Robin Roberts Secretly Inked Long-Term Deal With ABC

ABC has Robin Roberts under their thumb at least for a few years to come. A report from Page Six said that the "Good Morning America" anchor has secretly inked a deal with the network to stay at the company for several years.

It was reportedly a friendly negotiation. Roberts, who took a six month absence of leave for a bone marrow transplant, "was extremely grateful for the kindness and love shown by everyone while she was sick. She made it clear to her reps that she wanted them to drive a fair deal but didn't want to create any kind of bidding war," a source said.

Former "Friday Night Lights" star Taylor Kitsch revealed that he recently broke up and it was not pretty. The actor told the sixth issue of Man of the World magazine that hockey was the cure to his heartbreak.

"Us Canadians, we find that sh*t," the 32-year-old actor said of driving to the Valley to play his favorite sport. At the time of the interview, he was staying at a beachside hotel in Santa Monica, California for a week of business meetings. He would go and play hockey at night during his stay.

Jennifer Lopez and her ex husband Marc Anthony are sued for allegedly ripping off someone else's concept of reality show. A man named John Jacobs filed a lawsuit in New York, claiming the couple stole his idea for "Q'Viva! The Chosen".

The Latin American talent show is produced by the ex-spouses and was premiered in March last year on FOX. Jacobs said in his lawsuit that he pitched in his show idea "Miami Beach: The Game" in 2007 and 2008 to Marc Anthony Productions and Lopez's Nuyorican Productions. His idea was to combine two well-known Latino celebrities who would travel in search of the next big superstar.

The official music video for Sean Paul's collaboration with Damian Marley, "Riot", has arrived online. The three-minute visuals gives glimpses at the two musicians laying their respective verses in an abandoned building before several people storm the building and cause disaster.

The video was shot in Miami by director Jon J, who has previously worked with Paul on his "Other Side of Love" clip. "I feel like this time was better because I believe he trusts my vision now, and it was definitely a bigger and more fun set for him to work on," he said of reuniting with Paul.

It looks like a reunion between Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise is happening. The Hollywood Reporter learns that the "World War Z" actor is in a new negotiation to star in "Go Like Hell", a movie about real-life rivalry between Ford and Ferrari.

Pitt was actually attached to star in the true-story drama when it was planned as a directing vehicle for Michael Mann in 2009. The movie now has a new crew with Joseph Kosinski ("Oblivion") serving as the helmer and Cruise landing one of the main roles.

Two months after putting out his debut solo album "My Name Is My Name", Pusha T reveals plan to work on a follow-up set. Speaking with Miss Info and a crowd of fans at New York City's SoHo Apple Store, the rapper said that he'd hit the recording studio with The Neptunes in early 2014.

"I don't know when I'm dropping the next one, but I can tell everybody January 2, me, [The Neptunes' Chad Hugo and Pharrell Williams] are going in the studio for 20 days," he said and added that the recording sessions would take place in Miami.

Lostprophets' Singer Ian Watkins Gets 35-Year Sentence for Child Sex Crimes

Rock singer Ian Watkins has received 35-year sentence for child sex offenses. During the Wednesday, December 13 court session, Watkins was sentenced to 29 years in jail by a British judge. He was also sentenced to six years of strict probation following his release.

Last month, the Lostprophets singer pleaded guilty to 13 charges of child sex crime which included attempted rape of a baby, sexually touching a 1-year-old child, encouraging a fan to abuse her child and making child pornography. His two female accomplices, the mothers of the children Watkins abused, were sentenced to 14 and 17 years.

Lionsgate Developing TV Series About 'Hatching Twitter'

After a movie about the creation of Facebook, now a story about the birth of Twitter is heading to the small screen. Lionsgate TV has acquired the rights to Nick Bilton's New York Times best-seller "Hatching Twitter: A True Story of Money, Power, Friendship, and Betrayal" which will be turned into a TV series.

"Twitter has transformed almost every aspect of our lives from politics to business to friendship, and I can't think of a more compelling story to adapt for television right now," says Lionsgate TV Group chairman Kevin Beggs. "Nick's book has all the elements of a great drama with its complex characters, high-stakes power struggles and betrayed friendships, and we're extremely fortunate to have Alli Shearmur on board as executive producer."

Twenty five films are added to National Film Registry of the Library of Congress this year. Disney's classic musical "Mary Poppins" based on P.L. Travers' children's book of the same name and Quentin Tarantino's cult hit "Pulp Fiction" starring John Travolta are among 2013's selections.

Spanning the period 1919-2002, the films named to the registry to be persevered as national cinematic treasures include Hollywood classics, documentaries, silent films, independent, and experimental motion pictures. This year's selections bring the number of films in the registry to 625.

Speed is blamed as the sole factor on Paul Walker's death. An unnamed law enforcement official with the knowledge of the investigation revealed that the Porsche driver, Walker's pal Roger Rodas, lost control of the car due to "speed, and speed alone."
