Lily Collins and Jamie Campbell Bower Split After a Year of Dating

After a year of exclusively dating, "The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones" stars Lily Collins and Jamie Campbell Bower have reportedly decided to end their relationship. The romance that started on the set of their fantasy-action flick back in July 2012 would ironically be concluded on the nationwide press tour that they are currently in the thick of as they promote their forthcoming film.

Just last Friday, they were even seen holding hands at Franklin Mills Mall in Philadelphia, just days prior to their break-up. Nonetheless, they have chosen to "stay friendly" which will do them both good as they continue to make joint promotional appearances for their movie.

Kourtney Kardashian Hit With Paternity Lawsuit

Michael Girgenti insists that Kourtney Kardashian's son Mason is not Scott Disick's, and he apparently has taken legal means to prove his words. According to TMZ, the L.A.-based model who claims he had fling with the 34-year-old socialite in 2009 has filed a paternity lawsuit in L.A. County Superior Court, asking for joint custody.

In the legal docs, Girgenti claims that he met Kourtney during a photo shoot in August 2008. Ever since that encounter, the two allegedly developed texting relationship, which then turned into a sexual one after she and then boyfriend Scott were "on the outs" in March 2009. Saying they "had unprotected vaginal sex," he adds, "I ejaculated inside [Kourtney's] vagina."

New 'Masters of Sex' Trailer Shows the Challenge to Conduct Sex Research

Showtime has debuted a full-length trailer for its provocative new series "Masters of Sex". The new video shows Lizzy Caplan's Virginia Johnson before she works with Michael Sheen's Dr. William H. Masters and the backlash she gets after joining his study about sex, which was considered taboo at that time.

Dr. Masters himself has a hard time convincing his friend and mentor Barton Scully (Beau Bridges) the aim of his study. The Provost of Washington University is concerned that it could cause a scandal and jeopardize the hospital's stellar reputation. A potential jealousy, on the side of Masters' wife, is also teased in the promo video.

Demi Lovato has just been announced as a performer at 2013 Teen Choice Awards. The 20-year-old singer and "The X Factor (US)" judge will be performing "Made in the USA", a patriotic love song taken from her fourth studio album "Demi".

Kate Upton 'Felt Terrible' After Her First 'Sports Illustrated' Cover

After she made it to the cover of Sports Illustrated for the first time back in the February 2012 issue, people would expect Kate Upton to be on cloud nine. It turns out, as the 21-year-old swimsuit model revealed in the September 2013 issue of Elle magazine, it was quite a low point in her life.

"After my first Sports Illustrated cover, I felt terrible about myself for a solid month. Every single guy I met was either married or about to be married, and I felt like I was their bachelor present or something," Upton said. She then went on to open up about feeling objectified after that first cover, of being treated like a "toy" and a stereotypical "dumb blonde" even at work that people would deal with her as if she were a child that they could easily "pull one over on" her.

Two 'Paranormal Activity' Movies Slated for 2014 Release

"Paranormal Activity" will frighten moviegoers twice in 2014. According to Exhibitor Relations, Paramount Pictures will first unleash the Latino-centered spin-off, entitled "Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones", setting it for a January 3, 2014 release. Meanwhile, the next installment in the series, "Paranormal Activity 5", will debut in time for next year's Halloween on October 24, 2014.

The spin-off has already shaped up with the arrival of Christopher Landon as its director and scribe. The latter reportedly will have a storyline rooted in a Catholic-based investigation into the supernatural. Richard Cabral, Carlos Pratts, Eddie J. Fernandez, Jorge Diaz and more have been signed on to star.

Rihanna's New Album Reportedly Arrives in November

Rihanna's new album is reportedly planned to drop later this year. According to MTV Italy, the 25-year-old Barbadian singer's new album will be "worked on in the next few weeks" and completed soon so it can be released in November.

The news supports EDM producer Nicky Romero's statement that says he and Rihanna work on another collaboration. Romero, who joined Rihanna in a track called "Right Now", claimed that they teamed up again for a "smooth" track to be featured in the new album.

Alec Baldwin in Talks to Host New MSNBC Show

Alec Baldwin may return to primetime TV with MSNBC's new show. According to Mediaite, the actor is in talks with the cable channel about hosting a weekly program that will air Fridays at 10 P.M. ET.

"It's real possibility," a source close to the situation says. It's additionally reported that the weekly program will feature a large dose of Baldwin's outspoken liberal politics. The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed the report, but notes that talks could still fall through.

'Cowboy' Jack Clement Dies at Age 82 From Liver Cancer

He was scheduled to be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame this coming October, but sadly musician "Cowboy" Jack Clement did not live through his liver cancer ailment long enough to see that day come. The country music legend passed away this morning at the age of 82 in his Nashville home and will hence be posthumously inducted alongside two other inductees Kenny Rogers and Bobby Bare.

After starting out as a singer and guitar player, Clement went on to work as a producer and engineer for Sam Phillips at Sun Records where he made one of his important achievements, that of discovering Jerry Lee Lewis. He also leaves a legacy that includes being the first to record Roy Orbison and bringing black country crooner Charley Pride into the forefront.

A fan and her friend had a rare opportunity of meeting Wahlberg in person. The two tried to boast about their encounter with the "Ted" actor, whom they thought was "Invictus" star Damon, by uploading some photos. "We saw Matt Damon," the caption read. Wahlberg noticed it but played it cool. He posted the photos on his Facebook and wrote, "Close Enough," with a smiley-face emoticon.

Slim Shady would have been the featured artist in the track "White Power", but unfortunately it did not work out.

"It had gotten out to the press and I just thought that it made a bold statement so I thought that Eminem would easily jump at the controversy being that I heard he had been gearing up to do a new record and getting ready to get back out and fight," an optimistic Green thought about the possibility of teaming up with the rapper. Their purported collaboration track was described by Green as "a black perspective on white power."

Former Scientologist Leah Remini recently filed a missing person report for Shelly Miscavige, the wife of current Scientology leader David Miscavige. News of her LAPD filing was first reported by anti-Scientology journalist Tony Ortega, who claimed that Shelly hadn't been seen in public in six years.

Tony said that Leah began questioning Shelly's whereabouts after noticing her absence from Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' wedding back in 2006. When Leah asked about it, then-church spokesman Tommy Davis told her that she didn't "have the f**king rank to ask about Shelly."

He then took the ambush interview as an opportunity to clarify the apparently misinterpreted lyrics and express his disappointment over his old friend.

Ransom straight away addressed the issue over the lyrics, "I was doing verses for her," claiming it simply meant Minaj used to call her to ask for his help on her songs to which he always obliged, and not necessarily wrote or even arranged any of her songs. He was disappointed with her over the top reaction because he assumed that of all people, Minaj would know exactly what he meant and not overreact like she did.

Syfy has announced a title for "Sharknado" sequel after asking fans to pitch subtitle for it through a Twitter contest. The cable channel picks a rather obvious name for the upcoming TV movie, choosing to go with "Sharknado 2: The Second One".

"Since Twitter played such a huge role in the success of the original movie, we wanted to use that platform to ask our fans to name 'Sharknado 2'," says Thomas Vitale, executive vp of programming at Syfy. The British TV producer and the radio personality, who serves as a judge on Cowell-created "America's Got Talent", are tied for the top spot on Forbes' annual list of Highest-Paid TV Personalities with $95 million each.

Cowell, dubbed a major behind-the-scenes mogul by the magazine, made most of his money through "The X Factor" which is now on in 41 countries and his "Got Talent" which is now the biggest-selling television franchise in the world. The 53-year-old also has a share in the success of popular group One Direction, which he formed after they competed on British "The X Factor" in 2010. He was third last year.

Armie Hammer has been tapped to be Cavill's partner.

Sean Sasser, the former star of "The Real World: San Francisco", has died at the age of 44. Judd Winick, who appeared alongside Sasser on the MTV reality television series, announced the sad news on Twitter.

"Our friend Sean Sasser has died. Our love goes out to his family & husband Michael. We will miss u so much," Winick wrote on Thursday, August 8. Winick also posted a collage photo of Sasser.

The ensemble of heroes consisting of art historians and museum curators are apparently in a race against time to rescue artistic masterpieces from Nazi thieves and return them to their rightful owners. "If you destroy an entire generation of people's culture, it's as if they never existed. That's what Hitler wants. And that's the one thing we can't allow," Clooney says.

'Five Easy Pieces' Star Karen Black Dies of Ampullary Cancer

After more than two years of battling ampullary cancer, Karen Black has finally succumbed to the disease. The "Easy Rider" and "Five Easy Pieces" star died Thursday, August 8 at West Hills Hospital. She was 74 years old.

"It is with great sadness that I have to report that my wife and best friend, Karen Black has just passed away, only a few minutes ago," Black's husband of 25 years, Stephen Eckelberry, announced on Facebook. "Thank you all for all your prayers and love, they meant so much to her as they did to me."

First Post-Pool Accident Pic of Usher's Son Released

Usher's ex-wife, Tameka Foster, couldn't be happier about the recovery of her 5-year-old son, Usher Raymond V, after the kid nearly drowned in pool while trying to retrieve a toy at his father's Atlanta home earlier this week. In an Instagram pic she uploaded, Foster is seen embracing her adorable boy in the hospital with get-well-soon balloons surrounding him.

"My favorite 5-year-old. What a blessing!" Foster tweeted to caption the pic. "I have always loved and appreciated my sons but tragedies and close calls make this even more evident." Earlier in the day, the former stylist revealed that Usher Jr. was "resting well" and they had a blast having "a SpongeBob marathon ALLL night."
