Actor Joe Conley, who is most popular for his role as Ike Godsey on CBS' family drama "The Waltons" in 1970s, has passed away. His wife Louise told Los Angeles Times that the actor died at a care facility in Newbury Park on Sunday, July 7, at the age of 85. He had dementia. In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children.
Mary McDonough, who played Erin Walton on the TV series, also announced her co-star's passing. "It is a sad day. So sorry to let you know Joe Conley, our beloved Ike Godsey, passed early this morning, please keep him, wife Louise, and his family in your prayers. RIP Mr. Godsey," she wrote on Facebook.
