'Grimm' 2.02 Preview: Protective Mother

Nick's mother (guest star Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio) will show what she's willing to do to protect her son in the next episode of "Grimm". As Catherine learns that Kelly is Nick's mother, the Hexenbiest quickly jumps to attack Kelly and the two ladies are involved in a fight.

In another point of the episode, Nick and his mother continue to battle the Mauvais Dentes (guest star Mike Dopud) with Mrs. Burkhardt questioning who sends the Bad Teeth. Meanwhile, Monroe and Rosalee race against the clock to save Juliette who is still in coma.

Lady GaGa Confuses PETA With 'Turncoat' Message

Lady GaGa comes under fire from PETA after she's spotted wearing what looked like real-fur outfits in several occasions. The Mother Monster once told Ellen DeGeneres that she would never wear fur because she hated it, but now she sends a message that confuses the animal-right organization.

PETA senior VP, Dan Mathews, pointed out three outfits GaGa wore; a Michael Kors fur she donned in London last year, a hot-pink Giorgio Armani fur coat she had last week, and a wolf carcass she rocked in the poster of her movie "Machete Kills". He questioned the singer, "What happened? Are your stylists telling you that it's fake, or are you a turncoat?"

Chad Ochocinco's Reality Show Canceled After Domestic Violence Arrest

In the wake of Chad Ochocinco's arrest for domestic battery case, VH1 has decided to drop his reality show "Ev and Ocho". The network tells TMZ, "Due to the unfortunate events over the weekend and the seriousness of the allegations, VH1 is pulling the series 'Ev and Ocho' from its schedule and has no current plans of airing it."

Eleven episodes of the show had been produced with the first episode originally planned to premiere on September 3. It chronicled Chad's engagement and eventual wedding to Evelyn Lozada, who stars on VH1's "Basketball Wives".

Nicolas Cage and Clint Eastwood Approached to Join 'Expendables 3'

"The Expendables" movie series may add more notable actors to its cast ensemble for the third movie. Producer Avi Lerner reveals that he's been in talks with the likes of Nicolas Cage, Clint Eastwood and Harrison Ford to cast them in a possible "Expendables 3".

"We've approached Clint Eastwood to be one of the guys, we've got a character in mind for him," Lerner tells Total Film. "We're talking to Harrison Ford. [And we want] Wesley Snipes when he comes back from prison. I'll give you one more name, we've got Nicolas Cage to play [one of the characters]."

"Glee" cast will deliver their own take on Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe". It has been confirmed that the show will feature a cover of the summer hit song with the New Directions kids taking the honor to sing it on the fourth season premiere.

Ang Lee's 'Life of Pi' Confirmed as New York Film Festival 2012 Opener

Before arriving in theaters Stateside on November 21, Ang Lee's "Life of Pi" is set to be screened at a prestigious event. On Monday, August 13, it was announced that the first 3D creation from the "Brokeback Mountain" helmer has been chosen to open the 50th Annual New York Film Festival on September 28.

"Life of Pi" would be Lee's second movie to screen at the festival after "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" served as the Closing Night Gala presentation twelve years ago. The screening would also mark the first time a feature film being presented in 3D format for NYFF's Opening Night Gala.

The production of "Iron Man 3" hasn't even been wrapped, but rumors surrounding the film's first trailer have already swirled on the Internet. It was Ain't It Cool News that claims to have obtained details of the first promotional footage of the armored hero movie. Still, the site notes that the description "might be mulled between now and the time material arrives on computer, television and theater screens."

According to the site, the trailer will [SPOILER ALERT!] open with Tony Stark gushing about how the events in New York (probably from "The Avengers") have changed him. He says that he's just not "into it" anymore. It then shows Iron Man lying down in the middle of rubble with battle damage and taking off his faceplate to reveal his bleeding face.

NBC's Coverage of London Olympics Posts Biggest Audience in U.S. History

NBC claims the 2012 London Olympics is now the most-watched television event in the U.S. history. Despite all criticisms regarding the network's decision to air key events on tape delay, more than 219 million people watched the network's coverage on TV.

The number surpassed the 215 million viewers who watched Beijing Olympics in 2008. The London Olympics also topped Beijing Olympics by 12% and the 2004 Athens Olympics by 26% in term of average viewers (3.1 million), making it the most-watched non-U.S. Summer Olympics since the 1976 Montreal Olympics.
