'Happy Gilmore' Star Christopher McDonald Arrested for DWI

For having registered a blood alcohol level of 0.15 on a breathalyzer or almost double the legal limit in the area, actor Christopher McDonald was arrested on Wednesday, October 16 in Wilmington, North Carolina. The 58-year-old, who played Shooter McGavin in Adam Sandler's 1996 flick "Happy Gilmore", was in town filming for a new movie entitled "The Squeeze".

McDonald was flagged down by the North Carolina Highway Patrol at 1:45 A.M. on Wilmington's Third Street and was taken into custody when he failed the breath test, reportedly a few hours after he was spotted in a bar in Wrightsville Beach. He was released that same morning at 7:20 A.M. on a $1,000 bail but must appear for a December 11 court date.

Robbie Williams has dropped the new music video for his single, "Go Gentle". Sporting slicked back hair and dressing up in a dark blue marine officer's uniform in the clip, the British singer plays the captain of a boat that's cruising down the streets in Los Angeles.

In addition to causing traffic jam, the boat draws the attention of people nearby. Williams is then seen hitting the road while being accompanied by a band, whose members are dressed as sailors.

Jonas Brothers Deactivate Twitter Account

Following the cancellation of their previously announced fall tour last week, the Jonas Brothers have fanned the flames of rumor regarding their disbandment when they deactivated their Twitter account. They have apparently deleted their official group account @JonasBrothers, with an attempt to access the said page yielding a "Sorry, that page doesn't exist" message.

Brothers Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas and Nick Jonas were supposed to have kicked off their tour this past Friday, October 11 in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania's Tower Theatre but a major argument regarding the direction of the group in terms of where their music was headed sparked the cancellation of the entire 19-date itinerary. As their spokesperson Jesse Derris revealed, currently "there is a deep rift within the band."

Lady GaGa has teamed up with Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter R. Kelly and she is giving everyone a sneak peek of the track via a new commercial for Beats Studio headphones and Best Buy. The new song is called "Do What U Want" and it appears in GaGa's forthcoming "ARTPOP" album, arriving on November 11.

"Do what you want, don't stop, let's party/ Do what you want, what you want with my body," GaGa kicks off the music for the 30-second TV ad. Meanwhile, Kelly reciprocates her vocals with, "Takin' these haters and we roughin' 'em up and we lay in the cut like we don't give a...," before the clip cuts to a store staff attending to a customer as he tries on the new rechargeable and noise-canceling headphones.

Beyonce Knowles is reportedly planning a big surprise. Multiple insiders told New York Daily News that the 32-year-old singer would be dropping a new single on December 3, on the same day Britney Spears' "Britney Jean" arrives, and several weeks after Lady GaGa and Katy Perry release their respective albums.

"Many in the industry have gotten intel that Beyonce will put out a single in the fourth quarter, some time from late November to early December," the insiders said. "It's an official single and it's timed perfectly to push out all the others. It will be out before the end of the year."

The "Applause" singer, who apparently finds the e-mail amusing, wrote in a Twitter post, "OMG at this e-mail INSTAGRAM just sent me... what the actual hell. hahahaha." She also shared a screengrab of the e-mail which read, "Members of the Instagram community have raised concerns for your well-being after seeing posts you've shared. We're reaching out to provide you with some important safety information."

A brand new clip for "Thor: The Dark World" is released to usher the upcoming premiere on November 8. While the previous clip showed Malekith awaken from his slumber, this new one features the titular God of Thunder lending his fellow Asgardians a helping hand in the battle.

The video opens with Sif (Jaimie Alexander) and Volstagg (Ray Stevenson) fending off a large crowd of enemies in the battlefield. And Thor (Chris Hemsworth) arrives just in time, making a grand entrance in his typical fashion with the help from his trusty hammer Mjolnir.

Timbaland's Wife Monique Mosley Files for Divorce

After ten years together, five of which were spent as a married couple, Timbaland's wife Monique Mosley has filed for divorce from the record producer. Claiming that she is dead broke, Mosley wants her hit maker husband, who's reportedly worth $80 million, to pay for everything, including child support for a kid he did not father.

In the divorce documents she filed with the court, Mosley is asking for child support for her and Timbaland's 5-year-old daughter Reign as well as for her 10-year-old child from a previous relationship. Mosley argues that Timbaland has "publicly and privately proclaimed this child as his own," making him the father by default.

Fox Searchlight books a March 7, 2014 release date for Wes Anderson's new movie "The Grand Budapest Hotel". The first trailer for the comedy drama starring "Harry Potter" star Ralph Fiennes and "Atonement" actress Saoirse Ronan is scheduled to be released Thursday, October 17.

Set in the 1920s, the movie will revolve around Gustave, a legendary concierge at a famous European hotel, who embarks on a friendship with lobby boy Zero Moustafa and takes his junior under his wing. Fiennes plays the older employee, while Tony Revolori will portray his young protege.

A first trailer for new movie "Non-Stop" has been released, featuring Liam Neeson as a U.S. marshal named Bill Marks who is onboard a hijacked plane. He's trying to stop the mysterious criminal from killing the passengers, but a shocking finding leads him to being accused as the person responsible for the hijacking.

The story starts when Marks receives a series of anonymous threatening messages stating that a passenger will be killed every 20 minutes until $150 million are transferred into a secret bank account. As the search to find the hijacker begins, everyone on the plane is turned against him as they learn that the bank account is in his own name.

Character Actor Ed Lauter Dies at 74

Veteran character actor Ed Lauter, who played the butler/chauffeur in 2011's movie "The Artist", passed away on Wednesday, October 16. He was 74.

Citing Lauter's publicist Edward Lozzi, The Associated Press reports that the actor died because of mesothelioma, a rare form of cancer which is commonly caused by asbestos exposure. Lauter found out that he contracted the disease in May.
