Leah Remini on Her Scientology Exit: 'People Should Be Able to Question Things'

Leah Remini made her first formal appearance at the 15th annual DesignCare event in Malibu over the weekend for the first time since being reported leaving Scientology earlier this month. In an interview with reporters, the "King of Queens" actress took time to address her exit from the controversial church.

"I believe that people should be able to question things," she told PEOPLE. "I believe that people should value family, and value friendships, and hold those things sacrosanct. That for me, that's what I'm about. It wouldn't matter what it was, simply because no one is going to tell me how I need to think, no one is going to tell me who I can, and cannot, talk to."

Tyga Sued for $20M for Exposing Models' Bare Breasts

Two video models are suing Tyga for allegedly exposing their bare breasts in an explicit release of his 2012 music video, "Make It Nasty". According to TMZ, dancers Elizabeth Velasquez and Azia Davies are suing the Young Money rapper for $20 million ($10 million for each woman).

The lawsuit stated that during the audition for the roles in the clip, Velasquez and Davies were told that no nudity would be involved. The dancers appeared topless in some scenes, but were convinced that their bare nipples would be "covered" or "edited out."

'ER' Actress Parminder Nagra Wins Big in Divorce Battle

Actress Parminder Nagra, who played Dr. Neela Rasgotra on medical series "ER", scores "huge victory" in divorce settlement over her ex-husband James Stenson. The photographer, who previously accused Nagra of hiding reports of her earnings, did not get a cent from his ex-wife's income.

According to a court document obtained by TMZ, Nagra was awarded all of her "income, residuals and royalties" from her successful TV roles, such as "ER", "Alcatraz" and "Psych". The British actress, who played alongside Keira Knightley in "Bend It Like Beckham", is also entitled to income which will she earn in the future.

Michael Jackson's Doctor Conrad Murray to Be Released From Jail in October

After serving less than two years out of his four-year involuntary manslaughter sentence for Michael Jackson's death four years ago, Dr. Conrad Murray is set to be released from prison in no time at all. The convicted cardiologist is set to become a free man on October 28 after being sent to jail back in November 2011.

The news has enraged Jackson's mother Katherine, who believes Murray should have been tried for murder which carries a stiffer penalty as compared to that for involuntary manslaughter. "It is not right I will never be able to see my son again, while his mother can see him," the devastated matriarch said.

'Transformers 4' Pic: Major Explosion on Historic Boblo Boats

New photos from the Detroit set of "Transformers 4" have surfaced online, thanks to The Shady City. This time, there is neither robot nor any human cast member making an appearance in the images as they only tease a major explosion scene taking place on two Boblo boats, the S.S. Columbia and the S.S. Ste. Clair.

Both historic boats, which are docked in River Rouge and used as props, will have different roles in the Michael Bay film. The Columbia's ship keeper, Sam Buchanan, told CBC News that the Columbia would only have a "minor" appearance while her sister was set for "a prominent role" in the sequel to "Transformers: Dark of the Moon".

Beyonce Knowles has added four more dates to her upcoming Australian leg of "Mrs. Carter Show World Tour". The 31-year-old singer has also announced that Australian-born rapper Iggy Azalea will serve as supporting act at all 14 shows in the country and 3 shows in New Zealand.

Iggy shared her excitement to be able to join Beyonce's tour. "I'm going on tour... With Beyonce!" the 21-year-old rapper tweeted on Sunday, July 28. "That was my special news for Australia! Can't wait to join this tour! thankyou so much to everyone for supporting me! and thanks Beyonce!"

'Homeland' Debuts First Teaser for Season 3

The first teaser for "Homeland" season 3 has landed online. The pretty much vague promo video does not have footage from the upcoming season, but does tease Brody's involvement in the storyline although he has crossed the Canadian border in the season 2 finale.

Following Brody's escape, executive producer Alex Gansa said that the show's writers themselves were still figuring out how often Damian Lewis' character would appear in the next installment. "[Those] are all open questions for us right now," he told TVLine in December last year.

Man Jailed for Stalking Anderson Cooper for 5 Years

A psychiatric patient who has been terrorizing Anderson Cooper for five years gets arrested. New York Post reported that a 40-year-old Queens man called Alex Hausner had been making unwanted phone calls to Cooper's home since 2008.

The alleged stalker, who described himself as "a gay, Jewish white supremacist," also attempted to meet the news anchor four times. On June 22, Hausner even tried to kick down Cooper's front door. A surveillance camera captured Hausner saying, "I swear to f**king God, don't insult me," as he attempted to break into the house which Cooper shared with his boyfriend.

Lindsay Lohan to Take European Vacation After Rehab

Lindsay Lohan is set to go on a European vacation after she completes her 90-day court ordered rehab from her drug and alcohol addictions. The 27-year-old actress is said to have been booked for a one-way ticket to London, where she will commence her European holiday after she pulls off her latest rehab stint, her sixth time in a treatment facility in the last six years.

The trip was apparently a gift from a female friend for LiLo's "job well done in rehab" that comes to an end on July 31. The return date has not yet been determined but it would most likely be before she starts filming for her docu-series under Oprah Winfrey's OWN cable network.

Tara Reid is not cut from "Sharknado 2" just yet. After it was reported that the actress would not be asked back for the upcoming film, Syfy stops the rumor from spreading even wilder by telling The Huffington Post that no official casting decisions have been made for the sequel project.

TMZ previously reported that Reid was not included in the producers' cast wish-list for "Sharknado 2". So-called sources connected to the production told the site that Ian Ziering was the only actor the producers wanted to return to the follow-up for the social media hit.

'Ray Donovan' Executive Producer Enters Guilty Plea to Illegal Online Gambling

"Ray Donovan" executive producer Bryan Zuriff pleaded guilty to running an illegal online gambling on Thursday, July 25. The producer was involved in an unlawful online gambling which apparently was run by an enterprise with Russian-American mafia tie. Zuriff will face up to 10 years in prison and pay $500,000 in fine.

"Bryan Zuriff spanned the coasts with his crimes, by operating his own illegal gambling enterprise in Los Angeles, and helping to operate a vast illegal gambling enterprise in New York," U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara said in a statement, as quoted by Deadline. "With his plea, he becomes the first defendant, but not the last, to be convicted in this sprawling script of criminal conduct," Bharara added.

One of the pics gives fans a glimpse of Zac Efron, the former Disney star who is tapped to play Dr. Charles 'Jim' Carrico who desperately tried to save JFK's life at that time.

In another snap, Efron is featured alongside Marcia Gay Harden who is introduced as the head nurse in the trauma room. Paul Giamatti who acts as the accidental witness Abraham Zapruder is seen filming the motorcade with his cam. Other images, meanwhile, unveil looks at Billy Bob Thornton as the head of Dallas' Secret Service office and Jeremy Strong as killer Lee Harvey Oswald.

After all the twerking on stage and on her "We Can't Stop" music video, Miley Cyrus drops all the craziness and goes back to raw music as she sings an a capella version of "Les Miserables" song "On My Own". The pop rock singer posted an audio clip of herself doing the stripped down cover of the Eponine solo on her YouTube account on Sunday.

The one-and-a-half-minute rendition is reminiscent of her Backyard Sessions recordings, where the young artist hangs out with her friends and performs acoustic covers of Cyrus' favorite songs. However, the "On My Own" audio does not feature any instrumentals and just purely focuses on her distinct, raspy vocals.

J.J. Cale Dies of Heart Attack at Age 74

Grammy Award-winning musician J.J. Cale, known for being one of the creators of the Tulsa Sound, passed away on Friday, July 26 at the age of 74. As told by his manager Mike Kappus, the legendary musician died at the Scripps Hospital in La Jolla, California where he had been rushed following a heart attack.

Cale leaves a legacy of songs that became hits for other renowned artist as Eric Clapton ("After Midnight" and "Cocaine") and Lynyrd Skynyrd ("Call Me the Breeze"). Other rockers that have cited him as an influence in their music and successful careers include Neil Young, Tom Petty, Johnny Cash, Carlos Santana, Bryan Perry, Mark Knopfler and The Allman Brothers Band.

Tionne Watkins a.k.a. T-Boz and Rozanda Thomas a.k.a. Chilli brought their '90s R'n'B/hip-hop girl group TLC back to life Saturday night, July 27 as they performed their hits onstage on Day 2 of the two-part, 2nd annual Mixtape Festival in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The two surviving members closed out their set with their 1992 major hit "No Scrubs", performing it as a trio with rapper Lil Mama filling in for the missing third member Lisa Lopes a.k.a. Left Eye.

The "America's Best Dance Crew" judge, who plays Left Eye in the forthcoming VH1 TLC biopic, joined the live rendition of track, singing the late member's verse and busting out the same dance moves the original singer did on the music video. Prior to that number, Watkins and Thomas dedicated their career-defining hit "Waterfalls" to Left Eye.

Hollywood beauties Britney Spears and Katy Perry graced the blue carpet at the premiere of "The Smurfs 2" at Regency Village Theatre on Sunday, July 28 in Westwood, Calif. The former, who contributes to the soundtrack, and the latter, who voices the Smurfette, wore dresses with the signature Smurf color.

Britney rocked a figure hugging Herve Leger mini dress, Saint Laurent shoes, and Chris Aire diamond earrings. She brought her sons Sean Preston, 7, and Jayden James, 6, to the family-friendly event. " Getting ready with my baby boys to head to the #Smurfs2 Premiere. They are bouncing off the walls :)," she tweeted.

"We have yet to set any dates," she clears up the reports to The Associated Press. "There have been no canceled weddings. There have been no postponed weddings. There have been no arguments about where to get married. Just clearing that all up."

Jay-Z offers a sneak peek into his "Picasso Baby" music video, ahead of the premiere of HBO special "Picasso Baby: A Performance Art Film" on August 2 at 11 P.M. Wearing a white shirt and dark pants, he faces the crowd for a live exhibition at the Pace Gallery in New York.

"Rap is thinking out loud, and you're putting your fears and your vulnerabilities and your insecurities to music," explains the rap mogul in the preview. "Concerts are pretty much performance art, and a smaller venue is a bit more intimate, so you feel the energy of the people."

John Rzeznik is a married man for a second time. The Goo Goo Dolls frontman tied the knot with Melina Gallo Friday, July 26 at the Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, California. They swapped vows under an old oak tree in front of about 120 guests including his bandmates.

"The whole thing was just about family and friends. It was really beautiful and romantic," he told PEOPLE. "We've been together a while and I'm not going anywhere and we'd like to start a family. I'd prefer to be married when I have kids."

Diane Lane to Play Hillary Clinton on New NBC Miniseries

NBC is developing a four-hour miniseries on Hillary Clinton, NBC Entertainment Chairman Robert Greenblatt announced at the Television Critics Association's summer press tour. Diane Lane is tapped to portray the former United States Secretary of State.

Titled "Hillary", it will recount the wife of former president Bill Clinton as "a wife, mother, politician and cabinet member from 1998 to the present." The TV network spills that the miniseries will use the script written by Oscar nominee Courtney Hunt.

'Fashion Star' Canceled After Two Seasons

"Fashion Star" didn't survive beyond the second season. NBC Entertainment chairman Bob Greenblatt confirmed at the Television Critics Association's summer press tour that they wouldn't renew the design competition series.

The show features celebrity mentors Jessica Simpson, Nicole Richie and John Varvatos. The second season got revamped with the contestants being grouped into teams and the mentors taking more hand-on roles in helping the contestants.

Darren Criss and Lucy Hale Set to Host 2013 Teen Choice Awards

The stars who will be co-hosting the upcoming Teen Choice Awards have been announced. According to the latest print issue of Entertainment Weekly, "Glee" actor Darren Criss and "Pretty Little Liars" actress Lucy Hale are confirmed to team up for the duty.

Awarding young fans' favorites in music, film, television, sports, fashion, comedy and the Internet, the show is set to take place at the Gibson Amphitheatre on August 11. "Pitch Perfect" leads the nominations with 11, followed by "The Twilight Saga's Breaking Dawn - Part II" with 9, and "Glee" and Bruno Mars with 8.
