Casey Kasem's Children Protest Stepmom for Being Banned From Seeing Ailing Father

For fear over his deteriorating health condition, children, siblings and friends of 81-year-old radio personality Casey Kasem staged a protest outside of his home in Los Angeles. The protest is against Kasem's wife, actress Jean Thompson, who has reportedly been keeping the voice actor from his family despite his being stricken with Parkinson's disease.

His daughter Kerri from his first marriage to Linda Myers said her stepmom would not take their calls and would turn away her siblings Mike and Julie when they would drop by to attempt to see their father. "He can't really speak, but he knows we're there. And last time we saw him, he could shuffle a little bit. He had a hard, very hard, time walking. He was just deteriorating due to Parkinson's disease," said Kerri.

'Dexter' Star Colin Hanks Heads to FX's 'Fargo'

Colin Hanks has booked a trip to "Fargo", an FX limited series based on the Coen brothers' 1996 crime film. The "Orange County" actor is cast as Duluth Police Deputy Gus Grimly, a single dad who must choose between his own personal safety and his duty as a policeman when he comes face-to-face with a killer.

The upcoming 10-episode drama will feature an all-new "true crime" story, with the series following a new case and new characters, all entrenched in the trademark humor, murder and "Minnesota nice" that has made the film an enduring classic.

Marc Jacobs Leaves Louis Vuitton After 16 Years

Designer Marc Jacobs is going to leave his position as creative director at Louis Vuitton to concentrate on his own label. Jacobs has been working with LVMH, the owner of luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton and Moet & Chandon, for 16 years.

According to Women's Wear Daily, Jacobs leaves the position because he wants to focus on an IPO for his Marc Jacobs brand. Jacobs, LVMH and a business partner jointly own Marc Jacobs label. The offering reportedly will take place in three years.

Stewart revealed a black bra and white underwear shorts over a black thong as she waded into the shallow waters. The popularity of "Breaking Bad" has helped resurrect British band Badfinger. The AMC hit series, whose final episode on Sunday night, September 29 drew more than 10 million viewers, was brought to a close with the band's 1972 classic called "Baby Blue".

Now, the song has risen nearly 3,000% in sales gains. Billboard reported that the song sold 5,000 copies on iTunes just hours after the official episode aired. It then briefly rose into the top 25 on iTunes' top songs list. Streams on online music service Spotify also jumped 9000%.

Thriller Author Tom Clancy Dies at 66

Author Tom Clancy, who is popular for his novels such as "The Hunt for Red October" and "Patriot Games", has passed away. The military novel author died at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore at the age of 66. According to Baltimore Sun, Clancy suffered from a brief illness prior to his death. The sad news was confirmed by Clancy's publisher Putnam.

"It was an honor to know Tom Clancy and to work on his fantastic books," president and publisher of Putnam, Ivan Held, said in a statement. "He was ahead of the news curve and sometimes frighteningly prescient. To publish a Tom Clancy book was a thrill every time. Jury: AEG Live Not Liable in Michael Jackson's Death

A jury decided on Wednesday, October 2 that Michael Jackson's concert promoter AEG Live was not liable in the death of the singer. Jackson's mother Katherine previously alleged that the promoter contributed to her son's death by hiring Dr. Conrad Murray who was unfit for his work. The jury determined that AEG Live did hire Murray but the doctor was not unfit or incompetent to do his job.

"The jury's decision completely vindicates AEG Live, confirming what we have known from the start - that although Michael Jackson's death was a terrible tragedy, it was not a tragedy of AEG Live's making," AEG Live's attorney, Marvin Putnam, said as quoted by E! News after the verdict was read.

"Ted 2" has locked a new release date. Initially aiming for an April 2015 release, the sequel to the 2012 R-rated comedy about the titular foul-mouthed yet lovable teddy bear is now slated to arrive in theaters across North America on June 26.

"Wilfred" will end after four seasons. The Elijah Wood and Jason Gann starrer has been renewed for a fourth and final season that will consist of 10, less than its usual 13-episode order. The show, which debuted on FX in 2011, will also move to FXX for its final run.

Cory Monteith's overdose was detailed in a new report released by the British Columbia coroner's office on Wednesday, October 2. After confirming in an initial report that "a mixed drug toxicity, involving heroin and alcohol" had killed the "Glee" star, the coroner's office now sheds some light on what happened on the night before the actor died.

It's unveiled that the late star used heroin and drank glasses of champagne on the ill-fated night in his Vancouver Fairmont Pacific Rim hotel room. "Investigators at the scene found drug paraphernalia, including a spoon with drug residue and a used hypodermic needle, along with two empty champagne bottles and glasses," the report revealed.
