China Wants a Sincere Apology From Jimmy Kimmel

China is not satisfied with Jimmy Kimmel's apology over the controversial skit featured on his talk show "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" last month. After two apologies from ABC and several others from Kimmel himself, China's Foreign Ministry has demanded a new one with more sincerity.

Kimmel landed in hot water after airing a skit in which he asked a kid how U.S. should resolve their huge debt to China. The child said, "Kill everyone in China". A number of protesters gathered outside the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood where the talk show is filmed to bash Kimmel and urge ABC to fire him.

Chris Brown assists Kid Ink in the up and coming rapper's music video for "Show Me". Not only Brown appeared as one of the party goers in a wild house party, he also put on the director's hat for the video that premiered on Vevo Monday, November 11.

There are two versions of the video. The first, which is on YouTube, comes with an extended intro of how Kid Ink and his friends passed out from smoking out of a giant vaporizer pen. The Vevo version cut it to Kid Ink waking up from an induced coma to find out that he was in the middle of a party. Brown meanwhile joined the party and got cozy with two ladies at one point.

Joe Wright Eyed to Direct New 'Peter Pan' Adaptation

Joe Wright is considering to direct Warner Bros.' "Peter Pan (2015)". According to Deadline, the British filmmaker, whose works include "Anna Karenina", "Atonement" and "Hanna", is currently in talks to bring the titular character created by J.M. Barrie to the big screen.

Plot details are still kept under the wraps, but the film will be an origin story that finds main character Peter being brought to Neverland. He will then lead the natives to rebel against the antagonist Captain Hook and his evil pirates.

Another comic by author Robert Kirkman is going to get a small-screen treatment. Cinemax has picked up "Outcast" based on his upcoming comic book and given a script commitment with large penalty to the project.

The comic and potential new series follows Kyle Barnes, a young man who has been plagued by possession since he was a child. Now an adult, he embarks on a spiritual journey to find answers, but what he uncovers could mean the end of life on Earth as we know it. The comic will debut in 2014.

FX Nabs Rights to 'Thor: The Dark World', 'Gravity' and More

FX has nabbed the commercial TV premiere rights to the latest box office hit, "Thor: The Dark World". The acquisition comes on the heels of the film's thunderous debut on the North American chart with $85.7 million in its first weekend.

The sequel to 2011's "Thor" which still stars Chris Hemsworth as the God of Thunder will be available on FX channels beginning in 2015. Critically-acclaimed and commercially successful "Gravity", potential Oscar contender "Captain Phillips", as well as "Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa", "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2" and "Prisoners" also land on FX.

Ylvis to Turn Viral Song 'The Fox' Into Children's Book

Ylvis has signed a picture book deal with Simon & Schuster Books for Young Readers. The Norwegian comedy duo will make a children's book based on their viral hit, "The Fox (What Does the Fox Say?)".

Simon & Schuster Children's Publishing president Jon Anderson negotiated the deal with the Creative Artists Agency. Authored by Ylvis with illustrations by Svein Nyhus, the 32-page book will cost $17.99. The book is scheduled to hit the shelves on December 10.

Patti LaBelle's bodyguard has been cleared in a 2011 confrontation with a drunken cadet, Richard King, at a Houston airport terminal. On Monday, November 11, a Harris County jury returned its verdict, acquitting Efrem Holmes of misdemeanor assault charge against him.

LaBelle and her son Zuri Edwards had previously testified in the trial for the case. In his testimony, Edwards said King was "intoxicated, loud, obnoxious" and launching racial epithets at his mother. He added that when he tried to block King's way, King punched him on the right side of his face.

A pretty elaborate opinion that George Clooney threw to his peers, Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe, was clarified by his publicist. While he claimed the comments about DiCaprio was misinterpreted, Clooney insisted that those about Crowe were "truth".

In Clooney's interview with Esquire, it appeared that he had subtly dissed DiCaprio by recalling the one time they played basketball in Cabo San Lucas. "The thing about playing [basketball against] Leo is you have all these guys talking sh**," Clooney said. He believed "that you don't talk sh** unless you can play." Clooney and his teammates beat DiCaprio and his friends "three straight: 11-0, 11-0, 11-0" despite their age difference.
