Fall Out Boy Records 'Eight or Nine' Songs With Ryan Adams

Fall Out Boy was rumored working on new album after sharing a photo that sees them in a studio with Ryan Adams. The photo, which was posted on Instagram last week, arrived with a caption that said, "Back to work pax am." Now, the band explained what actually happened there.

Bassist Pete Wentz told Rolling Stone that he and his band spent two marathon nights to record "eight or nine" songs. Adams was there to direct the session. "It was punk rock -the stuff that makes you want to kick the s**t out of your bedroom at your parents' house," said Wentz. "It's impossible to deny the spirit of what was happening there."

The sudden death of Cory Monteith leaves big impact on "Glee", the show that made the Canadian actor's name rise to stardom. Sources tell NY Daily News that the 5th season premiere of the singing-dancing show, set for September 19, might be delayed until November as well as its production that has been scheduled to be kicked off next week.

A so-called FOX source says to the site that the delay is meant to "to let everyone breathe" in the wake of the tragic passing of the Finn Hudson depicter. Monteith had been expected to reprise his role and show up in the first two episodes of the series. The actor himself even had taken part in the new season promotional photos alongside other "Glee" regulars.

It marks the second-biggest sales week for an album this year. It trails behind Justin Timberlake's "The 20/20 Experience", which opened to 968,000 last March.

Jay-Z's latest release gives the rapper his 13th No. 1 album. The number includes his three collaboration albums with R. Kelly, Linkin Park and Kanye West. The only artist who has more chart-topping album is The Beatles. The British band has 19 No. 1 album. Bruce Springsteen and Elvis Presley are other artists with the most No. 1 album. Both singers have 10 each.

Danny McBride Rushed to Hospital After Falling Hard on 'Eastbound and Down' Set

Danny McBride received medical attention after having an accident on the set of "Eastbound & Down". The 36-year-old actor was rushed to a hospital in North Carolina on Tuesday, July 16 after falling hard while filming a roller skating scene.

According to TMZ, the screenwriter/stand-up comedian appeared to be in so much pain, particularly in the backside, so the producers decided to send him to the hospital. After examining him, doctors determined that McBride didn't suffer any serious injuries in the fall.

The Oscar-winning actress is secured to produce and star in "Wild", the upcoming adaptation of Cheryl Strayed's best-selling memoir. Fox Searchlight Pictures has nabbed the worldwide rights to distribute the film which is penned by "An Education" scribe Nick Hornby.

The story centers on young Strayed, who undertakes a pretty epic hike on the Pacific Crest Trail from the Mojave Desert to Washington State following the death of her mother and the failure of her marriage. Besides being the first selection for Oprah's Book Club 2.0., it reached No. 1 on The New York Times Best Seller list.

Robert, whose career went down because of drugs, became a top actor after starring in hit movies "The Avengers" in 2012 and "Iron Man 3" in 2013. "Iron Man" franchise approximately fetches in $2.4 billion, while "The Avengers" becomes the third highest-grossing movie of all time with $1.5 billion at the box office. Forbes noted that Robert played Tony Stark brilliantly by mixing arrogance, humor and a hint of vulnerability and created a superhero character that everyone loved.

'American Dad!' Moves to TBS for Season 11 in 2014

It turns out that "American Dad!" will pack his luggage. TBS has announced that the Emmy-nominated animated comedy co-created by Seth MacFarlane will move to the cable television channel for season 11. The show, which will wrap up its season 10 on FOX, will debut the new season in 2014.

The duo later uploaded a picture of the t-shirt to Instagram. The photo shows a blue sleeveless t-shirt with names of men who were romantically linked to Taylor Swift, such as Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner, Jake Gyllenhaal and Harry Styles.

An Ohio DJ claims Justin Bieber spit in his face as the pop superstar confronted him inside a night club over the weekend. Apparently, the 19-year-old teen heartthrob suspected the man of taking photos of him and was concerned since the bar was a 21 and above hang-out.

"Two of Bieber's bouncers approached me and said I was trying to take pictures of Bieber," the DJ says as he starts to recount the spitting incident over at the Dave and Jimmy Show on WNCI. The bouncers, who reportedly took hold of his phone and began browsing through for the supposed pictures, never found any but still told their boss that he was taking photos.

Rock band Mazzy Star comes back with a new album, "Seasons of Your Day". Co-written and co-produced by lead singer Hope Sandoval and guitarist David Roback, the follow-up to 1996's "Among My Swan" is set to be released on September 24 via their own Rhymes of an Hour Records.

The 10-track album was recorded in Norway and California. It will feature performances from the band's original members as well as My Bloody Valentine's Colm O Ciosoig and late Scottish musician Bert Jansch. Jansch can be heard on a guitar duet with Roback.

Dan Brown's 'Inferno' Secures Tom Hanks and Release Date

Tom Hanks will reprise his role as Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon in "Inferno", the third adaptation of Dan Brown's novel. Deadline confirms the casting news and adds that the Oscar winner will reteam with his collaborator in the previous two installments, director Ron Howard. "Angels & Demons" scribe David Koepp is tapped to return as well. The movie is set for a December 18, 2015 release.

"Inferno" is the fourth book that was released in May. Since it's still fresh in fans' minds, it is probably what triggers Sony Pictures' decision to skip the third novel, "The Lost Symbol". The story is set in Europe and inspired by Dante Alighieri's 14th-Century epic poem, "The Divine Comedy". The protagonist is still Langdon, who of course attempts to solve a riddle once again, only this time influenced by the literary masterpiece.

Multiple Grammy Award-winning singer Stevie Wonder has expressed his disapproval over the recent not guilty verdict handed to slain teenager Trayvon Martin's shooter George Zimmerman. The 63-year-old Soul Music Hall of Famer has vowed not to perform in Florida until the "Stand Your Ground" law, which was used as a key defense argument leading to the acquittal, is repealed.

"I decided today that until the Stand Your Ground law is abolished in Florida, I will never perform there again," the iconic artist said right in front of the crowd at his Quebec City concert on Sunday. He even went further by deciding that he would do the same for any other state or country that has a similar ruling, saying, "As a matter of fact, wherever I find that law exists, I will not perform in that state or in that part of the world."

Emma Roberts has allegedly hit her boyfriend, actor Evan Peters. The daughter of actor Eric Roberts and niece of actress Julia Roberts reportedly engaged in a physical altercation with her beau in Montreal, Quebec on July 7.

TMZ reports law enforcements were called in after someone reported a fight in their shared hotel room. The "Scream 4" actress was taken into custody on suspicion of having inflicted injuries on the "American Horror Story" actor.

Lea Michele broke her silence, a few days after her boyfriend and "Glee" co-star Cory Monteith was found dead in his Vancouver hotel room. Her statement was issued as British Columbia Coroners Service officially announced the cause of his death.

"Lea is deeply grateful for all the love and support she's received from family, friends, and fans. Since Cory's passing, Lea has been grieving alongside his family and making appropriate arrangements with them," the actress said through her representative.

Nas Fellowship Created by Harvard University in His Honor

The W.E.B. Du Bois Institute at Harvard University and the Hip-Hop Archive announce a Nasir Jones Hiphop Fellowship to honor rapper Nas. The program will assist students with personal projects that may include manuscripts, performance pieces, album work and exhibition preparation.

The rapper was chosen because "his lyrical skill, social analysis and commitment, has helped usher in an original form of hiphop debate and analysis that reflects on and represents urban youth angst and conflict as well as intelligence, confidence and ambition... He has tackled both intense political issues and hardcore street topics. In doing so, he has inspired a generation."

Josh Duhamel Announces Fergie Is Pregnant With Baby Boy

A baby boy is on the way for Josh Duhamel and his singer wife, Stacy Ferguson, who will soon be Fergie Duhamel. The "Safe Haven" star reveals the baby's gender when dropping by "Live with Kelly and Michael" set to air Wednesday, July 16.

Duhamel, wearing a white button-down, jeans and Nike trainers, participated in "Du or Don't Part II: Baby Edition". Instead of blatantly asking if it's a boy or a girl, host Kelly Ripa held up a pink and a blue onesie for the dad-to-be to choose.
