scorsese's Passion Project 'Silence'

Paramount Pictures is looking forward to entering the 2015 Oscar season through Martin Scorsese's "Silence". The studio is in talks to acquire the distribution rights to the film which is Scorsese's passion project for more than a decade.

"Silence" is based on Shusako Endo's novel that Scorsese reportedly read two decades ago. Archbishop Paul Moore sent it to him after a screening of the director's "The Last Temptation of Christ", Variety reported.

Weird Al Yankovic Recreates Pharrell's 'Happy' in 'Tacky' Music Video

Weird Al Yankovic has released the music video of "Tacky", one of the songs set to be included in his upcoming album "Mandatory Fun". Arriving on Monday, July 14, the clip finds the singer/parodist recreating Pharrell Williams' wildly popular hit "Happy" and its accompanying visuals.

"Tacky" was shot at the Palace Theatre in downtown Los Angeles. Weird Al appears at the beginning of the video, sporting a multi-colored tacky outfit before later talking about tacky things like Instagramming pictures of someone's every meal, live-tweeting a funeral and taking selfies with the deceased, using Comic Sans font on a resume and owning a YOLO license plate.

Conor Oberst Rape Accuser Says She Lied About the Story

A woman who previously claimed that Conor Oberst had raped her has recanted her story, admitting that she lied about it. In a statement released on Monday, July 14, the woman named Joan Elizabeth Harris a.k.a. Joanie Faircloth said that she created the story to gain attention.

"The statements I made and repeated online and elsewhere over the past six months accusing Conor Oberst of raping me are 100% false. I made up those lies about him to get attention while I was going through a difficult period in my life and trying to cope with my son's illness," read the statement obtained by Pitchfork.

'American Psycho' Coming to Off Broadway With All-New Cast

A stage version of "American Psycho" is coming to Off Broadway. The musical adaptation of Bret Easton Ellis' 1991 novel of the same name had its premiere in London last year and will have a Stateside run at the Second Stage Theater in spring 2015.

Executives at the theater announced on Monday, July 14 that the musical would begin its previews in February for a March opening. The London production had "Doctor Who" star Matt Smith as the lead but the State production will boast an all-new American cast who will be announced later.

Brooks Wheelan Says He's Fired From 'Saturday Night Live'

Brooks Wheelan is fired from "Saturday Night Live" after only one season. He broke the news himself on Twitter, writing on Monday, July 14, "Had a blast and loved every second of it. I'm totally honored to be able to make this next joke... FIRED FROM NEW YORK IT'S SATURDAY NIGHT!"

Sources have confirmed that Wheelan is indeed not returning for the upcoming 40th season of the sketch series and added that casting changes are normal. "SNL" and NBC have not released any statement regarding this report as casting decisions are expected to be announced in August.
