Paul McCartney Leaves Japan After Discharged From Hospital

Paul McCartney has left Japan, boarding a charter plane on Monday, May 26. The former member of The Beatles reportedly has been released from St. Luke's International Hospital in Tokyo after falling ill from a virus infection last week.

No destination was given, but the ex-Fab Four is reportedly on his way back home in London. "Paul McCartney himself hopes to return to Japan for more concerts as soon as possible," concert organizers said, adding that this would be discussed.

An official look at Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's wedding arrives online. She posts on Instagram pictures from the lavish ceremony. One shows her smooching her new husband at the altar, and the other sees them holding hands as they walk back down the aisle after exchanging wedding vows.

Kim donned a Givenchy haute couture gown with handmade lace work, sheer paneling, and a long veil, while her groom looked sharp in a Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci tux. Their daughter, 11-year-old Nori West, also wore a Givenchy creation. For the reception, the bride changed into a short, cream-colored Balmain dress.

Taylor Swift Cancels Thailand Concert Due to Military Coup

Taylor Swift is no longer scheduled to do a show in Thailand. She cancels her sold-out gig initially planned for June 9 in Bangkok shortly after the country came under military rule. A curfew was reportedly imposed between the hours of 10 P.M. and 5 A.M. following the political unrest last week.

Local concert organizer, BEC-Tero Entertainment, says the concert was cancelled "due to recent events." Taylor herself issues a brief statement on Twitter after news of the cancellation broke out, "I'm sending my love to the fans in Thailand. I'm so sad about the concert being canceled."

Austin Mahone Debuts 'Shadow' on 'Today' Show Stage

Austin Mahone gave an exciting performance for fans who gathered at Rockefeller Plaza on Monday morning, May 26. The 18-year-old singer performed three of his songs on the "Today" show stage, including a new track called "Shadow" which is taken from his EP "The Secret", released on May 27.

Wearing a black top over an all-white ensemble, the 18-year-old singer played his guitar as he sang the ballad. He was backed by three backing singers for the performance. "Only my shadow knows how I feel about you," he crooned.

He thinks an arms dealer knows where Margot is but he needs Kate's help to make his plans work. Jack's motive is questioned after he hands Kate over to the arms dealer, while Kate has to sustain torture. "Just make it count," Kate tells him.

Barbara Walters Will Donate Her Archives to Sarah Lawrence College

Barbara Walters is going to donate some archives from her career to her alma mater, Sarah Lawrence College. The former co-host on "The View" shared the news as she made a surprise appearance during a commencement at the school on Friday, May 23, saying she would give the school tapes, papers and photos from her five-decade of career as a journalist.

During her appearance at the event, Walters said she remembered a professor named Joseph Campbell who told his students "to follow our bliss." As quoted by The Journal News, she continued saying, "I have to tell you that when I left Sarah Lawrence, I had no idea what my 'bliss' was. So if you are like me and you have no idea what your 'bliss' is, get a job. I promise you that bliss will come."

Details of Pixar's upcoming animation "Inside Out (2015)" are revealed as official synopsis for the film arrives. "About to play a surprise concert for the troops in Afghanistan. God bless our military. Here we go," Paisley tweeted before taking the stage. He performed an hour-long set for the military crowd inside the hangar at Bagram Airfield.

"Congratulations to my daughter @MsLeahWood and Jack & Maggie ~ Baby 'Otis Sonny David MacDonald' was born today!" the rocker wrote. Wood added a baby emoji in the end of the message and attached a photo of Rolling Stone baby clothes to the post.

David Schwimmer has assisted NYPD solve crime. The Ross Geller depicter on "Friends" invited some police investigating into a stabbing case to his East Village townhouse on Monday, May 26 as they needed footage from surveillance cameras around his home.

The stabbing incident took place at 5:40 A.M., involving three people. The people were captured on camera having a brawl in a neighboring building. They continued the fight in a hallway and eventually smashed through a glass lobby door. "It started inside and spilled out into the street. There was blood everywhere," a student living in the area told New York Daily News.

His response was not exactly put into words, but it's a black-and-white picture of Buster Keaton holding a Cornetto ice cream.

It seems that Wright likens his situation with Marvel to Keaton's fallout with MGM back in 1920s. Keaton, an actor and director, regretted his decision to leave independent film in favor of MGM, a booming studio at that time. In 1928, he called it "the worst mistake of my career."

Mahbod Moghadam, a co-founder of Rap Genius, has been let go after some people said that his comments on manifesto written by Elliot Rodger, a 22-year-old man who killed six people in a shooting spree near the University of Santa Barbara on Friday, May 23, were insensitive and creepy. The company's co-founder and CEO Tom Lehman announces Mogadham's resignation on the company's site.

"Mahbod Moghadam, one of my co-founders, annotated the piece with annotations that not only didn't attempt to enhance anyone's understanding of the text, but went beyond that into gleeful insensitivity and misogyny. All of which is contrary to everything we're trying to accomplish at Rap Genius," the statement read. "In light of this, Mahbod has resigned - both in his capacity as an employee of the company, and as a member of our board of directors, effective immediately."

"[Directing 'Prisoner of Azkaban'] was a very beautiful experience for me," he said. "I have a lot of love for that universe and I tremendously admire J.K. Rowling, but today, for the present, projects based around lots of visual effects don't attract me. Herb Jeffries, First Black Singing Cowboy, Dies at 100

Actor singer Herb Jeffries, the first African-American singing cowboy in movies, has passed away. Author Raymond Strait who is working on the star's autobiography "Color of Love" confirmed the sad news to Los Angeles Times, saying that Jeffries died on Sunday, May 25 in West Hills (Calif.) Hospital and Medical Center because of heart failure.

Jeffries was born Umberto Valentino in Detroit in 1913 to an Irish mother and a father of Sicilian, Ethiopean, French, Italian and Moorish descent. In the 1930s, he appeared in five western movies which had all-black casts, "Harlem on the Prairie", "Two-Gun Man From Harlem", "Rhythm Rodeo", "The Bronze Buckaroo" and "Harlem Rides the Range". During his career, he also took part on some TV shows including "Where's Huddles?" and "Hawaii Five-O".

'X-Men: Days of Future Past' Tops 4-Day Memorial Weekend Box Office

"X-Men: Days of Future Past" is estimated to have taken about $111 million in the four-day weekend box office. It became the second-largest opening of any "X-Men" film behind "X-Men: The Last Stand" which opened to $122 million in 2006.

The Bryan Singer-directed film brought in $91.4 million from Friday to Sunday and an additional $10 million on Monday, May 26 after opening in over 4,000 U.S. theaters. The Marvel movie is projected to be the fifth best Memorial Day holiday weekend debut in box office history behind "Fast and Furious 6". The first place belongs to "Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End" that debuted in 2007 with $139 million.
