'Charlie Brown' Voice Actor Pleads Guilty to Stalking and Threatening

Peter Robbins, who was known for voicing Charlie Brown in the classic "Peanuts" TV show, changes his tune regarding the charges he got for allegedly stalking and threatening his ex and a plastic surgeon. The 56-year-old star initially pled not guilty to the allegations, but has now told the court in San Diego that he did commit the crimes.

Robbins, who began his voice acting at a tender age of 9, was arrested on January 20 at the San Ysidro Port of Entry when he tried to cross the border upon his return to the States from Tijuana, Mexico. During a background check, it's revealed that he was wanted by the San Diego County Sheriff's Department for a felony warrant.

Hip-hop recording artist Fabolous premiered a music video for his new single "Ready", the first track to be released off his forthcoming new album "Loso's Way 2: Rise to Power". The 35-year-old rapper sought the assistance of hip-hop/R 'n' B superstar Chris Brown for this new love ballad, who lends his sexy vocals on the hook.

The four-minute clip directed by Taj Stansberry was shot entirely in the island nation of the Dominican Republic. It shows Fabolous on vacation, where he gets smitten by a local beauty, a maid working in the hotel he's staying at, who turns out to be slipping him some quite expensive gifts.

Report: Lindsay Lohan to Enter Rehab at Westhampton Beach Facility

Words just got out that Lindsay Lohan could possibly check into Seafield Center, a beach facility located in Westhampton Beach, NY, to fulfill her court-ordered rehab. It's the place where her father Michael once entered in the late 1980s when he was trying to sober up.

The Seafield is allegedly more modest than LiLo's previous rehab trip to Malibu and Palm Springs centers. It's a 90-bed facility with patients sharing rooms. It's not exactly a lockdown facility since such place reportedly doesn't exist in NY but it has the staff guard the doors 24/7.

The Hollywood Reporter has released a list of 35 Most Powerful People in Media. In the third annual list, the likes of Howard Stern, Matt Lauer, Savannah Guthrie, Willie Geist, Jimmy Fallon, Anderson Cooper and Katie Couric are considered as those "who control the megawatt megaphone for Hollywood and beyond."

Commenting on his placement on the list, Stern said jokingly during his Sirius XM radio show, "I'll be between Ann Curry and the Naked Cowboy." He didn't show any sign of retirement despite being a 59-year-old man, and even signed on for his second season in the judge's chair on "America's Got Talent".

'Invicible' Director Ericson Core Set to Direct 'Point Break' Remake

"Point Break", the remake of 1991's action thriller of the same title, has found its helmer. Alcon Entertainment's co-founders and co-CEOs Broderick Johnson and Andrew Kosove have announced that "Invincible" director Ericson Core has been tapped as the helmer of the company's upcoming film.

Kosove reveals that the remake will not focus on surfing like the original film, which was directed by "The Hurt Locker" filmmaker Kathryn Bigelow. "[Our 'Point Break'] has got elements of the original and it's not just surfing, it's other kinds of extreme sports, but surfing is very, very prominent in the story," he says.

Black Sabbath to Debut New Song on 'CSI' Season Finale

Fans dying to hear legendary metal rockers Black Sabbath's new music will only have to wait until next month for the debut of the first single off their forthcoming album "13" coming out on June 11. They'll actually get to see the song "End of the Beginning" being performed by the Ozzy Osbourne-fronted band as they do a cameo on "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" season finale on May 15.

The band is set to appear in the scene where D.B. Russell, played by Ted Danson, and Conrad Ecklie, portrayed by Marc Vann, attend a Black Sabbath show as part of the investigation on a series of murders similar to the sins in "Dante's Inferno". Lead vocalist Osbourne, guitarist Tony Iommi, and bassist Geezer Butler will premiere their much-anticipated new song during the gig on the thirteenth season finale of the long-running CBS drama.

'Django Unchained' Pulled From Movie Theaters in China on First Day of Release

Sony Pictures has got shocking news from abroad. The studio's "Django Unchained" has been yanked off from theaters on the first day of the movie's screening in China. The movie was supposed to be Quentin Tarantino's first movie to get commercial release in the country.

Sony's representative Steve Elzer tells Deadline upon hearing the news, "We regret that Django Unchained has been removed from theaters and are working with the Chinese authorities to determine whether the film can be rescheduled."

Adrien Brody to Be Houdini on History's Miniseries

Adrien Brody will show some magic tricks on his next project. The Academy Award winner of Best Actor in 2002 will reportedly take the lead role of Harry Houdini on a potential miniseries which is being developed by History channel.

As first reported by Entertainment Weekly before The Hollywood Reporter confirms the news, Gerald W. Abrams is on board as producer for the project, which has "Houdini" as its working title. There's no word on director and other cast members for the show that "traces the arc of the turn-of-the-20th-century master magician's life from desperate poverty to worldwide fame."

Other artists may opt to lay low if they had gotten the same backlash that the two artists received following the release of their now infamous country-rap song, but the duo is quite confident "Live for You", which tackles a far less serious subject than the race-related issue taken up in "Accidental Racist", won't suffer any of the negative publicity that their first output has managed to get from online bashers.

Disney Confirms Layoffs Are Underway

Walt Disney Company has released a statement confirming that the studio is laying off its staff. In the statement, the studio's spokesperson said, "As part of an ongoing review to ensure that the Studios' operational structure and economics align with the demands of the current marketplace, we have made the difficult decision to reduce our staffing levels in several divisions of the Studio."

The layoffs already started earlier this week as Disney cut the number of its workers at the LucasArts game studio, saying that they would be no longer developing games. The San Francisco-based company didn't mention how many workers were affected by the cuts. Disney will still continue cutting the number of the staff in studio and consumer products divisions.

Former child actor Orlando Brown has been taken into police custody for suspicion of driving under influence. The 25-year-old star was busted Sunday night, April 7 at about 11:30 P.M. while driving on Lankershim Boulevard in North Hollywood.

The actor, who guest-starred on several Disney Channel sitcoms in the early 2000s, was reportedly being held on a $26,000 arrest warrant from an August 2011 DUI arrest. He failed to show up in court for an October 2012 hearing stemming from the drunk-driving offense.

NBC Renews 'Last Call with Carson Daly' Amid Alec Baldwin Rumor

NBC has no plans to replace Carson Daly in the foreseeable future, judging from its decision to renew "Last Call with Carson Daly". The very-late-night talk show, which airs at 1:35 A.M. ET/PT, has been given a new season order which will bring it back for a 13th season.

Ryan Seacrest Is the Latest Swatting Victim

Ryan Seacrest became the latest target of celebrity swatting as his Beverly Hills home was the subject of a prank phone call to police. According to TMZ, on Wednesday, April 10 around 2 P.M., police received a 911 call from someone who claimed shots were fired inside the TV and radio host's house by "mobster looking guys in suits with rifles."

Police noticed that the phone call might be false. Authorities said in a release, "Upon arrival, officers made contact with private security at the residence and were told there was no trouble. Officers also contacted Mr. Seacrest and he also confirmed that everything was okay."

Nonetheless, it's still an impressive feat considering the initial industry projections were not even as high. It even gives the group their first No. 1 on the country albums chart.

Kenny Rogers, Bobby Bare, and "Cowboy" Jack Clement are going to be the newest Country Music Hall of Famers, joining previous inductees Reba McEntire, Garth Brooks and 116 other members. The three chart-topping country artists will be inducted in a ceremony that will take place later this year at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville, Tennessee.

Rogers, the eight-best-selling male artist of all time, will be inducted to the Modern Era Artist category. He was able to successfully record singles across different musical genres which brought about the hit song "Lady" with Lionel Richie of the Commodores. Meanwhile, Bare, whose hit "The All-American Boy" became the second biggest single in the U.S. back in December 1959, will be installed into the Veterans Era Artist category.

MTV has officially announced "Buckwild" cancellation. On Wednesday, April 10, the network said in a statement, "After careful consideration, MTV will not be moving forward with season two of 'Buckwild' in West Virginia." Planning "a meaningful way to pay tribute to his memory on our air and privately," MTV will air a special, "Buckwild: WV to the NYC", dedicated to Shain on Sunday, April 13 at 8 P.M. ET/PT. Before the tribute special, the network will air the entire first season of "Buckwild".
