'Girl Meets World' Finds Cory's Brother in 'The Glades' Alum

"Girl Meets World" has added another actor to its cast ensemble. The show has tapped Uriah Shelton, who starred on A&E's "The Glades", to portray Cory's younger brother. E! News has obtained the first look at teenage "Uncle Joshua," who is described as a laid back and effortlessly cool little bro, with Cory and Topanga's daughter Riley (Rowan Blanchard) and her friend Maya (Sabrina Carpenter).

Shelton's Joshua will first appear in the holiday episode. In the same episode titled "Girl Meets Home for the Holidays", Rider Strong, William Russ and Betsy Randle will be back to reprise their roles as Shawn Hunter and Cory's parents respectively.

Touching Trailer of Roger Ebert Documentary 'Life Itself' Arrives Online

The first trailer for "Life Itself", a Sundance documentary about film critic Robert Ebert, has hit the web. The two-minute touching video shows some friends and colleagues looking back on the late Pulitzer Prize winner's wonderful life.

They recall Ebert as the one who scripted Russ Meyer's "Beyond the Valley of the Dolls" and wrote for the Chicago Sun-Times. The clip also offers some footage of the famed critic working while dealing with an illness which later took his life.

Kendra Wilkinson Names Baby Daughter Alijah

The name of Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett's newborn baby girl has been revealed. According to the baby's birth certificate obtained by TMZ, the couple's bundle of joy who was born at the Cedars-Sinai medical center last week is named Alijah Mary Baskett. The baby's first name is an Americanized version for Elijah which means The Lord is My God.

Wilkinson gave birth to baby Alijah on Friday morning, May 16 via C-section. "She is happy and healthy," a representative for the reality star confirmed. In addition to baby Alijah, Wilkinson and her husband are parents to a 4-year-old son Hank Baskett Jr.

Skylar Astin Also Back for 'Pitch Perfect 2'

Another original "Pitch Perfect" star is tapped to return for the sequel. Skylar Astin is set to reprise his role as Jesse Swanson in "Pitch Perfect 2", which is confirmed with a tweet by Ben Platt who played Benji Applebaum in the first film.

"What better way to spend my first day on set for #PitchPerfect2 than by doing a scene with my roomie @SkylarAstin," Platt wrote in a caption of the photo posted on Wednesday, May 21. In the image, the two actors wear matching blue shirts with striped ties.

"Next to You" features strong NSYNC and/or Backstreet Boys vibes in the chorus. In it, Mahone talks about him falling for a pretty girl who's unhappy with her current boyfriend. He wants the girl to end the relationship and start anew with him.

Bryan Singer Says Marvel and Fox Battle 'Is Not Healthy'

Bryan Singer weighs in on the growing rivalry between Marvel and Fox following the former's move to include Quicksilver, who will appear in "X-Men: Days of Future Past", to "Avengers: Age of Ultron" ensemble along with his twin sister Scarlett Witch. In an interview with SciFiNow, the "X-Men: Days of Future Past" director says of the battle, "It's not healthy for us."

"I'll tell you why: they're both comic-books and at some point you can expand the universes, that's where the comparison ends," he explains. "The Marvel universes - particularly Avengers and Iron Man - are... and it sounds defensive, and it is defensive, but only because people make comparisons between [Days of Future Past] and 'The Avengers', which is ludicrous."

Nikki Reed Files for Divorce From Husband

Nikki Reed has filed for divorce from her husband Paul McDonald after two years of marriage. The "Twilight" actress filed the paper on May 16 in Los Angeles Superior Court, only two months after she announced her separation from the former "American Idol" singer. According to PEOPLE, Reed cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the separation. She also asked the court to deny him a spousal support.

Back in March, a representative for Reed said that the 26-year-old star and her husband had been living separately for 6 months. "After much consideration, Nikki Reed and Paul McDonald are ending their marriage. They have been living separately for the past six months due to work obligations," the statement read.

Disney reveals the first teaser trailer for the upcoming animation adaptation of Marvel's "Big Hero 6". While the first footage debuted last year only showed the landscape of city San Fransokyo, this new sneak peek gives a look at Hiro Hamada in his lab creating robot.

The film is directed by Don Hall ("Winnie the Pooh") and Chris Williams ("Bolt"). Jamie Chung, T.J. Miller, and Maya Rudolph are among the voice cast. It's scheduled to arrive Stateside November 7 this year before hitting theaters overseas starting February 13, 2015.

Bryan Singer Files Motion to Dismiss Sexual Abuse Lawsuit

Bryan Singer, who was sued by a man named Michael Egan III for allegedly sexually abusing him in Hawaii and other places in 1999, filed a motion on Wednesday, May 21 to dismiss the case for the lack of jurisdiction. According to The Daily Beast, Singer's motion quotes Egan's deposition from a lawsuit in 2003 to show that the filmmaker and Egan were not in Hawaii when the abuse allegedly took place and that Singer did not abuse Egan.

The motion filed by the 44-year-old director's lawyer Marty Singer, who is not related to the filmmaker, also includes a statement from the "X Men: Days of Future Past" director. In the statement, he said that during the span of time he allegedly abused Egan, he was mostly in Canada for an "X Men" movie filming. He also had a business trip to California and a family-related trip to New England.

Report: WB to Sell Off Ryan Gosling's 'Lost River' After Negative Reviews From Cannes

Warner Bros. bought "Lost River" which marks Ryan Gosling's directorial debut, but now reportedly has lost interest in the movie. Deadline reports the studio "[is] now is chatting with specialty distributors about the possibility of one of them acquiring and releasing the film."

The report came on heels of unfavorable reviews coming from Cannes after the fantasy-neo-noir movie was screened at the Film Festival earlier this week. The film written and produced by Gosling boasts starry cast that include Christina Hendricks, Matt Smith, Saoirse Ronan, and Eva Mendes.

Gillian Jacobs is heading to "Girls" after graduating from "Community". The star of the recently canceled NBC sitcom will join Lena Dunham in the upcoming season 4 of "Girls", on which she has landed a recurring role.

The former Britta Perry depicter is cast as a character named Mimi-Rose Howard. She will first appear in episode 5 which is aptly titled "Mimi-Rose". A rep for HBO has confirmed the news first reported by TVLine, but doesn't divulge more details of Jacobs' character.

David S. Goyer doesn't think making movies about Martian Manhunter and She-Hulk is a good idea. The screenwriter/director explains his thoughts during an interview for Scriptnotes podcast on a panel with other superhero/fantasy screenwriters like Christopher Markus ("Captain America: The Winter Soldier") and Andrea Berloff ("Conan the Barbarian").

Manhunter, a DC Comics property, is an alien who disguises his identity by posing as a detective working for the Metropolis police department. "How many people in the audience have heard of Martian Manhunter?" Goyer asks, before throwing shades at the fanboys, "How many people that raised their hands have ever been laid?"

Benedict Cumberbatch has joined the cast ensemble of Whitey Bulger biopic "Black Mass". He is brought in as a last minute replacement for Guy Pearce who departed the project due to scheduling conflicts. "We were not able to make it work with Guy," Cross Creek Pictures president Brian Oliver told Variety.

Pearce was originally set to play Bulger's brother, Bill, who was president of the Massachusetts Senate and a big power broker in town. Joel Edgerton is booked to tackle the role of FBI agen named John Connolly who is also Bulger's childhood friend, while Johnny Depp is tapped to portray the main character.

Gregg Allman and 'Midnight Rider' Producers Sued Over Death of Film's Crew Member

The family of Sarah Jones, the camera assistant who was killed during the filming of the Gregg Allman biopic "Midnight Rider", has slapped the director, producers, and other key individuals and organizations associated with the production with a wrongful death lawsuit. Her parents, Richard and Elizabeth Jones, filed the suit on Wednesday, May 21 at Chatham County State Court in Georgia, where the accident happened in February this year.

Among the defendants are The Allman Brothers Band founder who serves as one of the executive producers, director Randall Miller, his writer-producer wife Jody Savin, and their production company Unclaimed Freight Productions. Also named in the lawsuit are CSX Transportation which owns the railroad tracks where the fatal accident occurred; Rayonier Performance Fibers which owns the land surrounding the crash site, and the film's distributor Open Road Films.

Michael Jace does not have good parenting skills, according to his former wife Jennifer Bitterman. Bitterman mentioned in a court document in connection to a 2004 custody case, obtained by New York Daily News, that the actor who is now accused of killing his wife April used "intimidation style of discipline" on their son Jordan.

Jace reportedly spanked their young son "for crying or being afraid" and threatened him once for "failing to stand up to his stepbrother." As the result, their son was afraid of him and he didn't want to spend his time with the actor. "I would make every effort to encourage Jordan to be brave and reassure him that (Jace) loves him and that he is safe with him," the document read.

The album gives the duo their third album to chart within Billboard 200's top 10. Their previous release, 2011's "El Camino", debuted at No. 2 with 206,000. In 2010, they had their "Brothers" debuted and peaked at No. 3.

Warner Bros. announced the official title of the "Man of Steel" sequel which people had been calling "Superman Vs. Batman" and "Man of Steel 2". The film that will bring together Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman is now called "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice".
