Robert Downey Jr. Joins Twitter and Instantly Attracts Followers

The Twitterverse welcomes Robert Downey Jr. The "Iron Man" star has officially joined the microblogging site and has written "You know who I am" as his bio.

His first ever tweet came on Friday, April 11 when he posted a picture of him holding a sign bearing his verified name on Twitter. He captioned, "Talk to me, Twitter." The actor instantly got 18,000 plus followers and the number kept going up at fast pace. Among his celebrity followers are Jimmy Kimmel and Ryan Seacrest.

Nas Releases Trailer for Documentary 'Time Is Illmatic'

The first trailer for Nas' documentary "Time Is Illmatic" has just arrived online for viewing pleasure. The sneak peek is released just in time to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the rapper's debut album which propelled his name to stardom.

"When I made 'Illmatic', I was trying to make the perfect album," he says. "I was trying to make you experience my life. I wanted you to look at hip-hop differently. I wanted you to feel that hip-hop was changing and becoming something more real."

Keyshia Cole Releases 'Rick James' Music Video Ft. Juicy J

The full music video for Keyshia Cole's collaboration with Juicy J, "Rick James", has officially arrived. Directed by John Colombo, the four-minute visuals centers on the R&B diva who plans to confront her cheating boyfriend.

The footage of her riding her vintage glowing bicycle with her friends intersperses with the scene of her boyfriend making out with another girl in his bedroom. At the end of the clip, Cole reaches the house of her boyfriend, who clearly doesn't expect the singer's visit.

Four New 'Walking Dead' Novels Are on the Way

"The Walking Dead" franchise expands with another book series. Robert Kirkman and Jay Bonansinga, who already teamed up for four novels, are working on another four "Walking Dead" book series, with the first one scheduled to be published by Thomas Dunne Books/St. Martin's Press on October 14.

According to Entertainment Weekly which has got its hand on the book's cover, the first of the four novels is titled "The Walking Dead: Descent". It follows Lilly Caul, who appears in the original comic book and is a central character in previous novel "The Road to Woodbury", as she returns to Woodbury and attempts to rebuild it after the Governor's failed assault on the prison.

Video: Drunk Jude Law Tries to Kiss Woman at Bar

An apparent drunk Jude Law was secretly filmed trying to make a move on a woman. The viral video apparently was taken at a bar in Budapest, Hungary by another patron at the bar. The John Watson depicter in "Sherlock Holmes" is currently in Hungary to film "Spy" alongside Jason Statham, Rose Byrne and 50 Cent among others.

At the beginning of the 3-minute clip, the actor can be seen talking to a blond woman on his left side, swaying unsteadily. "Tuesday is the new Friday, Tuesday is a good night, Tuesday is the best night ever," Law said in the video before making an unintelligible conversation with his female companion.

First Footage of 'Gone Girl': Ben Affleck at Press Conference

The first footage from upcoming movie "Gone Girl" has landed online via Entertainment Tonight. A sneak-peek for the movie's first trailer, the 20-second snippet shows Ben Affleck's Nick Dunne at a press conference addressing the disappearance of his wife, Amy, played by Rosamund Pike.

Other scenes give a quick look at Nick and Amy having a heated and physical confrontation, and the two sharing a tender kiss. A shot of Amy drowning is also flashed as Affleck's character says in a voiceover, "I did not kill my wife. I am not a murderer."

Ed Sheeran is the latest musician who has covered Beyonce Knowles' hit single, "Drunk in Love". During his visit to "Z100's Morning Show" earlier this week, the British redhead wowed the show's hosts with his amazing vocals.

He told the hosts that he'd played the song a little bit in the past. "I did around 12 seconds of it and everyone online was like, 'I wanna hear a full version!' " he said and then played his acoustic guitar as he sang the sultry track. He skipped Jay-Z's rap verses but added some lines of Bey's "1+1" at the end of the song.

The wait for Lana Del Rey's new music will finally be over as her new single titled "West Coast" is going to be premiered on BBC radio on Monday, April 14. A Guardian journalist has said on Twitter that the track will get its first play on Fearne Cotton's show which starts at 10:00 A.M. local time.

Del Rey hasn't confirmed or denied the news, but she excited fans with the single's cover art which she released via Twitter on Friday, April 11. In the picture, the 27-year-old singer is seen looking straight at the camera as she stands in front of the background of a beach.

Baz Luhrmann in Talks to Adapt Classic Western Martial Arts TV Series 'Kung Fu'

A movie version of 1970s TV show "Kung Fu" is underway. Baz Luhrmann ("Moulin Rogue!", "The Great Gatsby") is in negotiation to adapt the classic western martial arts show that originally starred David Carradine for Legendary Pictures.

No other details are available, but the current screenplay is written by "Black Swan" scribe John J. McLaughlin. According to The Hollywood Reporter, if Luhrmann finalizes the deal, he will have to do a rewrite first before proceeding with the project.

Syfy Picks Up New Space Opera Series, 'The Expanse'

Syfy is setting up another war on space. The network is handing out a straight-to-series order to space odyssey "The Expanse", which is based on the best-selling novel series of the same name by James S.A. Corey, the pen name of Daniel Abraham and Ty Franck.

Set 200 years in the future, the drama follows a hardened detective and a rogue ship's captain as they race across the solar system to expose what could be the greatest conspiracy in history. Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby, who co-wrote "Iron Man", will serve as writers and executive producers.

Singer and Songwriter Jesse Winchester Dies at 69

Jesse Winchester, a singer/songwriter who is known for songs such as "Yankee Lady", "Biloxi", "Mississippi You're on My Mind" and "The Brand New Tennessee Waltz", has passed away. As reported by The New York Times, Winchester's manager and agent Keith Case said that the singer died at his home in Charlottesville, Va. from bladder cancer. He was 69.

Winchester was born James Ridout Winchester in Bossier City, La. He had 10 years of piano lesson when he was a child. He played organ in local church and later also got interested in playing guitar after listening to songs on radio.

Cher Lloyd Debuts New Ballad 'Human'

Cher Lloyd has teased her upcoming album "Sorry I'm Late" with a new track. On Friday, April 11, the British beauty dropped "Human" as the promo single from the new record which is now scheduled to hit stores on May 27.

Michael Bay Confirms Plan for New 'Transformers' Trilogy and Spills Plot Details

Two sequels are in the cards to follow up "Transformers: Age of Extinction", it's confirmed. "Yeah, it's the first of a new trilogy. I'm not necessarily sure that I'm doing [the others], but that's what it's meant for," Michael Bay told Entertainment Weekly in the mag's latest issue.

The upcoming movie will feature some new robots including Dinobot. Although the director refused to divulge any details of Grimlock's story, he did say that the robot would be "150 feet long from tail to nostrils, 63.5 feet tall from the ground to the top of his horns, and weigh 850 tons."

The Game Hit With Restraining Order

The Game's former fiancee Tiffney Cambridge was granted restraining order against the rapper on April 2. According to TMZ, the rapper was ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from Cambridge after he allegedly attacked her during an altercation which took place last month. He, however, may visit his children on weekends. Another court session is scheduled for later this month.

Earlier this month, Cambridge filed a police report alleging that she suffered from broken nose and other injuries on her face after she was attacked by The Game. In a court document obtained by the site, Cambridge claimed that a table got broken when The Game turned violent during the altercation.

The family of Mickey Rooney finally has reached settlement regarding the actor's final resting place. Attorneys explained that agreement was made on Thursday, April 10 just before a hearing which was scheduled to take place on Friday.

Rooney will be buried at Hollywood Forever Cemetery which also serves as the final resting place for Hollywood figures such as Cecil DeMille, Jayne Mansfield and Rudolph Valentino. Mike Myers and his wife Kelly Tisdale welcomed baby number two on Friday, April 11 and "couldn't be happier." According to People, the couple has named the baby girl after one of the days in the week, Sunday Molly.

Myers and Tisdale, who got married in 2010 after four years of dating, are already parents to 2-year-old son named Spike.
