First Wave of Nick's Kids Choice Awards Presenters and Performers Announced

The first set of presenters and performers for the upcoming 2014 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards has been revealed. "Veronica Mars" actress Kristen Bell is among those scheduled to present, joined in the list by Ian Somerhalder and Will Arnett.

According to THR, indie rock band American Authors will perform their single "Best Day of My Life" at the Saturday, March 29 ceremony. "We're such big fans of Nickelodeon and the Kids Choice Awards! It's an honor to be performing on the show March 29th, we can't wait! PLEASE SLIME US!!!!" they said in a statement to THR.

CBS has unveiled its summer 2014 schedule, with new high-profile show "Extant" and hit series "Under the Dome" being lined up. "Big Brother 16" opens the list, being set to premiere Wednesday, June 25 at 8 P.M., followed by its Thursday show on June 26 at 9 P.M. and the Sunday broadcast on June 29 at 8 P.M.

Newbie "Reckless" debuts Sunday, June 29 at 9 P.M., followed by the third season premiere of "Unforgettable" at 10 P.M. Last summer's hit "Under the Dome" returns with the second season Monday, June 30 at 10 P.M., while "Extant" starring Halle Berry will debut Wednesday, July 9 at 9 P.M.

Bobby Cannavale has been tapped to play the Richie Finestra, the founder and president of American Century Records who undergoes a crisis of character when confronted with a life-altering decision. Wilde will play his wife, Devon Finestra.

Chris Pine Arrested for Drunk Driving

Chris Pine reportedly was arrested for drunk driving in New Zealand earlier this month. The "Star Trek Into Darkness" star allegedly was pulled over by the police in the early hours of March 1 after he attended a wrap party for his upcoming film "Z for Zachariah" at Blue Pub in Methven, Canterbury.

As reported by Stuff.co.nz, a statement from the police mentioned that a 33-year-old American man was "stopped during a routine drink-drive operation." The statement continued, "He has been charged with driving with excess blood alcohol and will appear in the Ashburton District Court on Monday 17 March. Given that the matter is now before the court, police will not be releasing any further information."

He adds, "I would say it's the goal we've had from the beginning. It was our unstated goal, because to start on a show and say your goal is seven seasons is the height of lunacy. Lindsay Lohan, Miley Cyrus and Honey Boo Boo meanwhile are placed third, fourth and fifth respectively. While Bieber's recent antics contributed to his rank, Lohan was exposed to public thanks to her recent rehab stint and docu-series on OWN. First Authorized Jimi Hendrix Biopic in the Works by His Estate

An official Jimi Hendrix biopic is in the horizon, Deadline reports. The movie is developed by his estate in conjunction with ICM Partners. It will be the first authorized film that focuses on the late rocker since previous attempts to tell his story on the big screen never came to fruition.

A project once pitched in by Legendary Pictures fell apart, despite having a directing commitment from Oscar-nominated Paul Greengrass and a script written by Max Borenstein, due to disapproval from Experience Hendrix LLC. Anthony Mackie was initially poised to star in it.

Keith Richards to Release Children's Book

After releasing a memoir called "Life" in 2010, Keith Richards is currently working on a children's book. Little, Brown Books for Young Readers announced on Tuesday, March 11 that the member of The Rolling Stones would release a book called "Gus & Me: The Story of My Granddad and My First Guitar" on September 9. The book will be available in hard copy with CD as well as E-book format.

As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, the book "offers a rare and intimate" look of Richards' relationship with his grandfather, a jazz musician who introduced him to music. Richards joins forces with his 28-year-old daughter Theodora Dupree Richards, who is named after Richards' grandfather, for the illustration. The musician also works with Barnaby Harris and Bill Shapiro for the book.
