Jimmy Fallon Reveals His Baby Daughter Was Born Via Surrogate

Two weeks after welcoming his and wife Nancy's baby daughter Winnie Rose, late-night talk show host Jimmy Fallon opened up about having their new child born via a surrogate after struggling with fertility problems. The big reveal was made by the 38-year-old comedian during an interview on "Today".

"It wasn't really a secret, but my wife and I had been trying for awhile to have a baby. We've tried a bunch of different things, so we had a surrogate," Fallon said. The couple had apparently decided to keep the pregnancy news to themselves for awhile until they were officially first-time parents before they shared it with family and friends.

Newly-Engaged Ashley Tisdale Flashes New Ring

"High School Musical" star Ashley Tisdale has just gotten engaged to her boyfriend, musician and Annie Automatic rocker Christopher French. The 28-year-old actress happily wore her precious engagement ring on her left hand as she strolled around the streets of New York today with her fiance, a day after their apparent romantic proposal right on the Empire State Building's VIP only 103rd floor.

"Best night of my life. We're on top of the world," Tisdale wrote on Twitter on August 8. The following day, she's beaming as she stepped out with French for a fun day of shopping which she revealed by tweeting, "Excited to run around and have a shopping day in nyc!! Woo hoo!"

Miley Cyrus Enlists Big Sean and Ludacris for New Album 'Bangerz'

Miley Cyrus has revealed that some big names are going to be featured in her highly-anticipated new album, "Bangerz". During a chat with MTV on the set of her VMA promo shoot, the 20-year-old singer said that she had worked with Big Sean and Ludacris among other names.

"I have a lot of features on my record," Miley told the site. "Big Sean and Ludacris and, of course, [Pharrell Williams] has done a bunch of my records, so I'm really excited about that." She also expressed her excitement to be able to work with rapper Future.

Katherine Heigl Plans TV Return With CIA Drama

Katherine Heigl is plotting her way back to TV. Deadline reports that the actress is set to star on a new CIA drama which has been shopped aroud and has gained interest from some networks.

If the news is indeed true, Heigl who is best known for her role as Isobel "Izzie" Stevens on "Grey's Anatomy" will be seen playing an adviser/communications liaison for the U.S. president on the procedural show, which centers on how the CIA handles hotspots around the globe.

'The Pirate Fairy' Debuts Teaser Trailer, Casts Christina Hendricks and Tom Hiddleston

"The Pirate Fairy", one of Disneytoons' two new projects unveiled at the D23 expo in Anaheim, California, has debuted its first teaser and announced the inclusion of two voice cast members during the event held on Friday morning, August 9. As it turns out, Christina Hendricks and Tom Hiddleston have landed roles in the animated movie.

"Mad Men" actress Hendricks is signed on to lend her voice for Zarina, a fairy who longs to be a pirate. Meanwhile, Hiddleston, who will not reprise his role as Loki in "Avengers: Age of Ultron", will tackle a role as a young Captain Hook in the Peggy Holmes-directed film.

NBC Sets Final Date for Jay Leno's 'Tonight Show'

NBC has allegedly set the date for the final episode of "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno". The 63-year-old comedian will host the late-night talk show for the last time on February 6, 2014, according to sources.

"Tonight Show" executive producer Debbie Vickers reportedly made the announcement Friday, August 7 to employees of the show. Words are, the show's staffers will be paid through end of September 2014, when Jay Leno's contract with NBC expires.

M.I.A.'s long-delayed new album, "Matangi", has now been given an official release date. The British singer's fourth studio album, which follows up 2010's "/\/\/\Y/\", is now set to arrive on November 5.

The release date came shortly after M.I.A. threatened Interscope to leak her upcoming record. She took to Twitter on Friday, August 9, to vent her frustration, writing, "Who would stop MATANGI from coming out?"

Naya Rivera Debuts Song 'Sorry' Featuring Big Sean

Actress Naya Rivera, best known for her role as Santana Lopez on the hit TV series "Glee", just released her own music on August 9 over at Los Angeles radio station Power 106 FM. Helping her out on both recording the track titled "Sorry" and debuting it on air was her boyfriend, G.O.O.D. Music label rapper Big Sean.

"Heard that #nayapower trended?! You guys are the best. This was a good day for all of us and I can't thank you enough for your support," the 26-year-old TV star tweeted on Friday. The single, which she said has "been a long time coming," was finally dropped after Rivera shared a snippet of it last week on Twitter.

Amanda Bynes' Mother Named Conservator by Judge as Doctors Extend Psychiatric Hold

Amanda Bynes' parents have been granted a temporary conservatorship over the former Nickelodeon star. Ventura County Superior Court Judge Glen Reiser made the decision on Friday, August 9 based on the findings of an investigator he appointed to evaluate Amanda's mental health.

The actress' mother, Lynn Bynes, will now have control over her financial and legal affairs as well as her well beings, including choosing a medical treatment for her once she's released from court-ordered treatment. The judge cautioned the parents not to make any significant deals without consulting with Amanda's lawyer.

'Now You See Me' Sequel to Storm Theaters in 2014

"Now You See Me" officially gets a sequel treatment. During a call with financial analysts Friday morning, August 9, Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer announced that a follow-up to the summer sleeper hit started being developed at the studio in hopes of following the success of the first film when released in 2014.

The Louis Leterrier-directed movie about magician heist, which cost $75 million to produce, has grossed $115.5 million domestically since its Memorial Day weekend debut and $117.6 million internationally. Feltheimer expects it will earn a total of $275 million as soon as it opens in China, Australia and Japan.

Katy Perry's Gold 'Prism' Truck Hit by Drunk Driver

The giant gold truck that's currently driving around the country to promote Katy Perry's upcoming third studio album "Prism" was hit by a drunk driver at a Walmart parking lot in Pennsylvania on Friday, August 9. A semi-truck crashed into the singer's promo truck causing considerable damage to the cab of the huge vehicle.

Luckily, no one riding on Perry's truck was harmed since the driver was inside the Walmart store at the time of the collision, while the passengers who were inside the truck at the time of the accident also went unscathed. Police said the driver of the semi-truck initially fled the scene but decided to return soon after to avoid worse consequences on top of the driving under the influence charges that will be filed against him.

Joy Behar bid adieu to "The View" on Friday, August 9, months after announcing her plans to exit the show in March. The likes of Meredith Vieira, Joan Rivers, Regis Philbin and Tony Bennett showed up to help give a proper send-off to the longtime "View" co-host, with her family and friends also in attendance.

Comedian Mario Cantone served as the Master of Ceremonies, taking the podium while co-hosts Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg and Sherri Shepherd sat in the audience. Philbin recalled he and Walters were watching Behar performing at the Starlight Room at New York's Waldorf-Astoria when Behar first caught Walters' attention. "Barbara takes out a little note pad. Joy Behar, she writes it down, and I knew something was gonna happen. That was the beginning," he said.

"Finding Dory" has added new voice cast members. During Pixar's presentation for the much-anticipated sequel at the D23 expo in Anaheim, California on Friday, August 9, it is revealed that Diane Keaton and Eugene Levy are tapped to lend their voice, with "Modern Family" star Ty Burrell as another addition to the ensemble.

The story is set one year after "Finding Nemo" takes place, says director Andrew Stanton, who served behind the lens for the first film. It will follow Dory returning to the open sea to find her parents. Ellen DeGeneres is once again the voice of Dory, while Keaton and Levy will voice the long-lost parents. Burell has landed a role as a young Beluga whale.

Vince Vaughn is a dad again after wife Kyla Weber gave birth to their second child on Wednesday, August 7, at a hospital outside of Los Angeles. The little boy, who was named Vernon Lindsay Vaughn after the "Wedding Crashers" actor's father, weighed in at 8 lbs., 4 oz. and measured 21 inches long.

"The whole family is so excited to welcome this sweet boy into the world," a friend close to the Vaughns told PEOPLE of the new addition to the family. "I am sure Vince will have Vernon out on the ball field in no time!"

Coldplay Contributes 'Atlas' to 'Hunger Games: Catching Fire' Soundtrack

British alternative rock band Coldplay is set to release their first new music since their 2011 album "Mylo Xyloto" and it will appear as the lead single on the "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" movie soundtrack. It's the first original song contribution of the band for a motion picture after some of their songs have been used on such flicks as "Wedding Crashers", "Garden State" and "The Amazing Spider-Man".

"I have great respect and admiration for Coldplay, and we are thrilled with how well they have connected to the themes and ideas within the film," said Francis Lawrence, the film's director, in a statement. "Their unwavering passion and excitement for the project elevated the collaboration even further, and we can't wait to share this music with audiences around the world."

Judi Dench's 'Philomena' Debuts First Touching Trailer

First trailer for "Philomena" has been dropped on the web, giving fans a look at the touching true story of a mother who tracks down her long-lost son. Judi Dench, best known for her alter-ego M in several "James Bond" movies including the latest one "Skyfall", takes on the title role, with Steve Coogan of "Despicable Me 2" as her partner.

With her strong performance as well as convincing Irish accent she pulls off for the character, it is easy to tell that this film can be an awards-grabbing vehicle for Dench, the ten-time BAFTA winner. That is surely what Coogan, who plays a BBC reporter who helps Dench's character find the son she was forced to give up for adoption, also aims when working on the script alongside Jeff Pope.

Swiss Officials Apologize After Oprah Winfrey Became Victim of Racism

Oprah Winfrey recently opened up that she had a brush with racism in Switzerland. While in the coutry to attend Tina Turner's July wedding, she stopped by a posh Trois Pommes boutique where a clerk refused to show her a Tom Ford Jennifer bag, named for Jennifer Aniston, which was priced at 35,000 Swiss francs ($38,000) each.

"I didn't have my eyelashes on but I was in full Oprah Winfrey gear ... but obviously the Oprah Winfrey show is not shown in Zurich," the former daytime talk show queen recalled the brush in an interview. "She says to me, 'No, it's too expensive.' She said, 'No, no, no you want to see this one because that one will cost too much. You won't be able to afford that one.' "

Report: Chris Brown Suffers a Seizure at L.A. Recording Studio

Officials at the Los Angeles City Fire Department rushed to a Hollywood recording studio after receiving a 911 call that reported Chris Brown suffered a seizure. According to TMZ, the call from Record Plant recording studios came in on Friday, August 9 at 01:09 A.M..

When help arrived, however, Brown refused treatment. The 24-year-old singer also turned down offer to be transported to the hospital. It is not yet confirmed whether Brown did indeed have a seizure, but the site said that Brown suffered seizures as a child.

Mel Gibson and Antonio Banderas Set for 'The Expendables 3'

New additions to the cast ensemble of "The Expendables 3" are revealed. Sylvester Stallone now confirms to Entertainment Weekly that Mel Gibson, who has long been rumored to join the action-heavy pic, is indeed signed on, with a coveted role as the bad guy entrusted to the "Braveheart" actor.

Besides Gibson, Sly announces that another new face introduced in the third installment is "The Mask of Zorro" star Antonio Banderas. The role for the three-time Golden Globe-nominated actor, who is also known for voicing Puss in Boots in "Shrek" films, is still unknown as of now.

Child Custody Still in Usher's Hands After Terrifying Pool Accident

Usher has won the child custody battle after Fulton County Superior Court judge John Goger dismissed an emergency request filed by the R 'n' B singer's ex-wife Tameka Foster on Friday, August 9. Foster sought primary custody of their two children after learning that the oldest son, Usher Raymond V, nearly drowned in pool at his father's home earlier this week.

At the emergency hearing in Atlanta, Foster testified that the pool "did not have any kind of safety fence around it" and that the drain in the pool "did not have a proper cover." The former stylist also pointed out that Rena Oden, Usher's aunt entrusted to look after the kids, was an incompetent caretaker due to her disability.
