Lupita Nyong'o Was Bullied as Child for Her Skin Color

Even Lupita Nyong'o did not escape being bullied as a child. Born in Mexico, raised in Kenya and educated in the United States, the 30-year-old revealed during Essence Black Women in Hollywood luncheon on Thursday, February 27 that she used to be teased for her skin color.

"I got teased and taunted about my skin," Nyong'o said. My one prayer to God was that I would wake up lighter skinned. The morning would come and I would be so excited about seeing my new skin that I would refuse to look down at myself until I was in front of the mirror because I wanted to see my face first. Every day I would feel the disappointment of being just as dark as the day before."

Anne Hathaway Wax Figure Unveiled by Madame Tussauds

A wax figure which is modeled after Anne Hathaway has been unveiled by Madame Tussauds. The ceremony took place on Thursday, February 27 at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. The life-like figure reportedly was made by 20 artists and they needed three months to finish the work, which was made with a $300,000 budget.

The art work, especially the smile, looks similar to the real person. The wax figure is styled wearing an elegant-looking black dress. It has long hair which is pinned back. The wax statue also wears sparkling jewelry and holds a matching clutch.

Nas' Baby Mama Claims He Owes $11,000 in Child Support

The mother of Nas' daughter reportedly has filed a court document, claiming that the rapper has not paid $11,000 in child support. Carmen Bryan called the rapper a "repeat criminal non supporter" in the document and accused him of intentionally ruining their daughter by not paying the college tuition and medical bills. In the document, Bryan also asked the rapper to be cited for contempt.

Nas, whose real name is Nasir Jones, and Bryan have a 19-year-old daughter, Destiny. The girl served as the inspiration behind Nas' song, "Daughters", in which he blames himself for not being more involved in her life.

The latest trailer for "Muppets Most Wanted" has arrived, showing fans' favorite puppets doing a musical number to a song called "We're Doing a Sequel". The gang sings self-mocking lyrics like "everybody knows the sequel is never quite as good" but "that's what we do in Hollywood."

"We're doing a sequel, there's no need to disguise. The studio considers a viable franchise," Kermit, Miss Piggy and their friends continues, before jokingly name-dropping Tom Hanks. "We're doing a sequel, the studio wants more while they wait for Tom Hanks to make 'Toy Story 4'."

Paramedics responded to her frantic call to their location in Venice, CA at 9 P.M. and found the friend passing out at the back seat of the car. The friend was treated at the hospital and was released hours later.

The first host of ABC's "The Dating Game" which debuted in 1965, Jim Lange, has passed away. He was 81. Lange died on Tuesday morning, February 25 at his home in Mill Valley, Calif., his wife Nancy told the Associated Press on Wednesday. He had a heart attack.

"Jim Lange was one of the great show hosts of television. Always in control, but with a soft enough hand to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable," said actor Willie Aames who appeared in an episode of the show in 1978, as quoted by TODAY.com.

The U.S. First Lady is booking a trip to Pawnee. NBC has announced that Michelle Obama is set to make a guest appearance in the one-hour season 6 finale of "Parks and Recreation" slated to air Thursday, April 24 at 8 P.M.

Mrs. Obama already filmed her scene in the episode titled "Moving Up" in late February in Miami where she celebrated investments in healthier out-of-school programs as part of her "Let's Move" initiative dedicated to solving the challenge of childhood obesity.
