Richard Gere Reportedly Dating Padma Lakshmi Amid His Divorce

Richard Gere is back on the dating scene and has his eyes set on a TV show host. It has been reported that the veteran actor is seeing "Top Chef" host Padma Lakshmi and the relationship is said to be quite recent.

"They have been quietly spending some time together. It is all very new and recent, and happened while he has been filming in New York," a source told NY Post's Page Six. The actor is filming "Time Out of Mind" in which he plays a homeless man trying to reconnect with his estranged daughter. Lakshmi is based in New York but filmed the most recent season of "Top Chef" in New Orleans, Louisiana.

A Great Big World has dropped the official music video for their track called "Already Home". The nearly-four-minute visuals, which really fits the beautiful song, centers on a couple who's played by "Glee" star Darren Criss and actress Jessica Szohr.

Despite living in two different cities, the pair feel like they're always next to each other. At first, they have no problems with the long-distance relationship. They later have a huge fight and eventually decide to meet each other in person.

On Saturday, April 19, the couple and Ashton's sister Tausha were spotted grabbing breakfast together. A bystander named Ashley Allen tweeted a picture of the group as "they were walking down the street." Mila was wearing a striped shirt, capri khakis and white sneakers, while Ashton donned a blue plaid shirt, jeans and a Chicago Bears cap.

The 24-year-old star, who broke up with his production assistant girlfriend Rosie Coker in 2012, was seen with Erin doing grocery shopping in New York City last week. The couple, who met on the set of "Kill Your Darlings", was seen carrying plastic bags which feature images of the Union Jack. Daniel wore a dark top, a cap and covered his eyes with sunglasses. Sporting a flowery dress, sunglasses and flat shoes, Erin was all smiles during the outing.

Boxer Rubin 'Hurricane' Carter, Inspiration Behind Bob Dylan's Song, Dies at 76

Rubin "Hurricane" Carter, a boxer whose life story served as an inspiration behind a Bob Dylan song and a 1999 movie, has passed away. He was 76. As reported by The Associated Press, his friend and caregiver John Artis said that Carter passed away in his sleep at his home in Toronto on Sunday, April 20. Carter suffered from prostate cancer prior to his death.

Back in 1966, three white people were shot by two black men in Paterson, N.J. Carter and Artis, who were driving around the town that night, were later convicted of three murders by an all-white jury. Carter was convicted in 1967 and again in 1976. After years of appeals, the verdicts were finally overturned in 1985. Following his release, Carter became an advocate for prisoners.

'Farscape' Creator Confirms Movie Is in the Works

Those wondering whether "Farscape" will ever get a big-screen treatment can rejoice. It has been revealed at 2014 WonderCon that a movie version is happening.

Rockne O'Bannon launched the sci-fi series for Syfy back in 1999 to great reception. It chronicled the adventures of astronaut John Crichton (Ben Browder), who is hurtled to the far reaches of space via a wormhole. The show received Saturn Awards victories in addition to ranks from such platforms as Entertainment Weekly and Empire Online. After four seasons, the series was canceled due to budgeting issue and rating decline.

An extended trailer for BBC America's "The Musketeers" has been made available for viewing pleasure to hype up the upcoming premiere of the new series. The video hints that the show has a good mix of action and humor while occasionally featuring sex scenes.

Joss Whedon offers a new way to enjoy his new movie. The filmmaker has released "In Your Eyes", which he wrote and produced, online via Vimeo's video player before it makes a theatrical release. "It's exciting for us because it means we get to explore yet another new form of distribution - and we get $5," says Whedon. The movie was just premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival on Sunday, April 20 where the director of "The Avengers" announced the digital release of the new film in a video played after the screening of the movie.

Discovery Channel has canceled a Mount Everest jump after a tragedy that killed at least 13 people. "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" continued to gain top bucks on weekend Box Office as "Transcendence" failed to even match its $100 million budget. The Marvel movie earned $25.6 million domestically in its third week and landed at number 1 while the Johnny Depp sci-fi thriller gained $10.9 million in its first week and sat at number four.

"Captain America" officially passed the $200 million mark domestically and $586.6 million worldwide. According to Deadline, this is the 12th Marvel film to cross that threshold. It has become the biggest April release when it earned more than $96 million domestically in its opening weekend.
