'Jeopardy!' Hero Villain Arthur Chu Scores Ninth Win

"Jeopardy!" controversial contestant Arthur Chu returned this week and scored his ninth victory on Thursday, February 28. In the pre-taped episode, the so-called "hero villain" once again played for the tie on the final question.

At the end of the episode, Chu led with $22,400 while his nearest challenger Semret Lemma had $11,400. He bet only $400 to ensure a tie if Lemma bet everything, but Lemma did not bet everything. Both players guessed correctly, bringing Chu's total to $22,800 and bringing him to another win.

Miley Cyrus Jokes About Liam Hemsworth Engagement During Concert

Miley Cyrus poked fun at her broken engagement to Liam Hemsworth during her "Bangerz" concert in Phoenix, AZ on Thursday, February 27. Cyrus' fan Matt Peterson, who previously asked her to be his prom date, was at the concert and she invited him to go onstage.

Cyrus then serenaded him with "Adore You". At one point, Peterson got down on one knee and presented her with a corsage. "I was in this position once before and it didn't work out too well the last time a guy got on one knee for me. Hopefully this will be better," she said.

Turns out Sandra Bullock's tough law officer-turned-elegant beauty pageant character in "Miss Congeniality" was based on Ellen DeGeneres. She revealed in an interview with Parade magazine that the movie was inspired by her during the training days leading up to her Emmy hosting gig.

"Miss Congeniality was written based on me," she said. "When I was getting ready to cohost the Emmys, the writer saw me [on TV] learning how to walk in a dress and heels. My stylist at the time - a man - was teaching me, and it was ­hilarious. The Miss Congeniality writer saw it and thought it was brilliant."

Looking gorgeous in a sparkly catsuit by Vrettos Vrettakos, Beyonce sat on a chair and sang the lines of the sexy track before some dancers joined her onstage. She then welcomed her husband, who hit the stage in a black shirt and a black beanie while rapping his part.

Elsewhere, in a dark cell, Tom Hanks is dressed as a Franciscan monk and holding a candle while telling Chris' younger brother Liam Hemsworth who sits behind bars, "He is coming for you." The prisoner responds, "Then let him come," and Tom replies, "As you wish, my son."

Justin Timberlake got annoyed when a fan grabbed his butt during his concert in Philadelphia earlier this week. In a video that has just been uploaded by a YouTube user named Jacqueline Gazsi, the singer is seen in the middle of performing "Cabaret" onstage when the incident happens.

A fan, presumably a girl, appears to grab Timberlake from behind. The 33-year-old entertainer, however, manages to keep his cool as he expertly swats away the fan's hand without pausing his performance. After removing the grabby fan's hand, he moves to the other side of the stage and finishes the song.

Sony Wins Bidding War of Santa Claus Origin Script

"Winter's Knight", a script depicting the origin of Santa Claus, reportedly becomes a hot commodity in Hollywood. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sony Pictures has won the bidding war in an auction to adapt the story into the big screen.

Sony is allegedly in the process of closing a $1 million deal with Ben Lustig and Jake Thornton, the duo who wrote the story. "Kon-Tiki" helmers Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg are attached as directors, while Lawrence Grey and Marc E. Platt are on board as producers.

A new promo for the upcoming season 2 of "Orphan Black" has been made available for viewing pleasure, setting Sarah Manning's main mission in the new installment. In the 30-second trailer, she poses the questions, "How many of us are there?", "Who is the original?" and "Who created us?"

A new clip from the second season has also been shared. The third sneak peek of the promised eight clips shows Alison, another clone, getting abducted by men wearing suits. She apparently tries to seek help by blowing her whistle, but no one is coming out before she's taken into a black car.

3 Doors Down's Bassist Todd Harrell Will Be on House Arrest

Todd Harrell, the bassist of metal band 3 Doors Down, will live under house arrest until his trial. The musician was charged with vehicular homicide by intoxication after he was involved in a car accident which killed a man named Paul Howard Shoulders Jr. in 2013. Harrell has pleaded not guilty and is free on $100,000 bond.

On Friday, February 28, prosecutors asked the judge to revoke his bond after he was arrested for DUI earlier this month. "He's already killed somebody. The only thing that's going to keep the community safe is to put him in jail where he belongs," said Assistant District Attorney General Rebecca Valiquette, as quoted by The Tennessean.

"Mr. Brown will also require close supervision by his treating physician in order to ensure his bipolar mental health condition remains stable. It is not uncommon for patients with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Bipolar II to use substances to self-medicate their biomedical mood swings and trauma triggers," read a letter from the facility which is obtained by E! News.

"Jurassic World" has cast its villain. Vincent D'Onofrio ("Escape Plan") is tapped to play the main baddie in the fourth installment of "Jurassic Park" movie franchise. Indian star Irrfan Khan ("Life of Pi") is also added to the cast ensemble.

According to a scoop from The Warp, Khan is set to play Patel, the billionaire owner of a new Jurassic Park. D'Onofrio's character, meanwhile, is the CFO of the Patel Corporation who projects the image of a normal family man to mask a hidden edge.

Vandals left a message at the 165 Washington Park home, which he mentioned in his rant, on Friday, March 28. They spray-painted the wall with "Do the Right Thing", a reference to his movie. The vandals, however, only managed to write half of the title. "I think that Spike needs to stop mentioning the house in his comments. He can say whatever he wants, but don't mention that," said Arnold, Lee's half-brother who lives in the house, as quoted by New York Daily News.

Philip Seymour Hoffman's Death Ruled 'Accidental', Lethal Mix of Drugs Blamed

New York City Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has made it official the cause of death of actor Philip Seymour Hoffman. The 46-year-old died of "accidental acute mixed drug intoxication, including heroin, cocaine, benzodiazepines, and amphetamine," a spokeswoman for the office said.

The report, which was released on Friday, February 28, also ruled that Hoffman's death was accidental. The "Capote" star was found on the bathroom floor of his Manhattan apartment on February 2 with a needle in his left arm. He had been fighting drug addictions and had sought treatment last year after 23 years of sobriety.
