Miranda Kerr Responds to Family's Public Plea for a Reunion

There has been a crack in Miranda Kerr's family and there is an effort to sew it back together. The supermodel's Australian family has sent her an emotional public plea to come home in a "love letter" exposed in an episode of Australian docudrama series "Family Confidential".

Kerr's family, her parents Therese and John, brother Matthew and nanna Ann, claimed they had not seen her or her son Flynn in over a year. "Miranda's life is so different now (and) she's surrounded by yes people all the time. It's so important for me to be real, to be true, to be who she needs me to be," said Therese who was fired by Miranda as the managing director of Kora skincare last year.

Oprah Winfrey will take her first stage role on Broadway in the Pulitzer Prize-winning play "Night, Mother". The casting news came from Winfrey's longtime associate Scott Sanders who will be among the producers.

Winfrey has been lauded by critics for her performance in "Lee Daniels' The Butler", but the talk show host has dreams of performing live on stage. "Oprah has had a longstanding desire to act on Broadway," Sanders told the New York Times.

Mamoru Samuragochi, who's been lauded as "Japanese Beethoven", rose to fame in the mid-1990s after he claimed that he composed hit symphonies despite being deaf. Now, Samuragochi has been exposed as a fraud after the ghostwriter whom he's been working with for nearly two decades revealed that the star didn't compose his own music.

According to Japanese media, a man named Takashi Niigaki issued a statement on Wednesday, February 5 in which he claimed to be the real composer of Samuragochi's hits. He said he'd worked for the 50-year-old musician for 18 years and got fed up when he decided to end their partnership last year.

Winfrey, who turned sixty years old earlier this month, could not help dancing a little to the catchy tune. The audience at the Arlington Theatre cheered for her. "My people! Kendrick Lamar and Pharrell Williams have been named as performers at this year's NBA All-Star Weekend. NBA announced on Thursday, February 6 that Lamar would perform during the Sprite Slam Dunk Contest on Saturday, February 15. He is slated to perform "an exclusive medley of smash hits from his critically acclaimed albums."

A remake of 2004's French action film "District 13", it will revolve around an undercover detective (Walker) traversing a deadly ghetto nicknamed "Brick Mansions" to uncover a WMD stolen by a vicious drug dealer (RZA). The film also stars parkour expert David Belle.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department has finished their investigation into an alleged egg attack which involves Justin Bieber. Sheriff's Lt. Dave Thompson told E! News on Thursday, February 6 that they had sent the case to the L.A. County District Attorney's Office. Now the investigators are waiting for the decision.

"We dropped the case off to the D.A. today. We did a search warrant and put a lot of work into it. Of course it's up to them... I want a felony filing. The kid needs to realize he can't do this," Thompson said. "Certainly we don't want [the D.A.] to reject it. We believe with the dollar amount and the evidence it deserves a felony filing."

Although the first "Guardians of the Galaxy" film will not arrive until August 1 this year, a sequel reportedly has already been mapped out. According to Joblo, Marvel has given "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" a vote of confidence and planned it for a 2016 release, possibly May 6.

Directed by James Gunn, the first movie stars Chris Pratt as Peter Quill/Star-Lord, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, and Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer. Vin Diesel and Bradley Cooper will voice Groot and Rocket Raccoon respectively, while Benicio Del Toro will return as The Collector.

Victoria's Secret model Doutzen Kroes announced her second pregnancy by debuting her baby bump in a photo. The Dutch model posted a nude black and white photo of herself on Instagram on Thursday, February 6.

"This is not a #throwbackthursday this is now! So happy to share with you that we are expecting," she captioned the photo. The 29-year-old covered her breasts with one hand and cradled her bump with the other. A representative of her told people that she is 16 weeks along and is due to give birth in late July.
