Katie Couric's Phone's Bad Wiring Blamed for Numerous Calls to 911

Numerous 911 calls from Katie Couric's home were caused by crossed wires, instead of prank. According to New York Daily News, a NYPD police officer said, "She was not the victim of any sort of scam." A source added, "There was old wiring that literally would get crossed and send out a series of tones." Sometimes the phone would dial the emergency number.

Previously, the police suspected that Couric became victim of "spoof." Spoof is a process in which a prankster accesses mailbox that is not password-protected to make phone calls that look like they are from the victim's number.

Kate Upton Allegedly Spotted Kissing With P. Diddy

A little over a month after breaking up with Justin Verlander, Kate Upton shocked onlookers at club LIV in Miami Beach as she was reportedly spotted kissing with P. Diddy on March 24. "They were kissing, they weren't hiding it," an eyewitness told New York Daily News.

Earlier in the evening, he told his Twitter followers he was hosting a party at the club. "Miami... Ain't no party like a @iamdiddy party ... Meet me at Club Liv 2nite #CIROCBOYZ in the building!!!" he tweeted.

After displaying her curvaceous figure in her "High School" visuals dropped last week, the 30-year-old entertainer appears all covered up in the no-frills clip, shifting the attention from her physical assets to her rap skills instead.

The five-minute-plus clip features motorcycle stunts done by Jason Britton, Safaree "SB" and Phenomenhan with stunt cinematography masterfully handled by Max Albert. Minaj, meanwhile, stays put indoors, sitting before the fireplace before pacing to her piano and playing behind it as many candles are lit on top of it.

Katy Perry to Sell Mansion She Bought With Russell Brand

Katy Perry puts her mansion she bought with ex-husband Russell Brand on sale. After she failed to get a serious buyer privately, she puts the house in public list and asks for $6.925 million for the property. Perry and Brand bought it shortly before their split for $6.5 million. However, the couple reportedly never resided in the mansion because they wanted to renovate the building before they moved in.

The 2-story building was built in 1920 on 3-acre land. The 8,835 square feet home consists of seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms, plus a huge four-room master suite, two guest suites, and staff quarters. According to real estate site Zillow, the property also boasts a carriage house, a garden, and a gorgeous pool with a waterfall in addition to the main house.

The Black Panther topic was brought to attention by "Kick-Ass 2" actor in a message he later deleted, "It's time to get familiar with the Black Panther character!" He caused even more buzz as tweeting, "Not final. #BlackPanther may be in #avengers2 first."

"Run and Jump" debuts its first trailer via Entertaiment Weekly. The film follows a story of an Irish couple, Vanetia and Conor Casey (Maxine Peake and Edward MacLiam) whose life changes when Conor becomes mentally ill after suffering from stroke. Later comes Ted (Will Forte), an American neurologist who stays with the family to study and observe Connor.

The trailer gives a look at Connor's odd behavior as the Irish family welcomes the "brain doctor." It also highlights how Vanetia stays strong while dealing with her husband's condition. The full-spirited wife tries to have fun by doing laughter yoga in her car and asking Ted to dance with her.

'Buckwild' Producer Blasts MTV for Canceling Show

"Buckwild" is reportedly canceled after the death of cast member Shain Gandee. Sources told TMZ that MTV decided to stop production of the show's second season. The network is expected to make the official announcement on Wednesday, April 10.

Meanwhile, MTV's decision to axe the reality series has left producer J.P. Williams fuming. "This is the network that has shows about teen pregnancy. They'll stick by a show that allows you to abandon a child, but a kid dies by accident doing what he does for a living [mudding] and they cancel the show?" he told The Hollywood Reporter. The 45-year-old rap star joined Paisley for an unlikely combination to rap about being an African-American in these modern times.

"Music is about, and art is about, connecting different people, and building bridges and breaking the rules," the rapper said in an interview the night of the ACM Awards in Las Vegas. "If it's not compelling, and it's not complex and it's not interesting, then what are we doing it for? So I think that's the right move," he argues in defense of the track included in Paisley's album "Wheelhouse" which has undoubtedly gotten much attention over its handling of race relations in American society.

Emerging from a pool of black paint at the onset, Lovato is then shown looking all-natural and fresh in a white top on the next scene, holding up two graphite-covered hands.

Reebok Demanded by Rape Survivors to Fire Rick Ross Due to His Date-Rape Lyrics

Reebok may need to address the controversial date-rape lyrics rapped by their ambassador Rick Ross. The company hasn't said a word since the matter first rose, but now the protest is getting louder as UltraViolet, a women's right group, launched a petition demanding the top brand to drop the rapper as their spokesmodel.

In their letter to Reebok's President Uli Becker, Chief Marketing Officer Matt O'Toole and Corporate Communications Daniel Sarro, the group says Reebok condones rape by keeping Rozay as the face of their brand. "Your silence on this issue is unacceptable. It's time you took a stand against rape and drop Rick Ross as a spokesman," they state.

NBA rules prohibit everyone affiliated with agency to own stakes at an NBA team. Sources said that Jay-Z would complete the process by the time its agency competes for players entering the June NBA draft.

Marc Webb has shared a new picture taken from the filming location of "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" in New York. Taken on the 45th day of production, it shows the destruction caused by Electro, the major villain played by Jamie Foxx.

Instead of showing the bad guy, the photo displays a cop talking on the radio with his surrounding including his car catching fire. "This is what happens when you try to give Electro a ticket," so the director tried to explain the panic scene.

A Woman Arrested for Sneaking Into Clay Aiken's House

Clay Aiken got an uninvited guest at his North Carolina home last Wednesday, April 3. A woman was caught peering into a window in the front of the former "American Idol" contestant's house. The stranger allegedly hopped a fence to get into his property.

The obsessed fan identified as Barbara Saylor, 57, from Seattle was arrested before she could break into Aiken's house. The intruder was slapped with misdemeanor charges for alleged stalking and first degree trespassing. TMZ reported she's due in court on April 24.

Trying to find the cure, he hatches a plan to break into Elysium, the most guarded place in the universe.
