Jay-Z Premieres 'Picasso Baby' Performance Art Film

A month after shooting the music video of the Timbaland and J-Roc-produced track "Picasso Baby" at the Pace Gallery in New York, Roc Nation mogul and platinum-selling hip-hop artist Jay-Z premieres the finished product, a performance art film by director Mark Romanek. The lengthy, almost eleven-minute visuals features Hov performing the "Magna Carta... Holy Grail" track in front of other celebrities and fans alike.

Among the artists that Jay-Z raps right in the face of are New York-based Serbian performance artist Marina Abramovic, writer Judd Apatow, dance hall artist Magazeen, spoken word poet Nichelle Broner, actors Alan Cumming and Adam Driver, artist Marcel Dzama, and performer Radical Phoenixx. Hip-hop pioneer Fab Five Freddy, director Roselee Goldberg, actress Taraji P. Henson, filmmaker Jim Jarmusch, artist Rashid Johnson, and art dealer Sandra Gering also appear in it.

Justin Bieber Adds New Rose Inking to His Sleeve of Tattoos

Justin Bieber's sleeve of tattoos is almost complete. The Canadian singer dropped by Bang Bang tattoo parlor in New York City recently to have a new inking added on his left arm. Earlier this month, he got a tattoo of his mom's eyes.

The new ink is a rose which was etched to fill out the empty spot on his sleeve between his existing tiger and owl tats. "Here y'all go! @justinbieber new tattoo," the tattooist Bang posted on Instagram. "My boy @justinbieber back for more."

Anna Benson Denied Bail Due to a 1996 Murder Charge

Former baseball celebrity wife Anna Benson could have been temporarily released on bail on Friday, August 2 for the armed robbery charges filed against her after a July 7 incident involving her ex-hubby, Mets pitcher Kris Benson. But murder charge filed against her back in 1996 made the judge keep her in jail, believing she may be a flight risk.

The 37-year-old former FHM model is being held for allegedly barging into the home of his estranged spouse with a gun, a knife and a metal baton, asking $30,000 from him and threatening to harm him if he did not give in to her demands. A court-appointed lawyer tried to get her released on a $50,000 bond.

Taylor Swift Injures Tooth After Hitting Face With Mic During Concert

Country crooner Taylor Swift revealed that she recently injured her tooth when bringing her "Red" tour to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The 23-year-old star told Rolling Stone that she was performing "I Knew You Were Trouble" when the mic smacked her mouth and cracked her tooth.

"I try to be really quick with the microphone, so I'm not standing there just waiting to sing with my mic right next to my face," Swift explained how the incident happened. "So I really quickly pulled my mic up to sing and basically uppercut punched myself in the tooth."

As "Sons of Anarchy" season 6 premiere was screened at the Television Critics Association summer press tour on Friday, August 2, TV critics were shocked with the conclusion which features disturbing violence. While this surely has become talk of the town, series creator Kurt Sutter said it was never his intention.

"I've wanted to do that story for about three years," he told reporters. "It's an organic story to our world ... thematically, it's the right thing. ... Nothing is done gratuitously." Insisting that it "is not being done to be sensational," he added that the event would serve as a "catalyst for the third act of this morality play that we're doing."

Jack White Slams Black Keys' Dan Auerbach in E-mails to Ex-Wife Karen Elson

When musician Jack White's ex-wife Karen Elson submitted a bunch of e-mails in court during their divorce proceedings, she did so with the intent to support her claims that her now estranged husband is a threat to her security. Turns out those correspondences will expose the former The White Stripes member's disdain for fellow musician Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys.

"My concern with Auerbach is because I don't want the kids involved in any of that cr*p. You aren't thinking ahead. That's a possible twelve f**king years I'm going to have to be sitting in kids chairs next to that a**hole with other people trying to lump us in together," White wrote to Elson. Both White and Auerbach live in Nashville.

'Star Trek' Actor Michael Ansara Dies at 91 of Alzheimer's Disease

Michael Ansara, well known for playing Klingon commander Kang on three different "Star Trek" series, has passed away. The actor died on Wednesday, August 31 at his home in Calabasas, Calif. due to complication of Alzheimer's disease. He was 91.

His former publicist and longtime friend Michael B. Druxman confirmed it to EW, "Michael and I have been friends since 1968. He was my best friend. He had a long illness. He died at home. He was a great guy, and a wonderful actor. I really miss him."

'Fantastic Four' Reboot Director Denies Wanting Miles Teller as Mr. Fantastic

Earlier this day, Jeff Sneider of The Wrap caused internet frenzy as he said that Miles Teller was "in contention to play Mr. Fantastic in 20th Century Fox's reboot of 'Fantastic Four'." The leading man in Sundance hit "The Spectacular Now" is also said to have met director Josh Trank in person to discuss the possibility.

However, not long after the report surfaced online, Trank dismissed it. He took to Twitter to clarify the rumor, writing, "The casting rumor floating around today isn't true.... the end." That means, the man who served behind the lens for the 2012 sci-fi pic "Chronicle" has not found any cast members for his latest directing gig, which is set to open in March 2015.

Cyrus works the camera in a bra top holding a transparent coat over her shoulder in the black-and-white scenes while on the colored footage, she wears a neutral-shaded mid-riff with white denim shorts and sexy high heels, flaunting her long legs. First teaser for Sundance hit "Kill Your Darlings" has stormed the web. The first feature of director John Krokidas, it is an untold story of murder that brought together a young Allen Ginsberg, Jack Kerouac and William Burroughs at Columbia University in 1944, providing the spark that led to the birth of an entire generation. As previewed in the video, Radcliffe takes on the role as Ginsberg, who wants to be a poet just like his father.

Time Warner Cable Drops CBS Amidst Fee Dispute

Time Warner Cable cusmoters in New York, Los Angeles and Dallas have lost access to programming from their CBS-owned local stations since Friday afternoon, July 2. TWC dropped CBS channels over ongoing fee dispute, with the former claiming that CBS is "not willing to come to reasonable terms" and refusing "to have a productive discussion."

TWC customers who want to see CBS stations will find their screen replaced with a message which reads, "CBS has demanded an outrageous increase for programming that CBS delivers free over the air and online." It appears that the blackout would last until the two parties reach a new deal as TWC adds, "We regret this inconvenience, but feel it is crucial that we let CBS know that we're willing to do what it takes to keep down the price of TV." Their previous deal expired at the end of June.
