Prince Sues 22 Fans for Copyright Infringement

Prince made a shocking move by suing his die hard fans. The "Purple Rain" singer has taken a $22 million legal action against 22 people who posted bootleg version of his live performances on Facebook and blogs.

Prince, notorious for being litigious, is asking each of the 22 fans a million each. The court documents, which were filed earlier this month, said, "The defendants in this case engage in massive infringement and bootlegging of Prince's material." One fan on a major Prince fan forum wrote, "Doing things like this is making him lose more and more fans,"

A picture of Harry Styles' naked bum is now online. The One Direction member was photographed from behind peeing in a bush and giving a cheeky smile as he glanced sideways.

The picture surfaced on music producer Sir Mix-a-Lot's Twitter account on Sunday, January 26 but the original source is unknown. Styles tweeted, "Mix-A-Lot's in trouble". The producer then retweeted it and wrote, "@Harry_Styles is that really you? Nah."

There's a movement against Justin Bieber taking residency in United States after the pop star generated a lot of trouble in the country. A petition addressed to White House was signed by around 50,000 Americans including singer Drake Bell who has been at odds with Bieber for a long time.

The petition posted on White House website demanded that Biber's green card be revoked and the singer be sent back to Canada. His recent arrest on drag racing under influence is deemed "not only threatening the safety of our people, [but is also] a terrible influence on our nation's youth."

He works to solve a mathematical formula to discover the very purpose of existence or the lack thereof. However, it is only once he experiences the power of love and desire that he is able to understand his very reason for being.

" 'Zero Theorem' was more a reaction to the connected world," director Gilliam explains to IndieWire. "We all exist as part of the connection, we are a neuron in this bigger thing, can we disconnect? Can solitude be more interesting? I don't know if people know who they are unless they spend time alone...they only know reactions, tweets etc, not actual existences."

Justin Lin helps Fox develop "Toymageddon" movie. According to The Hollywood Reporter, it's a high-concept idea from Tariq Merhab, a manager at production and management firm Anonymous Content which is behind HBO's new crime series "True Detective".

The project is described as a live-action family adventure movie in the vein of "Jurassic Park" and "Ghostbusters". The plot details are still kept under tight wraps, but the upcoming pic is rumored to center around a toy factory that runs amok.

The "dark and gritty" show will "unflinchingly explore the dysfunction and glamour of the ballet world." It is created and executive produced by Moira Walley-Beckett, who was serving as a writer and producer on AMC's "Breaking Bad".

Akiva Goldsman Tapped to Polish Script for 'Divergent' Sequel

Akiva Goldsman has been hired to complete the script for "Divergent" sequel, "Insurgent", which is due in the U.S. on March 20, 2015. "The Da Vinci Code" writer is working on the screenplay based on the draft written by Brian Duffield.

Neil Burger who directed the first film will not return behind the lens for the second one due to scheduling conflicts. He, however, will continue to be part of the franchise as an executive producer. Search to find a new director for the sequel is still ongoing.

Legendary Folk Singer Pete Seeger Dies at 94

Legendary folk singer/songwriter Pete Seeger, who popularized "This Land Is Your Land" and "We Shall Overcome" among others, has passed away. Quoting his grandson Kitama Cahill Jackson, The Associated Press reports that Seeger passed away on Monday night, January 27. Seeger, who lived in Beacon, New York, died of natural causes at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital at the age of 94.

Seeger was born on May 3, 1919, to a musicologist father and violinist mother. His parents later got divorced. Young Seeger started playing Ukulele when attending Avon Old Farms, a private boarding school in Connecticut. He later was introduced to the five-string banjo during an outing to a square-dance festival in North Carolina with his father.

The casting rumor of "The Fantastic Four" reboot continues to grow as another actor is added to the mix. Movies.com reports "1600 Penn" star Josh Gad is eyed to play Ben Grimm a.k.a. The Thing portrayed by Michael Chiklis in the previous adaptation directed by Tim Story.

No official cast has been announced, but Miles Teller recently confirmed that he was testing for a role in the pic. He was linked to play Reed Richards a.k.a. Mr. Fantastic along with "Game of Thrones" stars Richard Madden and Kit Harington.

"A Long Way Down" new trailer has arrived for viewing pleasure ahead of its U.K. release date on March 21. Pierce Brosnan and Aaron Paul play two of the four strangers who hit the rock bottom. On New Year's Eve, they go to the top of a London skyscraper with the same intention to end their lives.

Brosnan portrays a once-beloved TV personality Martin Sharp, and Paul plays a musician turned pizza-delivery boy J.J. Along with the other two suicidal strangers played by actresses Toni Collette and Imogen Poots, they end up making a pact to stay alive and staying together until Valentine's Day at least.

Opera Version of 'Brokeback Mountain' to Play in Spain

"Brokeback Mountain" is getting a stage production. Based on Annie Proulx's short story, the doomed love story between two American cowboys is turned into an opera which is scheduled to premiere this coming Tuesday, January 28 in Madrid.

Proulx said she was ecstatic when composer Charles Wuorinen approached her to write the libretto. She believed the stage show "would give room, which the short story did not, and which the film was not particularly interested in doing," to explore the characters involved in the story.

According to Radar Online, the 19-year-old star kicked his friend out of his house following the arrest. "Justin's team is cleaning house. Lil Za is out and he's now living at a nearby hotel," a source claimed.

TMZ, however, reports that it was not the case. According to sources, Lil Za was spotted at the hotel when he was visiting his mother. Lil Za's mother flew from Texas to see her son following his drug-related arrest and she apparently opted for staying at the hotel instead of joining her son in Bieber's house.
