Drake Gets High School Diploma at the Age of 25

Drake has just finished his high school education after about 10 years dropping out of school. The 25-year-old actor/rapper described the experience as one of his best moments.

"97% on my final exam. 88% in the course. One of the greatest feelings in my entire life. As of tonight I have graduated high school!" he tweeted on October 16. He then added, "Thank you to my teacher Kim Janzen for spending the last 5 months working tirelessly with me!! OVO SOUND."

Good word has come from the very long-gestating "Ghostbusters 3" project. While some fans have been speculating that the project might be dead after all, it is now said that the movie still moves forward with Ivan Reitman expected to kick off the production in summer 2013.

The report is broken by Deadline, which states that Reitman is set "to finally get the long-gestating Ghostbusters reboot in front of the cameras next summer for Sony Pictures." The pic will happen anyway without Bill Murray returning as the lead character Dr. Peter Venkman.

TNT has given a greenlight to Frank Darabont's first project following his resignation as "The Walking Dead" showrunner. Previously known as "L.A. Noir", the currently untitled period drama has been picked up to series and ordered for a total of six episodes.

Based on John Buntin's book "L.A. Noir: The Struggle for the Soul of America's Most Seductive City", the series chronicles the epic battle between Los Angeles Police Chief William Parker and mobster Mickey Cohen. It is described as a fast-paced crime drama which is set in Los Angeles during the 1940s and '50s.

FOX is forced to bench the final judges' house episode of "The X Factor (US)" due to a rain delay in Game 3 of the National League Championship Series. The full two-hour episode, which will reveal 16 acts moving on to the live shows, is now scheduled to air on Tuesday, October 23.

On Wednesday, October 17, the baseball game which started in the afternoon was put on hold due to rain. When FOX got the words that the delay would last beyond primetime, the network began to air "X Factor" in East Coast markets at 8:40 P.M., only to cut it short when the network learned that the baseball game would resume.

I have had the great honor of serving as this foundation's chairman for the last five years and its mission and success are my top priorities." In it, Alex, the blond girl seen in previous promo videos, is seen braving the dark and going to her garage where she hears a strange noise. Disaster happens as she enters the garage and a creepy female appears in the living room and Alex suddenly gets locked from the outside.

"Paranormal Activity 4" is set in 2011, five years after Katie killed her boyfriend Micah, sister Kristi and her husband Daniel, as well as took away their baby Hunter (now named Robbie). The story focuses on Alex and her mom who experience weird stuff since the new neighbors (Katie and Robbie) moved in to town.

Warner Bros. Pictures has claimed a major victory on its fight to defend its rights to the Superman franchise. On Wednesday, October 17, a Los Angeles federal judge legally denied the effort taken by heirs of Superman co-creator Joseph Shuster to reclaim their 50% interest from the fabled Kryptonian superhero.

Judge Otis D. Wright II of Federal District Court ruled that a 1992 binding agreement between Shuster's sister Jean & brother Frank and DC Comics had prevented the siblings from attempting to terminate copyrights. In the agreement, Jean forfeited rights in return for Warners' settling of Frank's debts and payment of $25,000 a year for the rest of her life.

A judge found there is no racial discrimination case on ABC's reality show "The Bachelor". On Monday, October 15, U.S. District Judge Aleta Trauger dismissed a class action lawsuit filed by Nathaniel Claybrooks and Christopher Johnson who claimed the show would not take African American contestants.

Johnson and Claybrooks said they went for a casting call for the dating show in 2011 but they were treated differently than people of non-color. Some African American were selected to compete but eventually were eliminated early.

Paramount Takes 'Wolf of Wall Street' for Domestic Distribution

Martin Scorsese's "The Wolf of Wall Street" is now officially on the go since Paramount Pictures has signed up to be the distributor in North America, Deadline confirmed. For the studio, the movie starring Leonardo DiCaprio as Jordan Belfort could be their award-season ammo post the the pic's late 2013 release.

Financed by Red Granite, "Wolf of Wall Street" was first developed by Warner Bros. before the deals went down. The movie is being shot in New York using the script from Terry Winter of "Boardwalk Empire". Alexandra Milchan is executive producing the film while Scorsese, DiCaprio, Emma Koskoff Tillinger and Red Granite's Riza Aziz and Joey McFarland are producing.
