Video: will.i.am Performs '#thatPOWER' on 'Dancing with the Stars'

will.i.am appeared on Tuesday's episode of the hit TV celebrity dancing competition, "Dancing with the Stars", to perform his new single "#thatPOWER". His collaborator on the song, Justin Bieber, wasn't actually there to perform live with him but the Black Eyed Peas leader made sure he would appear onstage with him during "DWTS" April 23 results show.

Since Bieber was not available to sing live with will.i.am as he is currently trekking across the world for his "Believe" tour, he appeared somewhat virtually, in a pre-recorded video that was played on the giant screen set-up on stage for the special musical number. It was the similar concept that will.i.am used in their music video, where The Biebs was unleashed via a hologram.

Lee Pace in Final Talks for Villainous Role in 'Guardians of the Galaxy'

"Pushing Daisies" star Lee Pace may be attached to Marvel's upcoming film. The 34-year-old actor is reportedly in final negotiations to take a villainous role, which is still kept under wraps, in James Gunn's "Guardians of the Galaxy".

If the deals are sealed, Pace will join other cast members who have been on board the project earlier, including Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista and Michael Rooker. Pratt will play Guardian leader Peter Quill/Star-Lord while Bautista will be green warrior Drax the Destroyer. Rooker, meanwhile, will portray Zatoan-tribe member Yondu.

Sylvester Stallone Names Australian Director as 'Expendables 3' Helmer

Through a guessing game hosted on Twitter by Sylvester Stallone, fans finally got to know who would be the director for "The Expendables 3". The actor, who co-writes the film series, announced that Patrick Hughes would serve behind the lens for the third installment.

Stallone opened the guessing game, saying, "The director is an Aussie," and later added, "NOT Mel...Fresh talent... Directed a Damn good film 2 years ago...Think." Unable to hide it anymore, the 66-year-old action star gave a big hint that the director's last film "was more RED than BLUE," which led to Patrick Hughes and his notable film "Red Hill" in 2010.

3 Doors Down's Bassist Todd Harrell Released From Jail

Todd Harrell is free from jail after paying $100,000 bond on Tuesday, April 23. Harrell was taken into custody on Friday for vehicular homicide charge. Harrell's court appearance is reportedly scheduled for Thursday.

According to the police, Harrell caused an accident in Nashville highway where he sped up in his 2011 Cadillac CTS and clipped a Ford pick up truck. The truck struck a guardrail, traveled down an embankment and overturned. The driver in the truck, Paul Howard Shoulders, Jr., died in a hospital shortly after the accident.

Brad Paisley to Guest Star in 'Nashville' Season Finale

"Nashville" has enlisted a real-life country music superstar to appear in its season finale. Brad Paisley is tapped to guest star in the last episode of the show's inaugural season, joining his wife Kimberly Williams who portrays Teddy's (Eric Close) mistress on the drama series.

The "Anything Like Me" hitmaker will play himself in the episode. He will sing a song with Connie Britton's Rayna and Charles Esten's Deacon. The episode is slated to air Wednesday, May 22 on ABC.

The 60-year-old director reportedly shot a steamy sex scene where Anastasia Steele loses her virginity to Christian Grey. The "Magic Mike" actor, who was cast just for the tape, served as kinky billionaire Grey. Meanwhile, the identity of the actress who played Steele remains unknown.

Jenelle Evans Arrested for Heroin Possession and Assault

Jenelle Evans got herself into a trouble again as Brunswick County Police arrested her on Tuesday, April 23. According to TMZ, the police, who was called to Evan's home following a report that said she and husband Courtland Rogers were fighting, discovered 12 bindles (small foil packages) of heroin and percocet without prescription in Evan's possession.

In addition to being charged with heroin and controlled substance possession, Evans is charged with assault after Rogers claimed that she hit him with a piece of furniture during the altercation. Rogers was then arrested too for allegedly assaulting his wife by "hitting her on the neck and striking her with a closed fist on her head" and possession of heroin with intent to manufacture, sell and distribute.

Katey Sagal's guest-starring appearance on "Glee" has been teased in a photo. Making its way out via TV Guide, the image gives the first official look at the "Sons of Anarchy" actress as Artie's mom. In a May 2 episode of the FOX series, Artie's mother comes to town with some big news about her boy's future.

Titled "Wonder-ful", the episode featuring Sagal will be a tribute to Stevie Wonder. Back on April 5 when announcing her gig on the show, the four-time Golden Globe-nominated actress hinted that she would be "singin' a tune or two."

Walmart to Sell Tickets for 'Man of Steel' Early Screening

Warner Bros. has formed what is thought to be the first unusual partnership in Hollywood. The studio has landed a deal with Walmart to exclusively sell tickets in more than 3700 stores for the "Man of Steel" early screening, which takes place on June 13.

"We couldn't be more excited to give our customers and associates early access to one of the summer's most anticipated movies," said Laura Phillips, Walmart senior vice president of entertainment, in a statement.

Justin Bieber Reportedly Plans to Send His Pet Monkey to a Zoo

Justin Bieber apparently does not want his pet monkey back. A spokesperson for an animal shelter house, which has been keeping Bieber's pet monkey Mally after it was confiscated by German authorities in March, told Associated Press on Tuesday, April 23, that they received an email from the singer's representative. The email read, "Our team is looking into the idea of placing Mally at a zoo in Germany. Would you happen to have any recommendations for places that Mally would be safe and thrive?"

According to E! News, however, the animal shelter will wait for official documents from Bieber or his legal representatives to proceed with Mally's transfer to a new place, rather than just email. A spokesperson for Munich Tierschutzverein that keeps Mally, Roberto Mioni Coltro, said that the decision of the new place would be up to Federal Agency for Nature Conservation.

Lauryn Hill Avoids Prison by Inking Mega Deal With Sony Music

Grammy Award-winning singer Lauryn Hill has not released an album since 2002 but she may soon break her recording hiatus when she lives up to the $1 million for 5 songs deal she recently signed with her former record label, Sony Music. By cashing in on the new mega deal, the 37-year-old R'n'B star stands to escape prison time for the tax evasion charges she had been facing since last year.

The former The Fugees frontwoman was supposed to be sentenced after pleading guilty of failing to pay taxes on the $1.8 million she earned from 2005 to 2007. But the federal court judge deciding her case postponed it in light of the lucrative deal, allowing her until May 6 to pay off her remaining tax liability of $504,000.

Madonna's Homeless Brother Injured and Arrested After Fighting a Female Cop

Madonna's estranged and homeless brother, Anthony Ciccone, was injured after fighting a female officer when he refused to leave a public bathroom at the Grand Traverse County Civic Center, Michigan, on Sunday, April 21, Record Eagle reported. Ciccone, whose blood-alcohol level was five times the legal limit, was then brought to a hospital and received nine stitches on his forehead.

"[Ciccone] pulled away, turned around and confronted the female officer in an aggressive manner," Traverse City Police Capt. Brian Heffner told the paper. "[The female officer] turned him around and brought him to the ground, which is when he struck his face on the bathroom floor."

'American Idol' Denies Plotting to Replace Mariah Carey With Jennifer Lopez

FOX has debunked report that it attempted to replace Mariah Carey with Jennifer Lopez on "American Idol" mid-season in a bid to save the show from ratings decline. A spokeswoman for the network says, "This is just another ridiculous Idol judge rumor, likely started by talks of Jennifer performing on the finale."

A representative for Carey also denies the rumor, while the show's producer Nigel Lythgoe tells The Hollywood Reporter, "I have not been included in any conversation regarding replacing Mariah with Jen this season." Fremantle NorthAmerica, which produces the singing competition show, refuses to comment on the issue.

JLS Splits Up After Five Years, Plans Farewell Tour

British boyband JLS has announced that they will be breaking up for good after five short years together as a singing group. The quartet, which shot to fame after finishing as the runner-up in the 2008 season of British "The X Factor", will first go on a farewell tour and release a greatest hits album before finally bidding their career as a group adieu.

Despite selling more than 10 million records and 1.5 million show tickets and having five No. 1 singles to their credit, Aston Merrygold said, "It's just that time. We are still best of friends and always will be - but this is the end." Marvin Humes added, "The last five or so years have been nothing short of incredible. It has been an incredible journey."

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson Resting at Home After Hernia Surgery

Dwayne Johnson, or The Rock, underwent emergency surgery for three tears in his hernia. The surgery was carried out on Monday, April 22. Johnson's representative told E! News that the surgery forced Johnson to miss the Los Angeles premiere of his new movie with Mark Wahlberg, "Pain and Gain".

Johnson took to Twitter on Tuesday, April 23, to inform fans that he was recovering well. "Surgery a success! Dr repaired 3 hernial tears (fun pain). Superman is on the mend.. #WeFallWeRise," he tweeted. He attached a picture of him showing off his biceps in a Superman costume on his hospital bed along with the post. Johnson's publicist Alan Nierob told Associated Press that Johnson had been discharged from hospital and now he is recovering at home.

The site reported that the 48-year-old filmmaker felt sorry for his film "Armageddon", which was released in 1998. Ben announced his participation and encouraged his Twitter followers to get involved in the project on Monday, April 22. "1.4 billion people live on less than $1.50/day. I'm joining Live #BelowTheLine on behalf of @easterncongo. Will you?" he tweeted.

"Live Below the Line" campaign requires its participants to limit their budget for food and drink at maximum $1.50 a day, starting from next Monday, April 29, until May 3. According to World Bank, the figure $1.50 is U.S.' equivalent to extreme poverty line. Besides Ben, other names such as actress Sophia Bush and Vice President Joe Biden's son Hunter Biden are going to take part in the project. Singer-songwriter Josh Groban, who previously joined the campaign, is making another voluntary session.

The collaboration track off his new "#willpower" album was allegedly ripped off by the 38-year-old songwriter/record producer from producers Arty and Mat Zo's dance track "Rebound".

"Arty is a dope producer so I wrote this song to 'Rebound' this last year," will.i.am admitted to writing the song "Let's Go" over the instrumentals of Arty's track. "I got in touch with Arty and showed it to him, did a different version to it because I asked him [to] make it newer, because 'I don't just want to take your song and rap over it.' "

Allan Arbus, the Psychiatrist of 'M*A*S*H', Dies at 95

The psychiatrist Sidney Freedman of 1970s comedy television "M*A*S*H", Allan Arbus, died at the age of 95 on Friday, April 19, his family confirmed. Arbus passed away at his house in Los Angeles due to congestive heart failure.

"At 95, doctors didn't want to do surgery and Allan didn't want it at all," Arbus' second wife, Mariclare Costello told Reuters. "He just slowed down. He just got weaker and weaker and was at home with his daughter and me."

Reba McEntire's 'Malibu Country' Loses Showrunner

Another ABC show is losing its showrunner. A day after Mike Kelley announced his departure from "Revenge", it has been confirmed that Nastaran Dibai will step down as showrunner on "Malibu Country", which has wrapped the production of the first season.

It marks the second time the Reba McEntire-starring sitcom undergoes a showrunner change in one season. Dibai was chosen to replace series creator Kevin Abbott to run the show when Abbott exited the show in October to enter rehab.
