Katy Perry to Perform at Barack Obama Fundraising Concert

Katy Perry is going to lend her celebrity status to support Barack Obama campaign fundraiser. The "Firework" hitmaker is set to sing at the "30 Days to Victory Concert" which will take place at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles on October 7.

The 27-year-old, who voiced Smurfette in "The Smurfs" film, will be joined by other stars, who will be announced later, at the fundraising concert. Tickets will be on sale during the campaign, starting at $44 per person for supporters under age 40. General ticket is $250 per person.

In a clip for the first episode, Giuliana and Bill were joined by the surrogate named Delphine while talking with a hospital expert about what they would get through during the labor. The then-parents-to-be had a little argument about who should do what after the baby was born, before finally agreeing that Bill would cut the umbilical cord and Giuliana would get to hold the baby first.

Maroon 5 are up for a live performance in Nashville this coming December. The Adam Levine-fronted band have been chosen to take the stage at the Grammy Nominations Live!! concert, which serves as a platform to announce Grammy nominees from some major categories.

The Los Angeles-based pop rock band, who have won three Grammys, become the first act confirmed for the special event, which has tapped LL Cool J as the host. The show itself is moved to Tennessee from Los Angeles, where it took place for the past four years.

"Alice in Wonderland" will be brought to life on small screen. The CW has nabbed a new project titled "Wunderland" from "The Playboy Club" creator Chad Hodge that is aimed to be a contemporary reimagining of the famous tale.

The show will present the titular character as a young, modern-day police detective who discovers another world that exists beneath Los Angeles. Hodge pens the script and executive produces it with Peter Johnson.

Shooting the scene in Liverpool, which was transformed to look like Moscow, Knightley was spotted donning a sleeveless black dress. Some gun-wielding men were seen helding her captive before Pine arrived and fought them to free the lady.

It sees Firth as a long-suffering employee who often gets intimidated by his eccentric boss, played by Alan Rickman. Firth then plans to seek revenge on his boss by teaming up with cowgirl Diaz.

A remake of 1966 movie of the same name, "Gambit" follows Firth's Harry Dean who plans to steal a statue from one of the world's richest men. His plan, however, is missing one final component: the participation of a beautiful woman to act as his gambit.

DGA Changes Nominations Date to Avoid Clash With Oscars'

The AMPAS' key dates announcement for next year's Academy Awards has apparently affected the Directors Guild of America's schedule. Shortly after the Academy confirmed that it would reveal Oscar nominees on January 10, the DGA was forced to rearrange its feature film nominations date to avoid clash with the Oscars'.

A spokeswoman for the DGA told TheWrap on Tuesday, September 18 that the organization changed its nominations announcement schedule from January 10 to January 8. The action reportedly was taken so that the DGA event would not be buried by the publicity that would surround the Oscar nominations.
