One of The Wanted's members is stepping out of the single lane to lead a married life. Siva Kaneswaran has announced that he has proposed to longtime girlfriend, shoe designer Nareesha McCaffrey, after six years of dating.

Telling Hello! magazine of the romantic proposal, Kaneswaran said he had bought the ring for quite sometime before seeing an opportunity during a surprise party for him. He found out that his girlfriend had arranged a family birthday party for him and he surprised her by turning it to an engagement party for her.

Victoria Justice is no longer together with actor boyfriend Ryan Rottman but she is not on the single market either. According to a report by Us Weekly, the Nickelodeon star has already dated someone else after her split from Rottman.

Justice and Rottman began dating in 2011. They were still seen together in February this year when they attended magician David Copperfield's show at MGM Grand. Us did not specify when they broke up. "It happened awhile ago," an insider told the magazine. "They are at different points in their life and both had been traveling. They've both moved on."

Cyrus' explicit stage act with Robin Thicke at MTV Video Music Awards in August was one of the year's most talked about cultural events, MTV said. The VMA duet on "We Can't Stop" and "Blurred Lines" was the most watched video on MTV websites while an artist site devoted to Cyrus had more visits than any other artist's.

'Hairspray' Director Adam Shankman Seeks Treatment in Rehab

Adam Shankman has followed in the footsteps of his "Hairspray" actor Zac Efron to enter rehab. On Monday, December 9, a representative for the director, producer, dancer, actor, and choreographer confirmed that he's "currently seeking treatment in a rehabilitation center."

"His friends and family support him and wish him well on his journey to recovery," the rep added, without mentioning reasons behind his decision to check into rehab. Just a day before, Shankman was still seen attending the Trevor Live L.A. event in Hollywood. He appeared to be in good spirit as posing with Adam Lambert and "Glee" stars Darren Criss and Jane Lynch in a photo he posted on Instagram.

Paris Hilton's brother Barron unexpectedly "refused" to assist police's investigation into an attack on him which reportedly was linked to Lindsay Lohan. Sgt. Bobby Hernandez of Miami Beach Police told New York Daily News on Monday, December 9, "We've had no cooperation from Mr. Hilton since he made the report."

"He didn't want anything to do with it. Since then, we haven't been able to get in touch with him. He hasn't called back to respond to numerous messages," the police officer added. "We are in standby mode until we get more information and speak to the victim himself. If the victim doesn't want to cooperate, it ends at that point."

A sequel to 2012's thriller "Jack Reacher" is officially in the works at Paramount and Skydance Productions. Tom Cruise will return to reprise his role as the titular tough guy. The studio is looking for new scribes since Christopher McQuarrie who directed and wrote the first film is focusing on "Mission: Impossible V".

The first film is based on Lee Child's 2005 novel "One Shot". The second one will be adapted from 2013's "Never Go Back", the eighteenth book in Child's Jack Reacher series. It follows the former military member returning to the headquarters of his old unit in Virginia and facing complications including a serious criminal offense.

NBC Plans Another Live Musical Production Following 'Sound of Music' Success

The Sundance Institute has just announced its premiere lineup, after previously revealing its competition, spotlight and midnight slates. At least seventeen most highly anticipated dramatic films of the coming year will get their world premieres at the annual film festival.

"The Raid 2: Berandal", a sequel to 2011's TIFF Midnight Madness winner "The Raid: Redemption", is among the lineup. Directed by Gareth Evans, it picks up where the first film left off. It follows Rama as he goes undercover and infiltrates the ranks of a ruthless Jakarta crime syndicate in order to protect his family and expose the corruption in his own police force.

Men Accused of Stealing Paul Walker's Car Roof Charged With Felony Grand Theft

Two men who allegedly stole a piece of Paul Walker's wrecked Porsche Carrera GT have been officially charged. Prosecutors announced on Monday, December 9 that the two men, 18-year-old Jameson Witty and 25-year-old Anthony Janow, were charged with one felony count of grand theft of personal property.

In addition to the felony charge, the Los Angeles County district attorney's office said that Witty and Janow were charged with misdemeanor counts of destroying evidence and resisting, obstructing and delaying a peace officer. If convicted, the two will spend up to 4 years and 6 months in jail.

'The Sound of Music' Star Eleanor Parker Dies at 91

Eleanor Parker, an Oscar-nominated actress who played Baroness Elsa Schrader in 1966's "The Sound of Music" starring Julie Andrews, has passed away. She was 91.

A family friend Richard Gale told the Associated Press that the actress died of pneumonia on Monday morning, December 9. Parker "passed away peacefully, surrounded by her children at a medical facility near her home in Palm Springs," Gale said.

Sandler who gets a reported $15 million paycheck per movie is considered the most overpaid actor. While "Grown Ups 2" did well with $246M gross against a budget of $80M, his other films "Jack and Jill" and "That's My Boy" were the opposite. He is estimated to return only $3.40 for every $1 paid.

Lamar Odom Gets 3 Years Probation After No Contest Plea

Through his lawyer, Lamar Odom changed his not guilty plea to no contest plea for his DUI case on Monday, December 9 in Superior Court in Van Nuys, California. After reaching a plea agreement, the basketball star got three years of probation and agreed to attend a three-month alcohol-education program.

Odom was arrested for driving under influence on August 30 morning. He was driving his white Mercedes SUV at 50 mph and was pulled over by California Highway Patrol officer. Odom showed "objective signs of intoxication" and was unable to perform sobriety test. He submitted no guilty plea two months ago before a Los Angeles County judge.
