Questlove Apologizes for Racist Instagram Posts

The Roots' singer Questlove has apologized for offensive Instagram posts that mocked Japanese people. The "Late Night" band leader admitted in a Facebook post that his comments were "dumb" and did not intend to offend anyone.

While on tour with The Roots, Questlove wrote, "Hey @dawnenglehart is it racist for me to write the Sour Tlain? #chipanesedownunder2013" and then posted a video of a local woman with the caption "Ladies and gentlemen, they are talking in tongues". He was exchanging words with Asian music manager Englehart and India-born Padma Lakshmi.

Lil Twist Cleared Off Battery Case Against Woman

Lil Twist has been cleared off allegations that he attacked a woman at Justin Bieber's house. Deputies did not believe what the woman said and the fact that there was not enough evidence put the case to rest, TMZ reported. The case did not even go to prosecutors for evaluation.

Twist previously has denied that he roughed up a woman in August when she tried to walk out of Bieber's house party. The woman accused the rapper of grabbing her by the arm and blocking her exit. The woman reportedly drove straight to LA Sheriff's Department to report the battery.

Caroline Manzo's Dog Dies on Christmas

Caroline Manzo's family received sad news during the Christmas celebration. Their dog Austin, who had been sick for a while, died on Christmas day. The former star of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" took to Instagram to mourn the death of the beloved pet.

"RIP my beautiful little puppy, you were so loved. Santa has a new sidekick," Manzo wrote. She uploaded a photo of the cute Jack Russell terrier sitting on Santa's lap. Manzo's daughter Lauren also shared a photo of the dog a day before. "My little man, feel better baby," she pleaded in the caption.

Two television producers passed away earlier this week. Just a day after Jeffrey Ian Pollack was found dead on a beach, sad news came from British producer Allan McKeown who died on Tuesday, December 24.

Pollack, the director of "Booty Call" and a producer on "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air", was already deceased when he was found on the Greenbelt in Hermosa Beach, Calif., early on December 23 morning by an unidentified woman, who contacted police. The location, which is about 20 miles southwest of Los Angeles, is a jogging area in the Greenbelt.
