Lily Allen Reveals Her Daughter Was Diagnosed With Laryngomalacia

Lily Allen revealed that she was scared after knowing her eldest daughter was diagnosed with a life-threatening illness called laryngomalacia when she was 12 months old. Laryngomalacia is a condition which obstructed the airway because the soft, immature cartilage of the upper larynx collapses inward during inhalation.

The British recording artist told BBC Radio 4'S Desert Island Discs about her daughter's illness, stating, "It's [the illness is] basically a problem with the throat. She was working so hard to breathe, to just exist really, and she wasn't really gaining any weight at all. Because all of the food she was taking on, she was just expending the energy on this breathing process."

Columbus Short Sued by Man He Allegedly Hit in Brawl

Actor Columbus Short, who was involved in a physical fight in March, is sued by the man he allegedly hit. As reported by TMZ, the man named Felton Hyche III said in his suit that the former "Scandal" actor hit him, breaking his cheek and orbital bones.

The man additionally said that he was embarrassed following the incident. He called out the site for posting a photo of his "lifeless and beaten face," although he got "popular." Hyche shared that now he had to "endure ridicule from strangers as the man who was knocked out by Columbus Short."

The actor wore a simple brown top and dark blue shorts in the snap. He was all-smiles as he held a hat in his hand. "Rawwwwwwk! Ulrich, Gallagher, Cooper!" the caption read. His girlfriend, who was unable to go to the festival, uploaded a photo of her and others from a previous visit. She wrote on Instagram, "#GLASTONBURY reminiscing. The LGBT activist, who probably is mostly known for playing Hikaru Sulu in "Star Trek", was the Celebrity Grand Marshal at the parade which took place along Fourth Avenue and started at 11 A.M.

"Well 40 years ago, what seemed unimaginable, today is reality," said the actor, as reported by NWCN. He was joined by his husband at the parade. "We look forward to the day - I think this decade - when we will indeed have the United States of America." Macklemore, who made a surprise appearance, received loud cheers from fans.

Michael Egan Withdraws Sex Abuse Lawsuit Against Gary Goddard

A man named Michael Egan, who sued Broadway producer Gary Goddard for sex abuse, withdrew the case on Saturday, June 28. Egan, who claimed that Goddard abused him in 1999 when he was 16 in Hawaii, dismissed the case just a few days after he withdrew a similar case against TV exec Garth Ancier. Both cases were dismissed without prejudice which means he may re-file them in the future.

In April, Egan filed lawsuits against "X-Men: Days of Future Past" director Bryan Singer, David Neuman, Goddard and Ancier, claiming that they abused him when he was a minor. All of them denied the accusation.
