Muse Offers Momentary Tribute to Boston During NYC Concert

English rock band Muse gave a momentary tribute to the city of Boston during their Madison Square Garden concert in midtown Manhattan in New York City Monday night. The rock trio gave a shout-out to the Massachusetts capital in the wake of the Boston Marathon bombing attack Monday that killed three people, including an innocent eight-year-old boy.

Frontman Matthew Bellamy shouted, "This is for Boston!" as the band played an instrumental of the "Star-Spangled Banner". The touching tribute drew cheers from the jam-packed, sold-out crowd, who sang the lyrics to the U.S. national anthem despite having an overall feeling of nervousness that people in large crowded places as sporting arenas and concert halls generally feel following the horrendous attack.

Hospitalized Jeanne Cooper Is in Better Condition

After being hospitalized at a Los Angeles hospital since Friday, April 12 for an unspecific illness, Jeanne Cooper showed a significant improvement on Tuesday, April 16. Her son, Corbin Bernsen, who has been sharing updates on Jeanne's condition, wrote on Twitter, "Just heard HUGE progress with my mom today. Breathing apparatus has been removed so now onto underlying issues. Your prayers are healing!"

On his Facebook page, he also thanked fans for their prayers for his mom. "The hurdles that have been jumped by my mom, fueled by your prayers and well wishes and love, support so much of what I've come to believe and have been trying to share in the last few years," he wrote. "Please keep my mom in your thoughts, but reach out to others and let's build this incredible force and spread your love and prayers between her and those needing it most today."

'Iron Man 3' Will Be the First Film to Play in 4DX Format in Japan

Marvel has the honor of having its upcoming film "Iron Man 3" presented in latest entertainment technology. The film will be shown in 4DX, operated by Korona World, starting April 26 at a theater in Nagoya, Japan. "It was really a matter of timing that Iron Man became the first title for 4DX in Japan," Tagiki Ishiguro, a spokesperson for Korona World, told The Hollywood Reporter.

Developed by South Korean company CJ Group, the system utilizes equipments in the ceiling that can drop bubbles down upon the audience. For experiencing the newest effects, one has to pay $13 for 3D version and $10 for 2D films. CJ Group is reported eying to equip 200 theaters in the United States with its system.

Miranda Kerr Models Qantas' New Uniforms

Miranda Kerr unveiled Qantas' new uniforms on Monday, April 15, in Sydney. In the uniform-launching bash, Kerr walked the runway in a black outfit with orange and pink stripe on shoulder and chest area. In addition, a black belt perched on her waist. She had red lipstick on and her hair was arranged in a simple updo. Kerr also posed in a black trench coat and a fedora.

Before the launching, Orlando Bloom's wife confirmed that she was leaving Victoria's Secret in an interview with Sydney Morning Herald. She denied rumor saying that she was dropped by the lingerie company because she had "difficult reputation." Kerr said, "I'm sure anyone that has worked with me would agree that it's not true."

MPAA Redesigns Movie Ratings System to Be More Informative for Parents

The Motion Picture Association of America has renewed the movie rating system which is specially designed to be easily comprehended by parents. Chairman and executive of MPAA Chris Dodd announced on April 16 at CinemaCon a new system named "Check the Box" to help prevent children from watching inappropriate scenes.

The new campaign will feature detailed descriptions of why a movie receives a certain rating. There will also be a tag attached to trailers explaining that the trailers are approved to play with the features they come to see.

George Beverly Shea, Grammy-Winning Gospel Singer, Dies at 104

George Beverly Shea, who had sung live to millions of Christians at the Reverend Billy Graham's evangelical crusades, died Tuesday, April 16 after a brief illness. The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association said he passed away in Asheville. He was 104.

Shea joined Graham's crusade team in 1947 as the soloist and travelled the world with the famous preacher for years until the Reverend's declining health. "I've been listening to Bev Shea sing for more than 50 years and I would still rather hear him sing than anyone else I know," Graham once said.

First Teaser for Syfy's 'Helix' From 'Battlestar Galactica' Creator

Syfy has unleashed the first official teaser for its new series "Helix". The sneak-peek video, which is dominated with white, doesn't share the actual footage from the show but hints at the plot with a tagline which reads, "A team of scientist working in secret are about to change the world or end it."

The video opens with a shot of snowy landscape before showing a scientist sitting in an all-white room. Toward the end of it, something suspicious is coming out from the scientist's head and running down his cheek.

Mario Lopez Facing Lawsuit After Allegedly Bailing on a Scheduled Event

Mario Lopez has landed in hot water. The "Extra" host is sued by Robert "Bobby" Capone for allegedly canceling his gig as a host at an event organized by Capone at the Roxy/and or Penn's Landing Caterers in Philadelphia on October 27 last year.

According to the lawsuit obtained by E! News, Lopez was to receive $15,000 for the job and already got $8,000 in advance. The former child actor then informed the organizer that he would not be attending because of "new commitments" that have "just arose."

And so you have to understand -getting your foot in the door is like winning the lottery. It's literally like winning the lottery if you get to have a career," he says.

Citing an "overwhelming regional demand" for a second show in Dubai as the reason, Justin Bieber's concert in the open city will get an additional May 5 tour date. Sadly, however, the announcement came just after the 19-year-old entertainer was forced to cancel his forthcoming May 6 show in Muscat, Oman.

"Believe" world tour promoter, Alive Entertainment, issued the official statement announcing the changes. Although it carried no clear indication as to the reason why the Oman tour date is scrapped, it's possible that the second Dubai show may have caused the cancellation of the Oman gig.

The 24-year-old Ukranian TV prankster could face maximum six months in jail and a $1,000 fine for each count. Actor Richard LeParmentier who played Admiral Motti in "Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope" passed away on Tuesday morning, April 16, at the age of 66. According to his publicist, LeParmentier, who lived in Bath, England, was visiting his family in Austin, Texas when he suddenly died. The cause of death is currently unclear.

LeParmentier's family thanked fans and people who offered condolences in a statement. According to the statement, many of his fans remember him as "a warm, genuine person with an unparalleled joie de vivre and gift for friendship (not to mention a mean petanque player)." The actor loved meeting "Star Wars" fans and traveling around the world. His family said that they felt grateful for his frequent visits.

Jay-Z Previews 'The Great Gatsby' Soundtrack

As Baz Luhrmann's "The Great Gatsby" nears its May 10 premiere and its soundtrack comes even closer to an earlier May 7 release, executive producer Jay-Z shares a preview of his masterpiece via a six-minute sampler containing twelve out of the fourteen total tracks featured. Interscope Geffen A&M Records did the honors of releasing the track sampling, posting it on their YouTube account.

In equal 30-second snippets, each of the twelve tracks featured in the soundtrack's standard edition is included in the sampler. It kicks off with will.i.am's "Bang Bang", Stacy Ferguson a.k.a Fergie's "A Little Party Never Killed Nobody (All We Got)" featuring Q-Tip and GoonRock, and Lana Del Rey's "Young & Beautiful" before giving a sneak peek into the rest of the tracks which include a familiar "Crazy in Love" jazzed-up by Emeli Sande and The Bryan Ferry Orchestra.
