Original Series Based on Marvel Characters Being Developed

Disney and Netflix are teaming up to stream at least four original series based on Marvel characters such as Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and Luke Cage. These shows will start streaming in 2015.

In a joint announcement released Thursday, November 7, Disney and Netflix revealed that the four thirteen-episode series will culminate in a miniseries titled "The Defenders". Apt to its title, the miniseries "reimagines a dream team of self-sacrificing, heroic characters."

Eminem Equals The Beatles in Gaining Billboard Hot 100 Honor

Eminem makes a history in his music career as he catches up with The Beatles in having four simultaneous songs in the Top 20 of Billboard Hot 100 chart. His latest single "The Monster", which is featuring Rihanna, has debuted at number 3 in the chart, followed by "Bezerk", "Survival" and "Rap God" at number 15, 16, and 17 respectively.

The Beatles made a record in 1964, having six songs in the Top 20 for two weeks in April. Eminem may be the sixth act to ever place at least four songs in the Top 20 but he's the first artist since Beatles to chart as lead artist. The other acts like 50 Cent (2005), T-Pain (2007-08), Lil Wayne (2008) and Ludacris (2010) included featured billings.

Justin Bieber's recent stay in Brazil once again makes the headlines as a video surfaces on YouTube of him sleeping in a hotel room. The 15-second video showed a young man, believed to be Bieber, unaware that he was being filmed by a girl.

In the video, which authenticity is still questionable, Bieber is seen lying on bed sleeping with his signature red hat by his side. The girl who filmed him then took a brief shot of herself and blew him a kiss before leaving the room.

New Zealand-born singer Lorde is not interested in collaborating with David Guetta. In a recent interview with Australia's FasterLouder, the singer whose real name is Ella Yelich-O'Connor made it clear that she had no intention to work with the "gross" French DJ, who has created many hits with artists like Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, Kelly Rowland and Rihanna.

According to the site, Lorde's manager Scott Maclachlan told the 16-year-old singer that Guetta had expressed desire to feature her in his next studio album. "No," the Kiwi singer/songwriter replied. "F**k no. He's so gross."

'Goonies' Star Robert Davi's Wife Files for Divorce After 23 Years of Marriage

Robert Davi, who played Jake Fratelli in 1985's movie "The Goonies", is separating from his wife Christine Bolster. According to a TMZ report, Bolster has submitted documents in Los Angeles County Superior Court to legally end their marriage.

The documents cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason of their separation. According to the documents, Bolster wants legal and physical custody of their minor children, Isabella and Nicholas. Davi is allowed to make visitations.

On the talent side, a boy who declares to be a fan of Urban and a girl with a good sense of humor wow the judges during the auditions in Detroit. The judges get a good laugh when a contestant does a silly dance and Connick Jr. is accused of being harsh by another "Idol" hopeful.

A source told Radar Online of the meeting, saying that the "Jersey Shore" star bought many toys and clothes for his daughter. "He flew home early from Vegas and hasn't stopped talking about how she's the first girl to steal his heart. He's overjoyed!" the source said.

Earlier this month, Kanye West announced that he postponed his "Yeezus" tour indefinitely due to a truck accident that damaged the property of his concert. Now, the tour is set to resume with some dates being rescheduled and some others being canceled.

"The Yeezus Tour will resume its scheduled routing on Saturday, November 16th at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA," reads a statement posted on the rapper's website. "The Chicago, Toronto, and Detroit dates have been rescheduled."

"CONAN" lands in trouble over an old promo. The show is facing a $25,000 fine from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) for using emergency alert sounds in a 2012 promotional clip.

FCC has noticed the cable network about the fine for "the transmission of false distress signals," unless it can dissuade the commission within 30 days. FCC detailed that the video "used the emergency weather tones to gain attention for a commercial regarding Jack Black being on the show for April 26, 2012."

'The Raid 2: Berandal' Teaser Trailer: Iko Uwais Throws Mean Punches

The first taste at the sequel to bone-crunching film "The Raid: Redemption" has just landed online. In the teaser trailer of "The Raid 2: Berandal", Rama (Iko Uwais) lets out his frustration in his cell by repeatedly punching the wall. While he's attacking the concrete, flashes of scenes from outside the jail teases a handful of bigger action scenes from the bloody hand-to-hand combats to gang shoot-outs and car stunts.

Picking up where the 2011 film left off after a rundown apartment building in Jakarta was conquered, the sequel will follow Rama going undercover and infiltrating the ranks of a ruthless crime syndicate in the capital city of Indonesia to uncover the corruption in his own police force. The martial arts movie will be released sometime in 2014 with Sony Pictures and Stage 6 Films securing the distribution rights in North America.

Justin Bieber Investigated Over Graffiti in Brazil

Justin Bieber is under investigation over allegation that he sprayed graffiti on a wall when he was in Brazil. As quoted by Associated Press, O Globo newspaper reports that photographers took photos of him and his entourage spray-painting a wall outside a hotel at Sao Conrado neighborhood in Rio de Janeiro on Tuesday morning, November 5.

According to the newspaper, the police went to Bieber's rented mansion to ask about the matter, but he was not in the building. In Brazil, defacing buildings is crime. Offenders may spend up to one year in jail and pay a fine. In a statement, a spokesperson for the police said that they had interviewed Bieber's representative and were gathering more details of the alleged incident. Bieber reportedly already left Brazil on Wednesday afternoon for a show in Asuncion, Paraguay.

Lady GaGa has decided that her next big performance will be held in outer space. According to Us Weekly, the Mother Monster is set to blast off in a Virgin Galactic spaceship and perform one song during the Zero G Colony high-tech musical festival in 2015.

Zero G Colony is a three-day music festival that will take place at Spaceport America in New Mexico. GaGa's performance in space will take place on the third day at dawn, six months after the first Virgin Galactic commercial flight.

Akiva Goldsman's directorial debut "Winter's Tale" releases its first trailer. It previews a love story set in the early 1900s between a thief named Peter Lake and a dying girl, Beverly Penn, who lives in one of the houses he attempted to rob. Colin Farrell and Jessica Brown Findlay play the on-screen couple.

While caught up in a doomed relationship with the girl of his dreams, Peter has to constantly dodge a gangster named Pearly Soames (Russell Crowe) and his gang of thugs. Halfway through the trailer, it shows the robber mysteriously sent to the present day of Manhattan where he can't even remember his own name.

A Disney executive accidentally posted a tweet which seemed to give a hint at when "Star Wars Episode 7" would be released. "Saw today some awesome first features/plans of new Star Wars 7 movie coming end 2015," wrote Dennis Barbie, the director of retail for Disney in the Netherlands, as quoted by The Hollywood Reporter.

Barbie added, "At this moment [release] is planned for end of CY15 but in the entertainment business you will never know. Might be some changes there." Judge Says Charlie Sheen Will Go to Jail If He Violates Gag Order

Sources told TMZ that the judge was upset and told him, "Don't forget, I'm Italian!" at one point. In the court session, the judge issued a temporary restraining order against the "Anger Management" star, ordering him to stay at least 200 yards from Mueller. He was also not allowed to contact Mueller, to which he reportedly replied, "Thank you."

The series is written by multi-Eisner nominated novelist G. Willow Wilson ("Air", "Alif the Unseen") and illustrated by Adrian Alphona ("Runaways", "Uncanny X-Force").

Slated to launch in February 2014, it will follow Kamala as a young girl from New Jersey who discovers extraordinary body-morphing powers. She decides to follow in the footsteps of her idol, Captain Marvel a.k.a. Carol Danvers, and take the name Carol used in her early superhero career to become the new Ms. Marvel.

Arcade Fire has their newest album, "Reflektor", landed at No. 1 on Billboard 200. Nielsen SoundScan reports that the Canadian rock band's fourth studio album has sold 140,000 copies in its first week.

"Reflektor" marks the band's second No. 1 album. Win Butler and his bandmates previously entered the chart's top slot with the album's predecessor, 2010's "The Suburbs", which opened with 156,000 copies.
