Peter Bradshaw of The Guardian sounded off his opinion on Twitter, posting, "Just think. If Ryan Gosling hadn't been such a star actor, he'd never have been allowed to direct *stares into space, screams*" In a longer review, he said, "It is colossally indulgent, shapeless, often fantastically and unthinkingly offensive and at all times insufferably conceited. Yet it is frustrating precisely because it sometimes isn't so bad."

Miley Cyrus gave fans a surprise when she recently brought her "Bangerz" tour to Ireland. The 21-year-old singer treated fans who packed the Odyssey Arena in Belfast with the cover of The Smiths' "There Is a Light That Never Goes Out".

In the middle of the performance, Cyrus took out her smartphone and used it to record herself singing the song. The former Disney princess then uploaded the short video on Instagram and simply captioned it, "#thesmiths."

Report: Will Smith and Wife Investigated by Child Services Following Daughter's Controversial Photo

Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith are questioned by child protection service after their daughter Willow Smith's controversial photo emerged on social media earlier this month, Radar Online reports. According to the site, the two stars have been under investigation by the Los Angeles Department of Children & Family Services and they so far are cooperative.

"The investigation was formally opened last week and is being taken very seriously by the department," a source revealed. "Will and Jada Pinkett Smith have been extremely cooperative with officials. Of course, they aren't happy that their parenting skills are under scrutiny, but they understand."

Iranians Arrested After Recreating Pharrell's 'Happy' Music Video

Pharrell Williams has reacted to reports saying that a group of young Iranians were arrested after they recreated the music video of "Happy". On Tuesday night, May 20, the Grammy Award-winning singer/producer said on Twitter, "It's beyond sad these kids were arrested for trying to spread happiness."

The arrested Iranians consisted of three young men and three young women. All of them are featured dancing to the summery song in a viral YouTube video that was shot in the rooftops of Tehran.

"Dancing with the Stars" season 18 winners couldn't hide their excitement to take home the Mirrorball Trophy. In an interview with Access Hollywood backstage after the show, Meryl Davis said, "I think we're equally as happy." She added, "I think we've gone through such an amazing journey, but it's been a much longer journey for him," referring to her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

The victory was indeed more special for Maks who had longed for it since he first joined the show in 2006. "It takes so much effort to get to this point that we're both equally happy," the Ukrainian pro dancer said. "For me, it's a long time coming. There [are] a lot of people that wanted to see this happen and I'm very happy that they finally get that, 'Yes! We did it,' because they're the ones who called. They're the ones who voted."

It looks like Evan Peters will reprise his role in "X-Men: Apocalypse". Screenwriter/producer Simon kinberg confirms in a new interview with Total Film that Peters' character, Quicksilver, will "absolutely" return for the sequel to "X-Men: Days of Future Past".

Kinberg also comments on the coincidence that Quicksilver is included in Disney/Marvel's "Avengers: Age of Ultron". He additionally talks briefly about the initial plan to bring the super-fast mutant's twin sister, Scarlett Witch, into the mix. She was supposed to make a cameo, but her scene was eventually cut off from the movie.
