Kaley Cuoco Shows Off New Pixie Haircut

Kaley Cuoco has got herself a new haircut inspired by Peter Pan. The star of "The Big Bang Theory" shared a picture of her new pixie do on Instagram Saturday, May 31, captioning it with, "Thank you @clsymonds for bringing out my inner Peter Pan :) #byronbeverlyhills #justcutitoff." It was Christine Symonds, a hairstylist at Bryon Williams salon, Beverly Hills, who styled her new pixie haircut.

Kaley headed to Hollywood Bowl to watch Bruno Mars's concert with her husband Ryan Sweeting and some friends after she showed off her pixie haircut. She and the group were enjoying the night outing as she posted some photos on Instagram. "Best night at the bowl!! #pharrell #brunomars #happy @ryansweething @sfishe @simpsonhoneysuckle," she captioned the pictures.

Chris Brown Released From Jail

Chris Brown has been released from jail. TMZ broke the news and reported that the troubled singer was freed on early Monday morning, June 2 after serving 108 days of his 131-day sentence.

The "Loyal" hitmaker had been incarcerated since March 14. He was thrown back into jail after a judge ruled that he violated his probation, which stemmed from his 2009 assault conviction for attacking his then-girlfriend Rihanna.

Linkin Park dropped a new song and its accompanying lyric video on Sunday, June 1. The song titled "Wastelands" comes as the latest offering from the band's new album, following up previously released tracks "Until It's Gone" and Rakim-featured "Guilty All the Same".

"The Hunting Party" will mark Linkin Park's sixth studio effort. It's set for release on June 17. "It needed to be visceral," rapper Mike Shinoda told Rolling Stone of his band's forthcoming project in an interview in April.

Liam Payne has tweeted an apology after a weed smoking video involving his bandmates Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik emerged online a few days ago. The One Direction member took to Twitter over the weekend, saying that people did "stupid things" around their age.

"I love my boys and maybe things have gone a little sideways I apologize for that. We are only in our 20's we all do stupid things at this age," Payne said in a post. James Cameron Talks 'Avatar' Sequels and 'Terminator 2' Going 3D

James Cameron made an appearance at LA Times' Hero Complex Film Festival on Saturday, May 31 to talk about the "Avatar" sequels and the possibility of "Terminator" getting a 3D treatment. Of the sequels, the director recounted how the three films were written simultaneously and broken out in the style of a TV series.

Cameron said he hired Josh Friedman, Rick Jaffa, Amanda Silver, and Shane Salerno as writers for the three upcoming "Avatar" films. He first wrote the 1,500 pages of notes to be used by the writers as the basis of the scripts so that the writing team felt like they were adapting "a novel or series of novels."

British singer Ed Sheeran released his Pharrell Williams-produced hit "Sing" in his home country over the weekend. Fans who purchase the single on iTunes U.K. will now get an additional track called "Friends".

The bonus song is a beautiful guitar-driven ballad in which the 23-year-old redhead talks about his not-so-platonic friendship. "Friends just sleep in another bed/ And friends don't treat me like you do/ Well I know that there's a limit to everything/ But my friends won't love me like you," he sings.

'The Simpsons' Mural to Be Painted in Oregon

"The Simpsons" will be immortalized with a mural. An artwork based on the long-running animated series will be painted on the side of the Emerald Art Center in Springfield, Oregon to commemorate the show's ties to the real town.

A print artist who works for 20th Century Fox Television is working on an original artwork on which the mural will be based. Series creator Matt Groening will have input on the mural, telling The Register-Guard that he planned "to sneak up in the middle of the night and sign the mural." He jokingly added, "I hope I don't get arrested."

Jon Bon Jovi's Wife Rushed to Hospital After Accidentally Cutting Her Palm

Dorothea Hurley had to seek treatment over the weekend when she had an accident in the kitchen. According to New York Daily News, Jon Bon Jovi's wife was cutting vegetables at their penthouse on Mercer Street in SoHo on Saturday, May 31 at around 11.30 A.M. when she accidentally cut her left palm.

Her husband of 25 years was at home when she got hurt. Hurley was taken to Beth Israel Medical Center with a slice wound which was "bleeding heavily." She was released from hospital a few hours later after receiving stitches.

After leaving Universal Music Group's Interscope Records and Eminem's imprint Shady/Aftermath earlier this year, he showed that being independent allowed him to do many different things with his music and drop his new projects anytime he wanted.

The arrival of a track titled "The Funeral" became one of the biggest moments in 50's career. Released in conjunction with his interview with Forbes back in February, the song is the first he released as an independent artist. "Me just being able to release music that I feel is right for right now, 'This is dope, put this out,' is really cool. It changes the experience for me, man," he said in a recent interview with Huffington Post.

Cranston won the Outstanding Actor in a Play category through his role as Lyndon B. Johnson in "All the Way". Harris, meanwhile, had to share his prize of Outstanding Actor in a Musical with Jefferson Mays from "A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder".

Bryan Singer Files Motion for Summary Judgment in Sex Abuse Case

Bryan Singer, who is sued by a man named Michael Egan for allegedly abusing him as a minor, has filed a summary judgment in the sex abuse lawsuit. The "X Men: Days of Future Past" director's legal team entered the motion on Thursday, May 29.

As reported by The Wrap, Singer's motion mentioned that Egan's camp failed to provide "specific facts showing that there is a genuine issue for trial" which were "undisputed." Singer also asked the judge to award him all fees and costs in connection to Egan's filing. On Friday, it was decided that a hearing for the motion would take place on August 4 at 9 A.M.

Justin Bieber has issued a statement after a years-old video of him making an offensive joke involving N-word emerged online. On Sunday, June 1, Bieber's camp issued a statement in which the singer apologized for his words. "As a young man, I didn't understand the power of certain words and how they can hurt. I thought it was OK to repeat hurtful words and jokes, but didn't realize at the time that it wasn't funny and that in fact my actions were continuing the ignorance," he said.

"Thanks to friends and family I learned from my mistakes and grew up and apologized for those wrongs. Now that these mistakes from the past have become public I need to apologize again to all of those who I have offended," he added. Last month, it was revealed that Imagine Dragons recorded a new song titled "Battle Cry" for the soundtrack of "Transformers: Age of Extinction". After being previewed in some of the movie's teaser clips, the full version of the song made its way out online on Sunday, June 1.

For the track, Imagine Dragons worked with the film's composer Steve Jablonsky and Hans Zimmer who assisted in the process. According to director Michael Bay, the song will be used in "critical points in the film."

Joan Lorring, who was nominated for an Oscar for her role in "The Corn is Green" where she starred opposite Bette Davis, died on Friday, 30 May at age 88. She died at suburb of Sleepy Hollow, New York City.

Lorring was born Mary Magdalene Ellis in Hong Kong in 1926 and moved to California, United States in 1939 to avoid the Japanese invasion. In California, she started to work in a radio, before appearing on stage and screen.

'Brady Bunch' Actress Ann B. Davis Dies at 88

Actress Ann B. Davis, who probably is mostly remembered for her role as housekeeper Alice on ABC's series "The Brady Brunch", has passed away. According to her agent Robert Malcolm, Davis passed away on Sunday, June 1 at the age of 88. Davis fell in a bathroom on Saturday and hit her head. She was found on Sunday morning and passed away later that day in a hospital in San Antonio, Texas.

"She was very sweet," Malcolm said of the late actress, as quoted by The Hollywood Reporter. "I represent a lot of well-known people, and few have been so content with their lot. She enjoyed what she did in life. She just had a birthday [May 3] and was in fine health. It's sad she had to die this way."

'X-Men: Days of Future Past' Becomes Highest Grossing Movie in the Franchise

"X-Men: Days of Future Past" has officially become the highest-grossing movie in the "X-Men" franchise. The Bryan Singer-directed film has surpassed the $459.4 million grossed by 2006's "X-Men: The Last Stand".

In the second weekend, "Days of Future Past" managed to add $128.2 million; $32.6 million of which came from domestic markets. Statistically, it earned a total of $500.2 million through Sunday, June 1 with $162.1 million of those coming from domestic markets.

"Sherlock" is coming to Netflix. The streaming service has scored exclusive rights to all three episodes of the latest installment of the British drama starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman.

"Maleficent" rules the box office this weekend with an estimated $70 million from 3,948 theaters across North America. It tramples fellow newcomer "A Million Ways to Die in the West" by more than $50 million and hovers over last weekend's champion "X-Men: Days of Future Past" by $30 million.

With such number, "Maleficent" became Angelina Jolie's best opening film ever. In 2008, she voiced "Kung Fu Panda" which opened to $60.2 million. Her movie with partner Brad Pitt, "Mr and Mrs Smith", took in $50.3 million in the first week in 2005.

Miley Cyrus lost some valuables in a recent burglary. Officers from North Hollywood station received a report of burglary at Cyrus' San Fernando Valley home at 4 P.M. on Friday, May 30. According to the authorities, a man and a woman broke into the property when there was no one at home and took a 2014 white, four-door Maserati Quattroporte and some jewelry.

According to TMZ, it was Cyrus' assistant who found out about the burglary. Sources said that the assistant went to the house and found that things were not in the right place. There were no signs of forced entry, so the authorities were checking surveillance cameras and finger prints for clues.

South Korean sensation PSY sets another record. A music video for his viral smash hit single "Gangnam Style" reaches an unprecedented feat on YouTube, soaring past two billion views on the video-sharing website after being released two years ago.

"@psy_oppa's #GangnamStyle just became the first YouTube video to hit 2 billion views!" YouTube broke the news. PSY himself tweeted to his 3.46 million followers, "Two billion views; they are very honorable and very burdensome numbers.
