Julianna Margulies Heads to Trial Over Ex-Manager's Unpaid Commission Fee

"The Good Wife" actress Julianna Margulies apparently needs to prepare herself for a trial against her former management company D/F Management over $420,000 in claimed commission after her motion to drop the lawsuit was rejected by a judge on Tuesday, June 25. The company filed the lawsuit last year, alleging the actress severing their partnership without paying commission.

The firm of Steve Dontanville claimed that Julianna had to pay 10 percent commission fee from what she gets from shows. The management company also said that she would need to pay commission fee for project deals when they were still working with her, such as her role as a spokesperson for L'Oreal and securing a spot on CBS' legal drama "The Good Wife".

Demi Lovato has just unveiled the lyrics video for "Made in the USA", the second single off her latest album, "Demi". The video gives glimpses at the situation in a circus where there are a ferris wheel, tents, clown and several attractions as the lyrics pop up on the screen.

"No matter how far we go, I want the whole world to know/ I want you bad, and I wont have it any other way," she sings. "No matter what the people say/ I know that we'll never break/ Cause our love was made, made in the USA."

Video: Frank Ocean Debuts New Songs During Germany Concert

Frank Ocean kicked off his "You're Not Dead" tour in Germany, on Tuesday night, June 25. In his first proper concert since September 2012, the 25-year-old rapper treated fans at Munich's BMW Welt with three brand new songs.

The three new songs, which are currently untitled, are presumably taken from his upcoming album. A few months ago, Ocean confirmed he was working on the follow-up to 2012's "Channel Orange", saying, "I'm 10, 11 songs into this next thing."

Former Devo Drummer Alan Myers Dies of Cancer

Drummer of new wave band Devo, Alan Myers, passed away on Monday, June 24, after losing a battle with cancer. Jazz musician Ralph Carney, who is also the uncle of The Black Keys's member Patrick Carney, announced the death of the drummer via his Facebook. "I just got some bad news. Alan Myers passed... from cancer. He was Devo's best drummer and one of the first people to teach me about jazz. I cry... Alan taught me so much about music. He gave me my first sax lesson," Ralph wrote.

Drummer Josh Freese, who has played with the band, also confirmed the sad news via his Twitter account. "RIP Alan Myers. One of my all time favs. An underrated/brilliant drummer. Such an honor playing his parts w/Devo. Godspeed Human Metronome," he wrote.

Ludacris Gets Sued Over 'Sex Room' Lyrics

It's been years since Ludacris released the song "Sex Room" featuring Trey Songz back in 2010, but that did not stop a Chicago rapper named Marvo from filing a lawsuit against the Grammy Award-winning rapper and actor for allegedly stealing his original concept. Marvo is suing for a yet unspecified amount which most likely will include unpaid royalties.

In the lawsuit, Marvo claims that he worked on the original composition back in 2009 with producer Kajun, who supposedly sold his song to Ludacris without his knowledge. Apart from changing some parts of the original, Ludacris was said to have kept most of the original lyrics, particularly some written by Marvo such as "welcome to my sex room" and "it's a private party."

Olympic gymnast Shannon Miller and her husband, Drummond Press president John Falconetti, are celebrating the birth of their new baby daughter Sterling Diane, named after her maternal great-great-grandfather and paternal grandmother. She becomes Miller and Falconetti's second child after first-born son Rocco, who is now three-and-a-half years old.

"Shannon and John are thrilled to welcome Sterling into the world," a representative for the couple broke the good news. "Mom and baby are healthy and doing well." The 36-year-old gold medalist gave birth to the 6-pounds, 15-ounces bundle of joy at 11:49 A.M. on June 25.

M.I.A. Releases 'Bring the Noize' Music Video

M.I.A. has just dropped a music video for her latest single, "Bring the Noize". In the video, the 37-year-old British beauty transforms into an underground party queen. With the appearances of sacred cows and brightly-colored symbols of Hindu, she dances around people who wear white clothes and do some "washing" rituals with the dry ice rising from the ground.

"Bring the Noize" is a tribute to Public Enemy's 1987 song of the same title. The single will be included on M.I.A.'s upcoming album, "Matangi". The follow-up to 2010's "/\/\/\Y/\", which was originally set to arrive last December, is expected to drop this fall via N.E.E.T/Interscope.

Paramount Pictures just unveils first look at a 2013 Pagani Huayra, produced by sports car manufacturer Pagani based in San Cesario sul Panaro, near Modena, Italy.

So far, both Bay and the studio have provided several teaser images of the car line-up. A vintage 1967 Camaro for new form of Bumblebee, a custom-built Western Star truck for Optimus Prime's upgraded look, a 1,200-horsepower Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse and a C7 Corvette Stingray for unspecified Autobots are already introduced to fans.

Mathew Knowles has filed a lawsuit against British media outlet The Sun to seek unspecified damages for alleged defamation and breach of contract. In a statement to E! News, Mathew claims that The Sun "knowingly and maliciously misrepresented [his] relationship with his daughter, Beyonce Knowles, and with his granddaughter," Blue Ivy.

In a March 24, 2013 article, The Sun stated following the headline, "Former manager talks about family rift for first time," and added that "Mathew Knowles has reportedly not yet met Blue Ivy." The story read further, "Although he insists the decision to go their separate ways was mutual, Mathew, 61, is hurt that Beyonce has cut him out of her life." Mathew, however, objected the assertions.

John Grisham's 'A Time to Kill' to Get Broadway Treatment

John Grisham's first best-selling novel "A Time to Kill", a tale of a young white lawyer defending a black man for a revenge murder in Mississippi, will be adapted into a Broadway musical. From the Tuesday announcement made by producers Daryl Roth and Eva Prince, the play will begin preview performances on September 28 at the John Golden Theatre and open on October 20.

Tony Award winner Rupert Holmes ("Drood") has been tapped to write the play version of the 1989 book. "It was my first book and the first that I have allowed to be adapted for the theatre," says 58-year-old Grisham in a statement. "Rupert Holmes did an excellent job of translating it from the page to the stage, and I am happy that not only my loyal readers, but a whole new audience will be able to experience this story in live theatre."

Kanye West's 'Yeezus' Tops Billboard 200

Kanye West's new album, "Yeezus", claimed the top spot on the Billboard 200 chart. Nielsen SoundScan reported that West's seventh studio album had sold 327,000 copies in its first week, making it the biggest week for a rap album since Drake's 2011 album, "Take Care".

Despite directly topping the chart, "Yeezus" is West's lowest debut. Initially expected to sell 500,000, the album is not better than his 2004 album, "The College Dropout", which debuted and peaked at the chart's No. 2 with 441,000 copies sold in its first week.

The pop-punk trio of Paramore premieres their brand new music video for "Anklebiters", a track off their latest self-titled album. It's bundled along with four other tracks on side C of their LP along with "Interlude: Holiday", "Proof", "Hate to See Your Heart Break" and "Still Into You", for which they released a fun music video back in April where they did stuff like riding BMX bikes and lighting off fireworks.

The Jordan Bruner-directed clip for "Anklebiters" is similarly fun, but in a different, video game-kind of way. Fans don't get to see either of lead vocalist Hayley Williams, bassist Jeremy Davis or guitarist Taylor York anywhere in the two-and-a-half-minute clip but instead will be treated to a fully-animated, Pacman-inspired feature filled with creatures trying to bite several abstract figures.

At the hearing, Berry told the committee about her 5-year-old daughter Nahla who apparently got scared of the paparazzi's consistent presence around her. "My daughter doesn't want to go to school because she knows 'the men' are watching for her. They jump out of the bushes and from behind cars and who knows where else, besieging these children just to get a photo," the "X-Men: Days of Future Past" actress said, as quoted by Associated Press (via CBS News).

TLC Replaces Left Eye With Japanese Singer in 'Waterfalls' Remake

Nearly two decades after releasing "Waterfalls", TLC released a new version of the song with Japanese singer Namie Amuro replacing the group's deceased member, Lisa Lopes a.k.a. Left Eye. In the remake, which is dedicated to TLC's fans in Japan, Amuro appears alongside Tionne Watkins and Rozanda Thomas to rap Lopes' iconic verse.

However, not everyone's happy with the replacement. The most disappointed one is Lopes' family. The late singer's sister, Reigndrop Lopes, told TMZ that she and the rest of her family were not pleased with the change.

Chris Brown Reacts to Hit-and-Run Charges

Chris Brown was furious. He vented his frustration on Twitter after being charged in a minor fender-bender taking place in Los Angeles last month. He accidentally crashed his Range Rover into a Mercedes Benz while driving with his on-again girlfriend Karrueche Tran.

"It's not a hit and run if u get out the car, exchange information (who has NO DAMAGE to either cars).This is really ridiculous," the R&B singer began his rant. "I have a valid drivers license and I gave the woman the right info. She saw cameras and wanted to make a scene."

'Under the Dome' Delivers Big Ratings for Summer Debut

CBS' summer series "Under the Dome" had a strong start. The new drama, based on Stephen King's novel of the same title, drew 13.5 million viewers and 3.3 rating among adults 18-49 (after adjustment) on its debut Monday night, June 24, according to Nielsen.

It marked the biggest audience for a new summer scripted show on CBS since "2000 Malibu Road" delivered 17.05 million viewers in 1992 and the most-watched summer debut for any network since NBC's "The Singing Bee" in 2007. It also matched FOX's "The Following" as the second-highest new drama debut this year, while NBC's "Revolution" still holds the first place.

One Direction Debuts 'This Is Us' Full Trailer Featuring New Track 'Best Song Ever'

First full-length trailer for One Direction's much-anticipated 3D movie has finally arrived online. Launched on the official VEVO channel of the British-Irish boyband, the video takes fans to briefly dive into the on and off-stage lives of Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan and Harry Styles.

A touching scene of Zayn's mother shedding tears of gratitude towards his son and glimpses of Harry returning to his old job in a bakery in his hometown Holmes Chapel are featured in it. Producer Simon Cowell also takes part in the short trailer, saying, "The fans were the ones who made up their minds that this band was gonna be huge."
