After admitting that she's single, Katy Perry who just split from John Mayer was spotted enjoying dinner with DJ/music producer Diplo in New York. They were previously seen getting cozy at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in California.

According to E! News, Katy and Diplo grabbed a bite at the Marlton Hotel before heading to "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" premiere afterparty at the Skylight at Moynihan Station in Manhattan. They then went to the Up & Down nightclub in the West Village.

Kevin Clash is cleared of sexual abuse charges, The Hollywood Reporter learns. The case was brought to the U.S. Court of Appeals after being dismissed by a New York judge, but it was once again tossed due to the statute of limitations.

The former Elmo puppeteer was sued by at least three men. He was accused of abusing them while they were still minors, but he vehemently denied it. Amidst the shocking allegations, he resigned from the PBS famous children show "Sesame Street".

Steven Spielberg to Direct Adaptation of Children's Book 'The BFG'

Another project is piled up to Steven Spielberg's schedule. The Hollywood Reporter learns that the director has been attached to sit behind the lens for an upcoming movie translation of Roald Dahl's 1982 children's book "The BFG" for DreamWorks.

The project has been in the works since 2011. The live-action film will be based on the fantastical tale of a Big Friendly Giant who befriends a young orphan girl. Melissa Mathison, who penned "E.T., writes the screenplay.

Us Weekly Denies Photoshopping Prince George's Picture

Us Weekly denies giving a Photoshop makeover to Prince George's picture featured in the cover of its latest edition. Other media noticed the differences between the royal baby's appearance in the original photo and in the magazine's cover, prompting speculation that the magazine added color to his cheeks and enhanced his eyes among other things.

The magazine has offered an explanation to the issue, saying in a statement that the original image needed standard color adjustments in order to be printed. "The original image used for the Prince George cover was dark and bluish in tone and needed to be given an overall color shift for printing purposes," a representative for the magazine said. "By no means did we go in and alter the color of his eyes or cheeks in this process."

Cranston is up for Outstanding Actor in a Play for his performance in "All the Way". He is facing off Hamish Linklater ("The Comedy of Errors"), Ian McKellen ("No Man's Land"), David Morse ("The Unavoidable Disappearance of Tom Durnin"), Chris O'Dowd ("Of Mice and Men"), Daniel Radcliffe ("The Cripple of Inishmaan"), and Denzel Washington ("A Raisin in the Sun").

The Oscar-winning actress had a date night with Nicholas Hoult on Thursday, April 24 in London and she flipped the bird when she was in a taxi with her "X-Men" co-star. In a photo obtained by E! News, Hoult can be seen trying to calm her down.

Prior to the scene, Lawrence and Hoult had a dinner with Tom Ford at the Chiltern Firehouse in the Marylebone area of London. She sported a Rag & Bone jumpsuit, a coat, Dolce & Gabbana handbag and earrings from EF Collection. Hoult, meanwhile, looked handsome in a gray shirt, a black jacket and pants.

Gregg Allman Asks 'Midnight Rider' Director Not to Resume Production

Gregg Allman wrote a letter to Randall Miller who directs his biopic "Midnight Rider". Learning that production would resume sometime this year, The Allman Brothers Band member urges the director not to proceed with the plan out of respect for Sarah Jones and her grieving family.

Jones, who worked as a camera assistant in the movie, was killed in a fatal accident during a filming on train tracks above a river in Georgia. The production was halted as authorities were investigating the accident, but now the production company, Unclaimed Freight, is looking to continue the filming in June and move the set to Los Angeles.

Louis C.K. Slips in 'Louie' Season 4 New Promo

A new promo for "Louie" season 4 has been released in anticipation of the long-awaited return of the comedy series. Not sharing any plot details, the short clip aptly titled "Slip" shows Louis C.K. slipping when following a sexy blonde who apparently has just finished swimming. He manages to get back on his feet, but the girl seemingly ignores him.

"Louie" will return with the fourth season starting Monday, May 5 at 10 P.M., with two all new back-to-back episodes at 10 and 10:30 P.M. on FX after a 19-month hiatus. The show will continue airing two episodes on one night for seven consecutive weeks through June 16. The cable channel originally only ordered 13 episodes for the season, but C.K gave an extra 14th episode as a special bonus for the wait.

Jennifer Lopez has announced that her new single is going to be called "First Love". The track, which will serve as the follow-up to French Montana-assisted "I Luh Ya Papi", was produced by Max Martin and it is scheduled to be released in May.

"First Love" was one of the songs that were played during an intimate brunch J.Lo hosted in Malibu, California, on Friday, April 25. According to Billboard, the upbeat and bass heavy track will feature lyrics like, "I wish you were my first love 'cause if you were first there wouldn't have been a second, third or fourth love."

'Ben-Hur' Remake Confirmed for 2016 Release

"Ben-Hur" remake has got an official release date. The movie is scheduled to make its way out in the United States on February 26, 2016. "The Bible" and "Son of God" executive producers Mark Burnett and Roma Downey board the project as producers.

Paramount and MGM are working together to bring the remake. Timur Bekmambetov ("Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter") is tapped to direct it from a script by "12 Years A Slave" writer John Ridley and "The Way Back" scribe Keith Clarke.

FOX Developing Miniseries Focusing on Jesus' 'Lost Years'

FOX is the latest network taking on Bible-themed project. The broadcaster teams up with Bob Cooper's Landscape Entertainment and David Franzoni to develop "Nazareth", an event series focusing on the early years of Jesus.

The miniseries, written and executive produced by "Gladiator" scribe Franzoni, will focus on the formative years of Jesus of Nazareth. It will depict the "lost years," which is not described in the New Testament, from the age of 13, when Jesus took a pilgrimage to Jerusalem with his parents, to age 30, when he began his ministry and was baptized by John the Baptist.

The "Conan the Barbarian" actor has been long rumored being in negotiations to star in the sequel. The Hawaii-born star is to tackle the role of Aquaman, which reportedly is a cameo setting up the next movie, but he always coyly denied the report.

Members of The Wanted Attacked by Knife-Wielding Man in Denver

Two members of The Wanted, Jay McGuiness and Siva Kaneswaran, were involved in a scary encounter with a knife-wielding homeless man in Denver earlier this week. According to TMZ, the boybanders were in Denver for their "Word of Mouth" tour and they decided to watch Johnny Depp's movie "Transcendence" before the concert.

After leaving the cinema, the two met a homeless man asking for money. Kaneswaran reportedly obliged, but the man asked for more. When the two refused, the homeless man reportedly pulled out a knife. They apparently were involved in a scuffle, but the stars managed to leave unharmed. According to a source, police were not called following the incident.

Lucasfilm Confirms New 'Star Wars' Trilogy Will Ignore the Expanded Universe

The upcoming "Star Wars" installments which kick off with "Star Wars Episode 7" will not tell the exact same story told in the expanded universe. The new trilogy will be original and draws only some basic elements from George Lucas' material. It means that some characters like Grand Admiral Thrawn and Jacen Solo introduced in "Star Wars" novels, comic books, video games, and TV shows will not make appearance in the upcoming installments.

"For over 35 years, the Expanded Universe has enriched the Star Wars experience for fans seeking to continue the adventure beyond what is seen on the screen," Lucasfilm said. "When he created Star Wars, George Lucas built a universe that sparked the imagination, and inspired others to create. He opened up that universe to be a creative space for other people to tell their own tales. This became the Expanded Universe, or EU, of comics, novels, videogames, and more."

More details from an egg attack involving Justin Bieber emerged. The Canadian singer is accused of throwing some eggs to his neigbor's house and an affidavit filed by the Los Angeles County Sheriff to support a search warrant to investigate Bieber's Instagram account revealed that Bieber appeared to have been laughing and high fiving his friends following the egg pelting.

In the affidavit, Detective Ginni Alvarez said that a home surveillance video showed a man who "resembled and who I will refer to as Suspect Bieber run from the direction of Victim Schwartz's residence and then up the driveway at Suspect Bieber's residence." Some men approached Bieber and they were "observed 'high fiving.' " The affidavit additionally said, "Bieber and the other males appeared to be laughing and celebrating."
