Savannah Guthrie Is Married and Pregnant

Savannah Guthrie delivered a breaking news about herself via "Today" on Monday, March 17. The news anchor secretly wed fiance Mike Feldman over the weekend near her hometown of Tucson, Arizona. The newlyweds are also expecting their first child.

"We are so excited, overjoyed and feel so blessed," Guthrie said. The 42-year-old shared the baby joy, approving the show viewers' speculation that she looked a little fuller. "I don't take offense," she said with a smile. "They were right." Guthrie is four months along and the baby is due late summer.

'How I Met Your Mother' Creators Avoid Talking About Death Speculation

There has been a wild speculation about "How I Met Your Mother" series finale and co-creators Carter Bays and Craig Thomas were faced with the difficult question during a panel at the PaleyFest on Saturday, March 15. They, however, did nothing to debunk the rumor that the titular mother may be already dead in the last episode.

"We're wildly excited about the finale and obviously we can't say anything," said Bays when asked by moderator and frequent guest castmember Wayne Brady if the mother would die. He simply added, "It's beautiful."

Lorde Slams Reporter for Asking Her Boyfriend If They're Engaged

Lorde has shot down speculations whether she is engaged to her boyfriend James Lowe. The "Royals" singer took to Twitter on Sunday, March 16 to slam a celebrity news site for sending an e-mail to Lowe to ask if they are engaged.

The singer shared a screengrab of an e-mail from an E! News writer who apparently speculated the engagement because Lorde was seen "wearing what appears to be a diamond ring on her ring finger." She wrote, "You have officially hit the big time when creeps from e think wearing rings means getting married."

'Wolverine' Sequel Will Be Filmed After 'X-Men: Apocalypse'

After "X-Men: Days of Future Past" hits theaters coming May 23 in the United States, there will be two more "X-Men" films that have already been confirmed. They are "The Wolverine" sequel and "X-Men: Apocalypse", but which one is coming first?

According to James Mangold, his "Wolverine" follow-up will not go into production until "Apocalypse". The director tweeted, "We're figuring it all out. At the moment, I'm shooting The next #Wolverine after #XmenApocalypse," when one of his followers asked.

Nine Inch Nails and Soundgarden's Joint Tour Dates

Nine Inch Nails and Soundgarden made it official on Saturday, March 15 night that they would embark on a joint tour. The bands have hinted on the co-headlining jaunt last week when they posted a tour teaser on their Instagram.

The 23-date trek kicks off July 19 in Las Vegas at Planet Hollywood and wraps up in Los Angeles on August 25 at the Hollywood Bowl. The dates are mostly in the U.S. but they will make a stop in Toronto. Supporting in all but two dates is Death Grips.

Scarlett Johansson has spoken up following accusations that Woody Allen inappropriately touched Dylan Farrow when she was a child. Farrow wrote an open letter earlier this year in which she mentioned Johansson's name alongside others such as Alec Baldwin and Cate Blanchett. In an interview with The Guardian, which was published on Sunday, March 16, Johansson commented on the allegation for the first time.

"I think it's irresponsible to take a bunch of actors that will have a Google alert on and to suddenly throw their name into a situation that none of us could possibly knowingly comment on," she said. "That just feels irresponsible to me."

'Maleficent' Unleashes 'Legacy' Trailer

A brand new trailer is released for Disney's "Maleficent" before it hits theaters on May 30 this year. Titled "Legacy", the video gives the feeling of nostalgia as some animated footage from the Mouse House's Sleeping Beauty tale is displayed before the live-action scene is shown.

Most of the footage is already featured in previous trailers. It teases the crucial time when Maleficent casts her spell on the infant Princess Aurora, their first encounter in the woods, and the clash between the witch's terrifying army and the king's soldiers in a massive battle.

Marc Webb is ready to leave "The Amazing Spider-Man". The director, who helped relaunch the franchise after Sam Raimi's trilogy, reveals he will not return to the directing seat after the third movie. He would love to still get involved as a consultant and hopes to pursue other projects in his spare time.

"I'd like to be involved as a consultant," he told The Daily Beast in a recent interview. "I've already talked to these guys about it, but in terms of directing it, that will close out my tenure. I've had so much fun doing it, but after the third movie, it'll be the time to find something else."

Stooges' Drummer Scott Asheton Dies at 64

Scott Asheton, the drummer for band The Stooges, passed away on Saturday, March 15 at the age of 64. The sad news was confirmed by the band's frontman Iggy Pop via a statement on Facebook. "My dear friend Scott Asheton passed away last night," Pop wrote on Monday.

"Scott was a great artist, I have never heard anyone play the drums with more meaning than Scott Asheton. He was like my brother. He and Ron have left a huge legacy to the world. The Asheton's have always been and continue to be a second family to me," the statement continued. "My thoughts are with his sister Kathy, his wife Liz and his daughter Leanna, who was the light of his life."

"Before I Disappear" celebrated fans-voted win in Narrative Feature Competition. Based on 2013 Oscar-winning short film "Curfew", it stars director Shawn Christensen, Fatima Ptacek, Emmy Rossum, Paul Wesley, Ron Perlman, and Richard Schiff. It follows Richie who, at the lowest point of his life, gets a call from his estranged sister, asking him to look after his eleven-year-old niece, Sophia, for a few hours.

Chris Pine Pleads Guilty to DUI in New Zealand

Chris Pine has pleaded guilty to a charge of drink-driving at Ashburton District Court, New Zealand. According to Stuff.co.nz, the actor appeared in court on Monday, March 17 where he was ordered to pay NZ$93 or $79 in reparation. His driving license was also suspended for six months as the result.

The "Star Trek Into Darkness" star reportedly stood silently as his lawyer Marilyn Gilchrist entered the guilty plea. Gilchrist applied for Pine to be discharged without conviction, citing that conviction would be "devastating." Gilchrist also said, "He accepts he made the wrong decision to drive that night. He was not stopped because of any error in his driving."

According to reports, Winfrey's Harpo Inc. has agreed to sell the four-building campus to the Chicago developer for around $32 million after a bidding war that involved investors from as far away as China.

"Veronica Mars" release was marred with backlash from its Kickstarter backers. It was initially promised that anyone who donated $35 or more would be given a "digital copy" of the crowd-funded film for free on its release date, March 14, but many of them have difficulties downloading the flick.

Two issues were raised by fans regarding the promised reward. First, the giveaway was only available at social film website, Flixster, although other more-popular platforms like Amazon and iTunes where many backers actually already had accounts also carried the movie. The second complaint was they receive a standard definition, while others who were not Kickstarter supporters could get an HD version on other platforms.

Executive producer Conrad Green admits there were some "anomalous results" in season 17 after the results show was cut, which forced them to reveal the eliminated couple each week based on the combination of viewer votes from the previous week with the judges' scores from the current week.

In order to improve, they will introduce a new way to determine who will be eliminated each week. In the upcoming 18th season, the elimination will be based on both the judges' scores and viewer votes from the current week.

The Flaming Lips' frontman Wayne Coyne revealed that he had teamed up with Miley Cyrus to cover The Beatles' "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds". The unlikely collaboration also included Andrew VanWyngarden from MGMT.

On Friday, March 14, Coyne posted a photo of Cyrus rolling a joint in a recording studio and wrote, "Yup...... Recordin with Miley... High as f**k...." He later shared a photo of Cyrus recording the track, writing, "Miley in the studio vomiting diamonds while singing Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds!!
