'The Possession' Unveils Very Creepy Motion Poster

Promoting the upcoming release of "The Possession", Lionsgate Films debuts a scary motion poster for the horror movie. The promotional one-sheet features shots of a girl dressed in a white frock walking while slowly being possessed by an evil power. She can be heard screaming and at one point there are insects bursting out from her mouth.

"The Possession" is a fictional retelling of Los Angeles Times writer Leslie Gornstein's article "Jinx in a Box" about an antique wooden box purchased on eBay which reportedly had been brought to America by a Holocaust survivor after World War II. The box, which supposedly contains an evil spirit, brought devastating effects to a series of buyers.

Pink Announces Lily Allen Collaboration on New Album

Pink continues to tease fans with details regarding her upcoming album, "The Truth About Love". This time, the pop star has revealed that the record features Lily Allen.

Speaking to Carson Daly on AMP Radio, she said that she had previously tried to get people to collaborate with her on past albums. "For the last 14 years, everyone has said no," she explained how difficult it was to get other artists on board with her in the past.

To the camera, the 27-year-old, who got the nickname "The Helicopter Guy" due to his grand entrance on "The Bachelorette", admits he wishes to have another girl beside his mother to share with.

Olympics 2012 Soundtrack Albums Get Release Date

The music recorded for this year's London Olympic Games' opening and closing ceremonies will be released digitally. Albums containing songs from the two ceremonies will be available online right after the events.

"Isles of Wonder: Music for the Opening Ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games" will be released on July 28. "A Symphony of British Music: Music for the Closing Ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games" will be available on August 12. Physical copies of "Isles of Wonder" will be made available on August 6.

"Beautiful Creatures" is based on the first of a five-novel series by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl. It revolves around high-school student Ethan Wate who meets and becomes bewitched by a girl named Lena.

John McCain and Other Senators to Appear on 'Parks and Recreation'

During its visit to Washington, "Parks and Recreation" has apparently arranged a meeting with some real-life political figures. The New York Times reported that three sitting senators, John McCain of Arizona, Barbara Boxer of California and Olympia J. Snowe of Maine, would guest star in an upcoming episode of the NBC comedy.

The three senators filmed a cocktail party scene with series regulars Amy Poehler and Adam Scott at the Hay-Adams hotel in Washington on Thursday, July 19, the same day the 2012 Emmy nominations were announced. McCain has posted on his Twitter a picture that captures him and Poehler on the set. "Had a great time shooting @ParksandRecNBC today w/ Amy Poehler - I think it's an Emmy!" so he wrote.

A new single was dropped by Snoop Dogg. The rapper released a reggae track under a new different name, Snoop Lion, with the title, "La La La". It's a cut from his upcoming record appropriately titled "Reincarnated".

The weekend box office report of "The Dark Knight Rises" won't be published, it has been confirmed. Following the headline-grabbing shooting tragedy during the midnight screening of the Batman film in Colorado, Warner Bros. Pictures has decided not to report the opening weekend gross of the movie.

Warners explains that the action is taken to respect the victims. In an official statement released Friday afternoon, July 20, the studio announces, "Out of respect for the victims and their families, Warner Bros. Pictures will not be reporting box office numbers for 'The Dark Knight Rises' throughout the weekend."

DirecTV Brings Back Viacom-Owned Channels After Settling Fee Dispute

DirecTV and Viacom have settled a dispute over fees after some intense negotiations. The two companies announced on Friday, July 20 that they have reached a new agreement, which mentions that DirecTV Group Inc. will pay about 20% more to carry Viacom-owned channels. The satellite broadcaster also stays on its decision not to carry the EPIX channel, which would cost about additional $500 million.

The dispute settlement ends the ten-day blackout that started on July 10 night. "We are very pleased to be able to restore the channels to our customers and thank them for their unprecedented patience and support," said Derek Chang, executive vice president of Content Strategy and Development for DirecTV.

Following a massacre that happened during the midnight screening of "The Dark Knight Rises" in Colorado, the security measures at movie theaters in New York and some other cities have been increased. The same action was also taken in European theaters to prevent same tragedy from happening again.

"As a precaution against copycats and to raise the comfort levels among movie patrons in the wake of the horrendous shooting in Colorado, the New York City Police Department is providing coverage at theaters where the 'The Dark Knight Rises' is playing in the five boroughs," Police Commissioner Ray Kelly said in a statement.

The Colorado shooting during "The Dark Knight Rises" midnight screening prompted the President, Warner Bros. studio and celebrities to express their thoughts. As many as 12 dead thus far and at least 38 injured after a 24-year-old man opened fire at a mall multiplex in Aurora on Friday, July 20 morning.

"This morning we woke up to news of a tragedy and reminds us of all the ways we are united as an American family," Barack Obama said during a campaign tour in Ft. Myers, Fla. "If there's anything to take away from this tragedy, life is fragile, time here is limited and precious.
