'The Bachelorette' Contestant Eric Hill Dies After Paragliding Accident

Eric Hill, a contestant on the upcoming season of "The Bachelorette", has just passed away. He was in a coma after being seriously injured in a paragliding accident on Sunday, April 20. His parachute collapsed, sending him careening into a hillside.

"Eric shared his final journey with us this morning as all his immediate family were able to be at his side when he passed away," his sister Karen Tracy wrote on Facebook. "Thank you to all of your love and support and prayers and fasting."

Justin Bieber Apologizes for Visiting Japanese Shrine Honoring War Criminals

Justin Bieber lands in hot water due to his visit to a controversial Japanese war memorial. He angers his fans in China and South Korea after he dropped by Tasukuni Shrine in Tokyo which honors those who lost their lives during World War II, including former Japanese military leaders responsible for the slaughter of Chinese.

Bieber posted on Instagram an image of himself standing next to a Shinto priest. "Thank you for all your blessings," he reportedly captioned the photo. One of his followers quickly slammed, "Did Justin Bieber just honour the memory of some of Japan's worst war criminals?" As many others gave negative responses, he quickly deleted the pic.

"It was exciting and just a major, major compliment," says the Mexican-born beauty who was raised in Kenya. She "never dreamed" of getting such title, but she "was happy for all the girls who would see me on [it] and feel a little more seen."

Wiz Khalifa Enlists Tyga and Ty Dolla $ign for 2014 'Under the Influence' Tour

Wiz Khalifa is set to hit the road again this summer. The rapper announced on Tuesday, April 22 that he would headline his annual "Under the Influence of Music" tour with special guests Tyga, Ty Dolla $ign, Rich Homie Quan, Sage the Gemini, Mack Wilds, Iamsu!, and DJ Drama.

The tour will open on July 24 at The Pavilion at Montage Mountain in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Wiz will then bring it to several cities across the U.S. including Virginia Beach, Dallas and Morrison. He will also make a stop in Toronto, Canada, on July 29.

First Look at 'Supernatural' Spin-Off 'Bloodlines' in Trailer and Pictures

The CW has given away the first look at the potential "Supernatural" spin-off via a preview for the new episode of the long-running show. Aptly titled "Bloodlines", the trailer takes viewers to Chicago, where Sam and Dean encounter Ennis Ross, played by Lucien Laviscount, who is a police academy trainee.

The Winchester brothers learn from Ennis that Mafia-esque monster families, unknowingly to humans, "run" the underbelly of the metropolis. Claiming to know more about the city, Ennis insists on joining the ghost hunter siblings as he has a personal vendetta against the monsters.

James Franco said Kanye West asked him and Seth Rogen to perform "Bound 2" at his upcoming wedding to Kim Kardashian. Franco revealed the story during an appearance on "The View" with his "Of Mice & Men" co-stars.

In the Tuesday, April 22 episode, the "Oz: The Great and Powerful" actor said that it all began when he and Rogen made a parody version of the rapper's "Bound 2" music video which also features the reality star. "We did get feedback," Franco said. "Kim loved the video and we didn't hear back from Kanye so we kind of felt like he's not bashing us, but he probably hates it but he's not going to say anything."

The National Cancels Shows in Russia and Ukraine Due to Political Crisis

The National has canceled their plan to play concerts in Russia and Ukraine because of the political unrest in the two countries. The rock band announced the cancellation in a statement posted on their Facebook page on Tuesday, April 22.

"Due to the ongoing political crisis in the region, we are sad to report that we have decided to cancel our shows in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Kiev this summer," the group wrote. "Ticket refunds are available at the point of purchase."

'Arrested Development' Creator Mitch Hurwitz to Produce New Projects for Netflix

Netflix will continue its partnership with Mitch Hurwitz following the success of "Arrested Development" season 4 which was released via the Internet streaming media. The writer/producer has signed a multi-year deal with the company, so a rep for Netflix has confirmed.

Under the agreement, Hurwitz will create and produce new original series for the streaming giant. "We are lucky to be in business with Mitch Hurwitz, a true genius with one of the most distinctive voices in comedy today," said Netflix's Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos on Tuesday, April 22. "Mitch's inventive approach to 'Arrested Development' - one of the top TV comedies of this generation - was ahead of its time, and we're fortunate to have him on our team."

Walter has sided with the gossip site, granting the defendant's motion to dismiss the director's legal complaint. However, the "Django Unchained" helmer is still allowed to re-file the case if there are any key changes. The amendment should be submitted by May 1.

Gawker was sued for linking a copy of Tarantino's leaked script "The Hateful Eight". The director said, "There was nothing newsworthy or journalistic about Gawker Media facilitating and encouraging the public's violation of Plaintiff's copyright in the Screenplay, and it's conduct will not shield Gawker Media from liability for their unlawful activity."

The Oscar-winning actor and Kapfer got married in 1994 and they have three children together. Kapfer wants joint legal and physical custody of their two minor children. Child support will be determined later.

If I could just take a few moments of your time, I'd love to tell you about the strongest woman that I know, my mom, Julie Lewis," he wrote. Lewis' mother contracted the virus in 1984 following an emergency blood transfusion when she gave birth to the star's older sister Teresa.

Three Hollywood Executives Deny Sex Abuse Accusations

A man named Michael F. Egan III, who filed a lawsuit against "X Men" director Bryan Singer last week for alleged sexual abuse, recently named three more Hollywood figures as a part of underage sex ring in new lawsuits. The three Hollywood executives, Garth Ancier, David Neuman and Gary Goddard, now have responded to the accusations.

Garth Ancier, who is a TV executive with decades of career, said in a statement via his attorney Louise Ann Fernandez that he had never been to the house in Hawaii where the abuse allegedly took place. "All of the allegations made by the plaintiff against Garth Ancier are demonstrably untrue, and we are confident the courts will agree when the evidence is presented," the emailed statement read.

David Foster Wallace's Family Opposes 'The End of the Tour'

"The End of the Tour" is facing a big stumbling block. Lawyers for David Foster Wallace's family have revealed that the late author would not have allowed interview transcripts to be used as the basis for the upcoming biopic.

The plan was to develop the film based on Rolling Stone writer David Lipsky's 2010 book "Although of Course You End Up Becoming Yourself: A Road Trip With David Foster Wallace". Lipsky accompanied Wallace who promoted his 1996 book "Infinite Jest" during the course of five days. Donald Margulies adapted the story for the film which was directed by James Ponsoldt.

"Blonde" is based on the Joyce Carol Oates' Pulitzer-nominated book about Monroe. Compared to Michelle Williams' "My Week with Marilyn", this would be a more elaborate look into Monroe's life from the point of view of the classic beauty herself. Names of the men in her life were never mentioned in the book and only referred to as the President, the Ex-athlete, the Playwright, etc.
