Celebs Slammed for Insensitive Comments on Philip Seymour Hoffman's Death

Many Hollywood celebrities paid tribute to the late Philip Seymour Hoffman on Twitter but not all of them shared kind words for the Oscar winner. "Supernatural" star Jared Padalecki is among celebs who went under fire for posting insensitive comments about the actor's February 2 sudden death.

" 'Sad' isn't the word I'd use to describe a 46-year-old man throwing his life away to drugs," Padalecki began in a tweet which was later deleted. " 'Senseless' is more like it. 'Stupid'." After some pushbacks and lashes from his followers, Padalecki was forced to clarify his statement.

Miley Cyrus went naked and transparent in the new Social Media issue of W magazine. The former child star, who hid her naked body with a white comforter on the mag's cover, confessed that she's not fond of children.

"I don't love kids," she told MSNBC's Ronan Farrow. "I don't love them because, I mean, I think I was around too many kids at one point - because I was around a lot of kids. They're so f**king mean. Sometimes I hear kids with their parents, and I want to go over and, like, smack them myself ...Like if they meet me, they'll be like, 'Mom, don't you know how to use an iPhone? Like, can you take the picture?' I'm like, 'Dude, if I ever talked to my mom like that when I was a kid, I would have had no phone, no computer, no TV, no anything.' And so, yeah, kids are just mean."

Philip Seymour Hoffman's Autopsy Conducted in New York

An autopsy to determine Philip Seymour Hoffman's cause of death will be conducted a day after the actor was found dead at his West Village apartment on Sunday, February 2. New York medical examiner office will make confirmation on whether he died of drug overdose.

According to law enforcement sources, Hoffman was found lying on the bathroom floor with a syringe in his left arm. Several bags of what appeared to be heroin were found scattered all over the apartment, some of them stamped with heroin street names "Ace of Hearts" and "Ace of Spades".

"The de-facto star of the potential series" is Ennis Roth, who is described as being "likeable, strong-willed, resolute, with a strong sense of justice." The son of a cop who grew up in poverty, he's seeking revenge for the death of someone close to him after meeting Sam and Dean and learning that Chicago is run by five families of monsters. An African-American actor in his early 20s will likely end up taking on the role.

Directed by Dawn Shadforth, the clip centers on the pop singer's relationship with her man, played by French actor Clement Sibony. She's seen getting intimate with her boyfriend in a bedroom before they apparently have a fight.

In another scene, Minogue dons a golden dress when she attends a party, where she sings and dances with other guests who are clad in formal attire. The video concludes with the couple making up and sharing a kiss.

Constantine is quite mischievous. The Kermit doppelganger hijacks the Super Bowl spot for "Muppets Most Wanted" while it showcases what fans across the internet have been saying about some of the "Muppets Most Wanted" commercials they have seen.

Halfway through showing various funny comments from Twitter, the video gets interrupted as a number of pop-up ads appear on screen. A picture of the villainous puppet pops up with a message which reads, "Your computer now belongs to Constantine."

U2 has debuted their new song entitled "Invisible" in an ad for Bank of America and Bono's (RED) which aired during the Super Bowl on Sunday, February 2. Directed by Mark Romanek, the 60-second black-and-white ad shows the Irish band performing the tune during a concert.

The track that features vocalist Bono singing "More than you know, I'm not invisible" was produced by Danger Mouse and is currently available for free download on iTunes. The song will be available on the site until Monday. (RED) will receive a $1 donation from Bank of America for every song downloaded.

Woody Allen Says Dylan Farrow's Sexual Assault Allegation Is 'Untrue'

A representative for Woody Allen has responded to sexual assault claim which was launched by his adoptive daughter Dylan Farrow in an open letter published on Saturday, February 1 on New York Post. His publicist Leslee Dart stated on Sunday that the claim was not true.

"Mr. Allen has read the article and found it untrue and disgraceful. He will be responding very soon," Dart said, as quoted by CNN. "At the time, a thorough investigation was conducted by court appointed independent experts. The experts concluded there was no credible evidence of molestation; that Dylan Farrow had an inability to distinguish between fantasy and reality; and that Dylan Farrow had likely been coached by her mother Mia Farrow. No charges were ever filed."

'Ride Along' Rules Super Bowl Weekend, Tops Box Office for Third Week

It was a quite week at domestic box office as all eyes are focusing on the big football game. Universal's "Ride Along", the cop comedy starring Kevin Hart and Ice Cube, takes the top spot for the third consecutive weekend. It rakes in another $12.3 million (42% decrease), pushing its domestic total of $93 million over the Super Bowl weekend.

The biggest debut this week is Focus Features' "That Awkward Moment" led by Zac Efron, Michael B. Jordan and Miles Teller. With a B grade from CinemaScore, the R-rated bromance indie comedy opens at No. 3, collecting an estimated $9 million, with 64% of audience female and 61% of ticket buyers under the age of 25.
