Christoph Waltz Attached to 17th Century Movie 'Tulip Fever'

While there are many speculations on what movie Christoph Waltz will appear in next, a confirmation came from Berlin Film Festival. The two-time Oscar winner is attached to British movie "Tulip Fever" which is a passion project from producer Alison Owen.

Waltz will star opposite Dane DeHaan and Alicia Vikander in the 17th century movie directed by Justin Chadwick. The actor himself confirmed to THR of his involvement in the project but wouldn't reveal his role. He called the script for the movie "brilliant" and can't wait to start filming. Pre-production will begin in April this year.

Video of Justin Bieber Frisked by Booking Officer Surfaces

A video of Justin Bieber being frisked by a Miami police has surfaced online. The teenage singer was arrested late last month for DUI, drag racing and driving with invalid license.

Bieber was taken into custody on early morning of January 23 in Miami Beach, Fla. when he raced his Lamborghini in a residential area. He was booked into Miami Beach police station and was released later after posting $2,500 bail. While inside the station, Bieber voluntarily gave his urine sample for a test on alcohol level in his system as well as drugs consumption.

Carrie Underwood Hits NY Fashion Week for the First Time

From "American Idol" to big screen, Carrie Underwood made fashion runway her next stop. The "Before He Cheats" singer hit New York Fashion Week for the first time on Thursday, February 6 morning for Peter Som's runway show.

Underwood loves fashion but she hardly had time to attend shows. "I never seem to make it here. It always seems I'm at something like the Grammys or something like that," the multiple Grammy winner said.

David Ayer's action thriller "Sabotage" releases a new sneak peek through a restricted trailer. The red-band video highlights the violence in the film from a bloody, gruesome murder to a painful torture. F-bombs and some risky scenes that include boobs are also in it.

The film revolves around a team of Drug Enforcement Administration agents who is tasked for a drug bust. Arnold Schwarzenegger plays the leader of the elite DEA task force. After the money goes missing, his team members are mysteriously killed one by one.

Clint Eastwood Saves Man From Choking to Death

Clint Eastwood was a lifesaver at the volunteer dinner party taking place on the eve of the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am. The 83-year-old actor/director performed Heimlich maneuver on Steve John when he noticed the tournament director choking on a piece of cheese.

"Clint saved my life," John told Carmel Pine Cone, "We were just talking. A piece of cheese went in my mouth and suddenly I couldn't breathe." He added, "Clint came up behind me and he knew exactly what to do. He did the Heimlich maneuver and he lifted me right off the ground. He's strong!"

Weinstein Co. Explains 'Vampire Academy' Midnight Screening Cancellation

The midnight screening for "Vampire Academy", a movie based on Richelle Mead's YA novel of the same name, was canceled, much to the dismay and disappointment of the book's hardcore fans. Many ticket buyers were turned away on the spot when they showed up at the theaters where the screening was supposedly scheduled.

The Weinstein Company quickly addressed the issue in a statement, saying that they rarely, if ever, scheduled midnight shows on Thursday. TWC's Erik Lomis said as quoted by Deadline, "They were listed by mistake. The theaters were informed either Wednesday night or Thursday morning as we found out about them."

Miley Cyrus has teased her upcoming "Bangerz" tour with some photos taken during rehearsal. In one of the pictures shared via her Twitter, the former Disney star can be seen wearing a black crop top while sucking her thumb and straddling a giant hot dog.

In another photo, she is practicing choreography in front of a mirror. She is joined by several backing dancers and someone who's wearing a giant blue animal head, spiked collar and matching fur gloves. "#bangerztour rehearsals hoe!" she captioned the snap.

Leonardo DiCaprio has become the latest victim of red carpet prankster Vitalii Sediu. The Golden Globe-winning actor was arriving at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival in California when the Ukrainian TV reporter suddenly rushed towards him, hugged him in the waist and burried his face in DiCaprio's crotch.

The Jack Dawson of "Titanic" managed to keep a smile on his face while trying to free himself from the prankster. Security was able to seize Sediu after several seconds, but no arrest was made. DiCaprio then continued to walk through the crowd of screaming fans as if nothing had happened.

The mother of one wearing a swimsuit is seen standing on the edge of the yacht, while her rapper husband Jay-Z is counting down before signaling her to jump off with a yell, "Team turn up!" "Nice," he laughed and clapped when she emerged from the water.

There's also glimpse of Arya in a fight, Sansa enjoying the view outside King's Landing, Bran warging, people burning alive, and Cersei donning an unusual black dress. More epic battle scenes are previewed in the video.

The Russian police choir performed at the opening ceremony for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi on Friday, February 7. The members of the choir delivered an amazing rendition of Daft Punk's Grammy Award-winning song "Get Lucky".

They donned their formal uniform while taking the stage at the Fisht Olympic Stadium to sing the song and show off some bizarre and awkward choreography. They were led by a pair of vocalists who channeled their inner Pharrell Williams.

The fourth "Transporter" movie is in the works. The Hollywood Reporter learns that this project will be a reboot that is expected to kick off a new trilogy, but will not see Jason Statham reprising his tough guy role as driver/chauffeur Frank Martin.

Created by Luc Besson, the "Transporter" franchise began with the first film released in 2002. "The Transporter 2" followed in 2005, and "Transporter 3" arrived three years later. They grossed over $250 million worldwide combined.

A private funeral service for Philip Seymour Hoffman was held Friday, February 7, a day after the wake for the late actor took place. Family and friends gathered at St. Ignatius of Loyola church in Manhattan to say goodbye to the "Jack Goes Boating" director, who died February 2 of possible drug overdose.

Hoffman's longtime partner Mimi O'Donnell, who reportedly didn't live together with the actor when he died, was seen at the service with their children Cooper, 10, Tallulah 7, and Willa, 5. O'Donnell was seen comforting two of their children at one point. His mother Marilyn O'Connor was also there.

Pulitzer-winning poet Maxine Kumin has died. She passed away at the age of 88 on Thursday, February 6 at her home in Warner, New Hampshire. Her daughter Judith Kumin announced the sad news, saying that her mother's health had been declining since a year and a half ago.

Kumin was born in Philadelphia in 1925 and she graduated from Radcliffe College and lived for a while in Newton, Massachusetts. In the 1950s, she enrolled in a poetry writing course at the Boston Center for Adult Education where she met and befriended poet Anne Sexton who later committed suicide in 1974.

Directed by Nancy Meyers, the film will follow a retiree who decides to return to the work force and is forced to start as an intern. Robert De Niro is attached to play the intern, while Hathaway is expected to portray the owner of an Internet company who gets assigned him.

FOX is pulling the plug on "The X Factor (US)" after three seasons. The network announced the cancellation on Friday, February 7 as judge and creator Simon Cowell decided to return to the U.K. version of the singing competition.

Will Smith Won't Return for 'Independence Day' Sequel

It seems that "Independence Day" sequel will have to be made without Will Smith, Deadline learns. After going back and forth for a while, the actor reportedly decides he won't reprise his role as Captain Steven Hiller in the upcoming "ID Forever Part 1".

It doesn't mean that the sequel won't be made because Roland Emmerich already said he would take on the follow-up story with or without Smith. The director wrote two scripts in advance. One features the return of Captain Hiller and the other doesn't.
