Katy Perry Teams Up Anew With Dr. Luke for Next Album

Katy Perry has reunited with mega record producer Dr. Luke for her follow-up to her 2010 album "Teenage Dream". The 28-year-old entertainer revealed this yesterday during her appearance at the ASCAP I Create Music Expo, adding that she's halfway finished with her forthcoming new album.

"When I put myself on a timeline, when I tell the record company when I want to release the album, that's when the race starts. That's when I put pressure on myself," Perry said about her studio album-making process. Her upcoming LP is expected to churn out new hits especially since Dr. Luke gave Perry some of her biggest chart-toppers such as "Teenage Dream", "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)", "E.T.", "I Kissed a Girl" and "Hot 'N Cold".

will.i.am Premieres '#thatPOWER' Music Video Featuring Justin Bieber

Just a little over a month after they released their new collaborative single "#thatPOWER", Black Eyed Peas frontman will.i.am and pop heartthrob Justin Bieber premiere its futuristic music video. The empowering track is a cut off the 38-year-old songwriter and record producer's new solo album, "#willpower".

For the almost five-minute clip, will.i.am unleashes a hologram of his 19-year-old pal before he goes off on a dancing spree with a bunch of his clones, dishing out some rarely seen choreography from the BEP leader as he and his crew do their moves across different locations around the globe. One of the highlights of the video was Will and his backing dancers dropping their moves in a room with a mirrored floor as the song's neon lyrics appeared on the walls.

Lauryn Hill Sued for Eviction by Her Landlord

Lauryn Hill is facing another trouble. After she was charged with three counts of misdemeanor failure to file taxes for the years of 2005-2007, she may now need to look for a new place to live since her landlord has reportedly threatened to kick her out.

According to TMZ, the Grammy-winning singer has rented a South Orange, New Jersey mansion since 2009 but stopped paying it last month. Her landlord wasted no time to file a lawsuit against her, giving her a legal ultimatum to leave or pay the bill.

NBC Axes Eva Longoria's 'Ready for Love'

NBC has dropped new reality show "Ready for Love" from its line-up. The show from executive producer Eva Longoria has aired only two episodes, and it's still unknown when or whether the remaining episodes will air.

To fill the vacant slot, "Grimm" will air the remaining episodes of the season on Tuesdays at 10 P.M. starting April 30. The fantasy procedural series will be replaced by "Dateline" on Fridays at 9 P.M. starting April 26.

Reese Witherspoon Is Asked to Wait for Matthew McConaughey in New 'Mud' Clip

A new clip for Jeff Nichols' upcoming drama "Mud" has been released via Moviefone. Instead of the title character, the new video specifically focuses on his lover Juniper, played by Reese Witherspoon, who's desperately waiting for her man to come.

Juniper is visited by two young boys Ellis and Neckbone, who come with a letter from Mud, played by Matthew McConaughey. She is on the verge of tears when reading it. It is then revealed that Mud's intention of writing the letter is to ask his girlfriend to "hold tight" for a certain time until they are finally reunited.

Judge Grants Kim Kardashian and Kris Humpries' Divorce

The long battle between Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries is finally over. On Friday, April 19, a settlement is reached in the pair's divorce case with a judge deciding to dissolve their marriage, according to TMZ. The divorce case will be finalized once the papers are prepared and signed by officials. It is expected to happen next June 19.

Kris failed to show up in the Friday's hearing due to his practice schedule with his team while Kim was present at the court with her lawyer, Laura Wasser. The divorce is a victory for Kim, since Kris walked out of the court with no financial gain despite previously demanding $7 million from the 32-year-old actress.

After posting a photo of her wearing denim clothing without a bra earlier this month, the singer posted another picture of her in a sexy pose on Thursday, April 18. In the recent purple-tinted photo, the singer stood sideways near a curtain in her birth suit.

Ke$ha's right hand played with strands of her blonde hair, while she used the curtain to cover her private areas. The photo might be a teaser of her upcoming jewelery line collaboration "Kesha Rose by Charles Albert" which would hit the stores in late summer, because she wore a bracelet on her right hand in the image.

'The Avengers' Star Tom Hiddleston Could Lead 'The Crow'

Tom Hiddleston, best known for his portrayal of Thor's nemesis Loki in "The Avengers" and "Thor", is reportedly approached by Relativity Media to join the studio's remake of "The Crow". The English actor is in early talks to play the lead character Eric Draven.

Based on the 1989 comic book of the same name by James O'Barr, "The Crow" follows rock musician Eric Draven, who rises from the grave to take revenge on the thugs, who killed him and his fiancee. Alex Proyas directed an adaptation of the comic in 1994 with the late Brandon Lee as the lead actor.

Prince Harry Joins Wounded Soldiers for Expedition to South Pole

Prince Harry, who is also a member of Britain's armed forces, clears his busy schedule to join wounded British soldiers on a charity trek to the North Pole. The expedition is to benefit Walking With the Wounded, an organization which helps rehabilitate injured troops.

He joins Sgt. Duncan Slater who lost both his legs in a 2009 blast in Afghanistan; Maj Kate Philp who lost her left leg after a 2008 bomb blast; Capt. Guy Disney who lost his right leg in a 2009 rocket attack; and Capt. Ibrar Ali who lost his right arm in a 2007 roadside bomb.

Making its way out via Entertainment Weekly, the trailer highlights the consequences of the title character and Deb's actions in the season 7 finale. Their relationship is in turmoil as Deb is plagued with remorse, while Dexter moves on with his life without feeling any guilt and may find a new romance.

The upcoming installment of the crime series, which will premiere Sunday, June 30, at 9 P.M. on Showtime, has been confirmed to be the last. Star and executive producer Michael C. Hall is among those who are pleased with the decision.

Martin Scorsese's Long-Delayed 'Silence' Is Ready to Film in July 2014

Martin Scorsese's long-awaited dream of adapting Shusaku Endo's 1967 novel "Silence" into a film finally comes true. Emmett/Furla Films is on board the project to finance the novel-adapted film, which is planned to shoot in Taiwan in July 2014. The Award-winning filmmaker will also serve as the writer alongside Jay Cocks.

The novel, which is titled "Chinmoku" in Japanese, centers on 17th century Jesuits who puts their lives at risk to spread Christianity in Japan. However, it is then revealed that Christianity has been forced underground there by persecution and torture of admitted believers. The title itself refers to God's silence during the toughest times experienced by the hidden Christians.

As expected, this year's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees became emotional as they were entered into the prestigious list as the latest additions to the elite cast of artists. "When we first found out, I don't think it really dawned on me what it meant," Canadian prog-rock outfit Rush frontman Geddy Lee revealed about how his band assessed their latest achievement, realizing much later that "in the days building up to this tonight, I've started reflecting on our lives and what this actually does mean in the context of music, popular music."

Lee would surely be touched to know that Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters had nothing but pure admiration for him, telling folks backstage how terrified he was to play in front of his favorite band their song "Overture". The "Sound City" filmmaker proclaimed, "Tonight was one of the most special nights of my life."

NBC Pulls 'Hannibal' Episode Featuring Violence in Wake of Boston Bombings

"Hannibal" has joined a list of TV shows which pull episodes out of sensitivity to the Boston Marathon bombings. NBC decides to shelve the fourth episode, originally scheduled to air April 25, which is deemed inappropriate in the wake of the recent tragedy.

Titled "Ceuf", the said episode features children who are brainwashed into killing other children. The fifth episode, "Coquilles", will air in its place. Due to the omission of one episode, the series will now wrap its first season earlier on June 20, instead of the original schedule on June 27.

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez apparently are going back together. Selena, who took a 14-hour trip to Norway on Thursday, April 18, reportedly went to the country to reconcile with her ex-boyfriend. A source told PEOPLE, "They were holding hands, hugging and they kissed on the lips. They looked really in love, like no fights ever happened before. It definitely looked like they were back together."

Another source told E! News that Selena's trip to Norway was to see Justin after he finished his concert in the country. "They met up privately later. She was picked up by a car from Justin's camp. It was a personal visit," the source said.

Bradley Cooper shows his support to a victim of Boston Marathon bombings. Accompanied by New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman, Cooper went to hospital to see Jeffrey Bauman Jr. who lost both of his legs below the knee. In a picture posted by Julian on his Twitter on Thursday, April 18, Jeffrey was on his hospital bed, giving a thumb-up sign to the camera and holding a ball in his left hand, while Bradley and Julian were on the sides of his bed.

Julian captioned the picture, "Visited #survivor #stud #hero Jeffrey Bauman Jr. today. He was looking great and is a true inspiration. #strong." He told E! News, "It was a very humbling experience. We talked a little football. I learned that he is a tough guy and has a very close strong family. He is a true inspiration." He added, " I don't want the focus to be on me. 30 Seconds to Mars Premieres 'Up in the Air' Music Video

After releasing an almost one-minute teaser this week of their new music video for 'Up in the Air', 30 Seconds to Mars finally unveiled its full version. The track, included in their upcoming fourth album, "Love Lust Faith + Dreams", was first launched by the band into the International Space Station in the SpaceX Dragon Cargo Capsule from Cape Canaveral.

The eight-and-a-half-minute clip is actually a short film helmed by the group's frontman Jared Leto under his Bartholomew Cubbins alter ego. It is shot in what seems to be an abandoned airplane hangar as he guides Damien Hirst, Dita Von Teese and U.S. Olympic gymnasts McKayla Maroney and Jordyn Wieber along the striking visuals that may trigger seizures in people with epilepsy, as the warning cautiously states.

Marvel Studio hypes its upcoming film "Thor: The Dark World" with the release of the first poster for the Nordic superhero film. The image captures Chris Hemsworth's Thor wielding his famous hammer Mjolnir with his intimidating look while being surrounded by some lightning.

Pink Floyd mourned the death of Storm Thorgerson, an artist who helped them create cover arts for their albums over the years. Guitarist David Gilmour and drummer Nick Mason took to the band's official website to remember their longtime friend and collaborator.

He formed graphic art group Hipgnosis. He had created artworks for the likes of Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Genesis, Muse, Ween, AC/DC, and Paul McCartney & Wings. Nicole Eggert Rushed to Hospital After Botched High-Dive on 'Splash'

Another star stumbled on ABC's "Splash". Nicole Eggert was briefly hospitalized on Thursday, April 18 after she botched a high-dive which ended with a painful back flop into the pool during a taping of the reality show.

According to TMZ, the actress was attempting to execute a dive that included multiple backflips, but something went wrong mid-air and she went crashing hard into the water back first. On-site EMTs pulled her out of the water and took her to a nearby hospital.
