Grammys Misspelled Cory Monteith's Name During Tribute Segment

An error happened during tribute segment at the recent 56th annual Grammy Awards Sunday night, January 26. Cory Monteith's name was accidentally spelled wrong when the late "Glee" actor was remembered in the "In Memoriam" montage.

A fan wrote on Twitter, "Cory Monteith's name was spelled incorrectly. Someone's getting fired. #grammys." Another commented, "For the Grammys to misspell Cory Monteith's name was incredibly disrespectful." A third fan posted, "So the Grammy spelled Cory Monteith's last name wrong and I'm super pissed about it."

Macklemore Feels Bad for 'Robbing' Kendrick Lamar at Grammy Awards

Macklemore isn't all pleased after taking home four trophies from the 2014 Grammy Awards. It turns out the Seattle rapper is feeling bad for having beaten out Kendrick Lamar in four categories, thinking that Lamar should've won instead.

"You got robbed. I wanted you to win. You should have," the one-half of rap duo Macklemore & Ryan Lewis wrote in a text message that he sent to Lamar. He took a caption of the message and then posted it on his Instagram account.

Ed Sheeran Says He's Recorded 'Interesting' Rap Songs

Last year, Ed Sheeran was pictured hanging out with rapper The Game. Now, he reveals that he's recorded several rap songs with the MC. In an interview with MTV on the Grammy Awards red carpet, the British singer opened up about his project with The Game and called their collaborations "interesting."

"I've done a lot of rap songs of late and they're all quite interesting," he shared. "I've ended up on songs with some interesting people. There's one I can't really name just 'cause I think it'd be quite a surprise when it comes out but I did around 11 records with The Game, which is quite interesting."

Susan Boyle Applies for $10-an-Hour Job at Local Shop

Susan Boyle, who has multi-million dollar fortune from singing, reportedly has applied for a minimum wage job at a betting shop near her house. According to U.K.'s The Sun, Boyle inquired about the job at Ladbrokes in Blackburn, West Lothian on Thursday afternoon, January 23.

"Susan Boyle walked into the shop and inquired about the job advertised in our window. We were all in shock," said deputy shop manager David Corr. A customer who was in the shop added, "She explained she was really keen on working there and everyone knows who she is and that she lives nearby. The manager laughed at first. But it was clear she was being serious and they couldn't just dismiss her so gave her all the information."

Angelina Jolie Unleashes Groot-Like Army in 'Maleficent' New Trailer

A new trailer for Disney's "Maleficent" has been released during the live telecast of the 56th annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles. It contains some new footage including Angelina Jolie's witch character summoning tree- and grass-like monsters to face off the king's soldiers.

In addition to offering new footage, the trailer features a haunting soundtrack recorded by Lana Del Rey. Rumor has it, the "Summertime Sadness" hitmaker was handpicked by Jolie to sing "Once Upon a Time" from the 1959 original "Sleeping Beauty" film.

The four-part drama depicts Fleming as a charming and sophisticated maverick, whose pleasure-seeking life was turned around by WWII and led to the creation of the greatest spy the world has ever known.

Michelle Williams (II) has spoken up about Beyonce Knowles' self-titled album "Beyonce", which was released on iTunes without prior notice on December 13. The singer told Us Weekly that she wasn't comfortable with songs like "Drunk in Love", "Blow" and "Rocket" that she thought were too revealing.

"I love her new album. I think it's amazing!" Williams, who supported Beyonce and even appeared in the music video for her "Superpower", recently told the site at the 5th Annual Essence Black Women in Music Event in West Hollywood.

Former Actor and Marlboro Man Eric Lawson Dies of Lung Disease

Eric Lawson, a former actor who played a rugged man in a commercial for Marlboro in the 1970s, has passed away. He was 72. According to the Associated Press, Lawson died at his home in San Luis Obispo, California on January 10. His wife Susan Lawson said that the late star died of respiratory failure. Lawson suffered from a chronic obstructive pulmonary disease or COPD prior to his death.

Lawson was an actor who appeared on shows such as "Baretta" and "The Streets of San Francisco". In addition to the two titles, he appeared on "Charlie's Angels", ''Dynasty" and "Baywatch. He starred in the cigarette commercial between 1978 and 1981. Lawson retired from acting in 1997 after sustaining injuries on filming set.

Queen Latifah took the stage to officiate the weddings after Macklemore & Ryan Lewis performed "Same Love", which has become an anthem for same sex marriage advocates, joined by Mary Lambert. "This song is a love song, not for some of us, but for all of us," she said when introducing the rap duo's song.

Pharrell Williams' fashion style caught people's attention as he attended the 2014 Grammy Awards on Sunday, January 26. The star sported a Canadian Mountie-style fedora at the awards show, turning head with the unique choice. He additionally wore a red jacket and dark pants instead of a tuxedo.

Shortly after making appearance at the event, the hat got its own Twitter account which goes by @Pharrellhat. One of its first tweets was directed to the singer/producer. "We're killin em tonight," a tweet read. Another post read, "I could make u taller." The account also posted a digitally altered photo of Katy Perry and Taylor Swift wearing the hat.

Shia LaBeouf's proposal for a so-called performance art was unveiled, following claim that his recent acts of plagiarism were all intentional. The Hollywood Reporter got its hands on the proposal which revealed the actor's plan to do the show in Los Angeles.

The complete winner list at the 56th annual Grammy Awards has been revealed. At the Sunday, January 26 event which was hosted by LL Cool J, Daft Punk took home the prestigious title of Album of the Year with their work "Random Access Memories". The French duo defeated other strong contenders such as Sara Bareilles' "The Blessed Unrest", Kendrick Lamar's "Good Kid, M.A.A.D City", Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' "The Heist" as well as Taylor Swift's "Red".

Daft Punk received multiple awards that night, which included Record of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for "Get Lucky" as well as Album of the Year and Best Dance/Electronica Album for "Random Access Memories". The robot-masked duo did not say anything when receiving their trophies on stage, but Pharrell Williams spoke for them. "I bet France is really proud of these guys right now," he said while on stage receiving record of the year.

Alleged Intruder Arrested at Selena Gomez's House

A man was arrested over the weekend for allegedly trespassing on Selena Gomez's house. A member of the singer's family called police on Saturday, January 25 at around 9:34 A.M. after spotting a man on the property in the San Fernando Valley's Tarzana area.

Juan Daniel Garcia, the 19-year-old man from El Mirage, Arizona, was arrested and was taken into police custody shortly after they arrived on the scene. He told cops that he was at Gomez' house to see the former Disney star in person.

'Ride Along' Stays Strong at Box Office as 'I, Frankenstein' Flops

"Ride Along", a cop comedy starring Kevin Hart and Ice Cube, reigns domestic box office for a second consecutive weekend. The Universal release adds another $21.2 million, easily claiming the throne though the number is 49% less than last weekend's debut ($48.6 million) which marked the biggest opening for a January release. Costing around $25 million to produce, it is now pushing its domestic gross to $74.5 million.

It's a double victory for Universal as another of its feature films, "Lone Survivor", is unmoved from its last week's position at the second place. The true-story war pic led by Mark Wahlberg collects an estimated $12.6 million, grossing approximately $93.6 million nationally. Directed by Peter Berg, it is expected to move past $100 million soon.
