Russell Brand Urges People Not to Vote

Russell Brand talks about his political view in a recent interview with BBC Newsnight. The comedian and BBC's Jeremy Paxman initially discussed Brand's role as a guest editor for New Statesmen, but the conversation later changed its direction to his political view.

According to Brand, political system in many countries failed to serve the people, adding that he had never voted in his life. "It's not that I'm not voting out of apathy. I'm not voting out of absolute indifference and weariness and exhaustion from the lies, treachery and deceit from the political class that's been going on for generations now," he said.

'Transformers 4' Filming Hit With Second Extortion Attempt

Following last week's assault on director Michael Bay, a second extortion attempt has come to the ongoing production of the fourth installment of the "Transformers" film franchise, "Transformers: Age of Extinction". A crew member working on the Kowloon set of the movie was approached by four men, believed to have links with the Chinese triad, who "intimidated her and asked for money."

After she called the local police to report the incident, one of the four extortionists, a 35-year-old man, was arrested, with the other three still being pursued by the authorities. Apparently, extortions on Hollywood film productions in Hong Kong are common, although more often they usually involve residents making annoying noises to disrupt the shooting.

After two previously called-off engagements, one with rocker Marilyn Manson and then with director Robert Rodriguez, "Charmed" star Rose McGowan finally married her third fiance, artist Davey Detail last October 12 in Los Angeles. After tweeting, "Hell to the yeah! I'm a Mrs.! What?!AWESOME! Love to you all!!!!!" on her wedding day, the 40-year-old actress shared her wedding photos to her fans via her Instagram account on Thursday, October 24.

"Wedding pic!I designed this Chuppa out of amaranth & roses. Best day ever!," McGowan captioned the first photo. Wearing an elegant white strapless Monique Lhullier wedding gown, the bride looked lovely as she exchanged a kiss with her groom under a canopy of the bright pink blooms.

Nicky Romero and Krewella have dropped the visuals for their collaboration, "Legacy". The clip follows a boy who figures out how uncomfortable his mother is with her cancer diagnosis. She has to shave her head due to the illness, therefore she feels ashamed to go to her workplace without a wig.

The boy later comes up with an idea to help her mother feel better. He is joined by his friends to find his mother's co-workers and forcefully shave their heads. When the mother arrives at her office and sees her hairless friends, she becomes more confident with her condition.

"After six years together, they have recently decided to formalize their separation," the statement reads further. "Despite this being the end of their marriage, they love, support and respect each other as both parents of their son and as family."

This time, her explosive photos continue to come out, taken by photographer Herman Kulkens and not recently but decades ago, in 1977 to be precise.

Back then, Madonna was an 18-year-old University of Michigan dance student who posed nude for $10 an hour for Kulkens. Among the resulting images that are now up for auction include a colored shot of the teenaged Madonna wearing a man's striped shirt and a loosely-hanging burgundy tie as she held up a pair of glasses to her parted lips.

In a momentary lapse, five-time Grammy Award-winner James Taylor thought he was singing "America the Beautiful" at the Thursday night, October 24 Game 2 of the World Series at Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts. But the 65-year-old musician, quickly realizing just after dropping the first two words of the patriotic song, effortlessly transitioned to the opening line of the national anthem "The Star-Spangled Banner" which he was supposed to deliver at that time.

Perhaps the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee just got briefly confused between which song was up, since he was also set to perform "America the Beautiful" during the 7th-inning stretch. But after remembering that it was only the start of the game, he immediately corrected himself and changed to the national anthem.

'Homeland' Star Morena Baccarin Welcomes First Baby

Emmy-nominated actress Morena Baccarin and her director husband Austin Chick welcomed their first child on Tuesday, October 22, in Glendale, California. Baby boy Julius, who weighed just a little under eight pounds, came via natural delivery despite being a breech baby, which was considered more risky to both mother and child with the baby coming out feet first instead of the usual head-first position.

The delivery was successfully done at the Glendale Adventist Medical Center thanks to Dr. Ronald Wu, the only doctor in the area to specialize in such cases. "I'm so happy I was able to deliver with Dr. Wu. Breech delivery is a dying art and he gave me the birth experience I wanted," the "Homeland" star and new mom said about her big day at the hospital.

Report: Michael Morris Kicked Out of House by Wife After Caught Kissing Katharine McPhee
