Demi Lovato to Release Inspirational Book 'Staying Strong'

Demi Lovato has revealed that she had troubled past as a teenager. The singer, who battled drug addiction and depression at young age, apparently wants to help her fans who experience difficulties in life with her new book called "Staying Strong".

Publisher McMillan announced on Monday, September 9 that Demi signed a deal with the company to launch two books. The first one "Staying Strong: 365 Days a Year" will be released on November and the other one is a memoir which will be released later. "Staying Strong" is a collection of inspirational quotes from the "Heart Attack" singer's tweets.

'Supernatural' Debuts Five-Minute Sneak Peek of Season 9

A month shy of its season 9 premiere, "Supernatural" has released a five-minute sneak peek to tease fans about what's coming in the next chapter. Appearing in between scenes from the show, executive producer Jeremy Carver says the Winchester brothers will have a fallout following their big decision in the season 8 finale.

The upcoming installment will also take a look at the very early days of Men of Letters. Co-executive producer Robert Singer says that Dean and Sam will find new rooms that they didn't know before in the bunker, and reveal that the boys perceive the place differently.

Mario Lopez and his wife Courtney Mazza have welcomed their second child. Mazza gave birth to a baby boy on Monday night, September 9. The couple named their son Dominic Lopez.

Lopez took to Twitter to announce the arrival of his second child. "It's a boy!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please welcome Dominic Lopez to the world! Couldn't be happier... @CourtneyMLopez & baby are doing just fine... :)," he wrote. Baby Dominic joins his big sister Gia Francesca who turns 3 years old on Wednesday.

Cher and Ed Sheeran Join 'The Voice' as Mentors

Four more music greats are going to share their wisdom on "The Voice". The Goddess of Pop Cher and three younger stars, Ed Sheeran, Ryan Tedder and Miguel, have signed up to appear in the upcoming fifth season of the singing competition show as mentors.

"Believe" songstress Cher will team up with coach Blake Shelton. British star Sheeran will lend a helping hand to Christina Aguilera's team. OneRepublic's frontman Tedder will mentor Adam Levine's team, while "Adorn" hitmaker Miguel will team up with coach Cee-Lo Green.

"I've done some topless photo shoots before but never completely nude. It was very sexy and I like that. At first I thought, 'Okay, let's just do topless' ... but, again, my wife and her friends were like, 'No way... go all the way.' I think we definitely pushed the envelope," he says.

Bill Condon has just revealed that he created a supercut of "The Twilight Saga's Breaking Dawn Part I" and "The Twilight Saga's Breaking Dawn Part II". Met at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival where he promoted his upcoming movie "The Fifth Estate", the helmer said he combined the last two installments of the "Twilight" film series into one movie.

"Well, I think we did so much for the extended edition of ['Breaking Dawn Part 1'], I think there's probably extra stuff on ['Breaking Dawn Part 2'], although not additional scenes, unfortunately," he said when asked about his contribution to a "Twilight" box-set coming out later this year, "because that movie is so unbelievably visual effects heavy, it would cost a ton of money to actually create the environment for some of those extra scenes."

Michael Jackson Wrongful Death Lawsuit Against AEG Execs Thrown Out

The legal fight that Katherine Jackson and her grandchildren have put up for Michael Jackson's wrongful death has suffered a blow on Monday, September 9 when the L.A. court judge dismissed the negligence lawsuit against the two executives who were sued along with their employer, concert promoter AEG Live. The ruling left the company as the only remaining defendant in the case now possibly nearing its culmination.

AEG CEO Randy Phillips and head honcho Paul Gongaware were sued for allegedly hiring Dr. Conrad Murray, the King of Pop's personal physician at the time of his death four years ago who was consequently sentenced to four years in prison for involuntary manslaughter. Judge Yvette Palazuelos said Jackson lawyers failed to prove that the two AEG executives "control, direct or perpetrate" MJ's drug use that ultimately took its toll on his unstable health leading to his death.

On his ABC show Monday night, September 9, the comedian admitted that he's the mastermind behind the prank, which sees a woman catching fire after falling when twerking upside down.

Kimmel initially invited the girl, known as Caitlin Heller, to be a guest and said he got the full unedited version of the video, which shows what happens after the twerk fail. As it turns out, the "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" host is the one who comes to the girl's rescue and extinguishes the fire on her pants.

James Bond's 'Spy Who Loved Me' Submarine Car Sold at Auction in London

A white Lotus Esprit used by Roger Moore to film an underwater scene for 1977's James Bond movie "Spy Who Loved Me" has been sold at RM Auction that ran live on the Internet Monday, September 9. Bidding started at £100,000 and the car eventually went under the hammer for £550,000 or $864,600.

It was less than the initial estimation of between £650,000 and £950,000, perhaps because the custom car cannot be driven on the road, although it is said to be a fully operational submarine. The highest price for an ex-007 car was set in 2010, when the Aston Martin DB5 used in Sean Connery-starring "Goldfinger" was sold for £2.9 million.

Katherine Heigl's comeback TV project lands at NBC. The Peacock nabs the untitled drama, which was eyed by other networks, with a put pilot commitment. 'Ant-Man' Moved Up From November to July 2015 Release

"Ant-Man" is coming to theaters five months early than the original schedule. On Monday, September 9, it was announced that the latest installment of the Marvel Superhero Cinematic Universe had been moved up for a summer 2015 release. It was originally due November 6, but is now planned for July 31.

It means that "Ant-Man" will be released just two weeks after "Man of Steel 2", from rival company DC Comics, is out. The sequel to "Man of Steel" which will explore Batman vs. Superman crossover is set for July 17. Henry Cavill will be back as the titular hero, and Ben Affleck is cast as the Dark Knight.

Jane Lynch's Estranged Wife Asks Almost $94,000 a Month for Spousal Support

Actress Jane Lynch apparently agrees to pay $93,809 per month in spousal support. The "Glee" star filed for divorce from his wife, Dr. Lara Embry, in July and now the therapist is seeking spousal support from her. Although the couple does not have children together, Embry has a daughter.

According to documents obtained by E! News, Embry lists her expenses such as mortgage, home maintenance and an "unknown" section. In addition, Embry states that monthly expenses include $12,000 for entertainment, gifts and vacation; $6,500 for clothes; $5,000 for charitable contributions; $4,500 for dining out; $4,000 for education and $1,500 for child care. Embry also requests support for attorney fees.

Robin Quivers 'Cured' of Cancer After One Year Battle

Robin Quivers revealed that she had been battling cancer for 15 months. Quivers announced during Howard Stern's show on XM Sirius radio on Monday, September 9 that doctors found the cancer in the endometrial tissue in her uterus and she underwent various treatment to fight the disease. Thankfully, her doctors said three months ago that she was "cured."

"It was so huge that it was lying on all the organs in my pelvis, and they literally had to scrape it off when they got to it," Quivers told listeners of her surgery which took place in May, as quoted by Us Weekly. "They couldn't even figure out how to operate at one point because it was so massive," she explained, adding that the surgery took 12 hours.

Jeff Shell, a longtime TV exec in the studio parent's company ComCast Corp., has been named a new Chairman of Universal Filmed Entertainment Group. In his new role, he will oversee worldwide operations for the motion picture group including its global theatrical and home entertainment businesses.

Ron Meyer, who has been in charge of the film and theme park operations as a COO of Universal Studios for 18 years, is transitioned to become the only Vice Chairman of NBCUniversal. His contract with the company was previously signed to expire in 2015 but now has been renewed to extend through 2017.
