Jennifer Lopez and Enrique Iglesias are co-headlining a tour which kicked off on July 14, Saturday in Canada. The first gig of the roadshow was held at the Centre Bell stadium in Montreal.

J.Lo was the first to perform. She descended onto the stage as the screens parted to give way to her big entrance. The ex-"American Idol" judge was wearing a skin-tone cat suit that was embellished with rhinestones. Her outfit also included a large feather train and a white hat that is reminiscent of Buckingham Palace's guards.

Singer Mandy Moore has revealed that she will be working with her husband Ryan Adams for her new album. The new record will be a follow-up to "Amanda Leigh" which was released in 2009, the same year that the singers wed.

The former teeny-bopper has said, "I'm probably going to work with my husband on this album. I'm not sure necessarily in what capacity, but we've been writing a little bit together. He has a studio, so I definitely want to make my record there."

"The last conversation I had with him he was telling me about how he was getting married, and he was planning on some kind of exciting costume wedding in Las Vegas," the lawyer opened up to E! News. "He was up and positive about everything."

Comic-Con 2012: First Promo for 'Da Vinci's Demons' Says History Is a Lie

At the San Diego Comic-Con, Starz debuted the first teaser for its upcoming series "Da Vinci's Demons". It has no footage from the show, but features cryptic message which hints at the major plotline. "History is a lie that has been honed like a weapon by people who have suppressed the truth," a voiceover says. "Centuries from now your own history will also be suppressed."

Coming from David S. Goyer who co-wrote two upcoming superhero films "The Dark Knight Rises" and "Man of Steel", the new TV show revolves around Leonardo da Vinci who is tortured by a gift of superhuman genius. He finds himself in a conflict between truth and lies, religion and reason, past and future. Living in a world where thought and faith are controlled, he fights to set knowledge free.

Previous rumors that Legendary Pictures would bring Godzilla to Comic-Con have come true after all. On Saturday, July 14, around 6,500 fans were shocked when Legendary chief Thomas Tull introduced a surprisingly polished teaser trailer of Gareth Edwards' new version of "Godzilla".

The trailer opened with shots of a devastated city where there were train and cars heavily damaged. A voiceover from J. Robert Oppenheimer was heard quoting the "Now, I am become death" part of the Bhagavad Gita.

Aretha Franklin Wants to Judge 'American Idol' With Patti LaBelle

Aretha Franklin has offered herself to be a new judge on "American Idol", various news outlets reported. According to CNN and TMZ, the "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman" singer herself has confirmed it as she sent an email saying, "Yes, I am interested as a judge," in reply to a question about her possible involvement in the singing competition.

Claiming she has been a long fan of the popular talent show, the 70-year-old songstress has allegedly planned to bring along fellow singer Patti LaBelle as her sidekick. FOX, however, declined to comment on the matter.

Vampire Weekend Close Pitchfork Music Fest, Lady GaGa Watches Kendrick Lamar

The Pitchfork music festival ended its weekend run on Sunday, July 15. The closing act, Vampire Weekend, were joined by some other independent acts in the concert that was held in Chicago's Union Park.

Lady GaGa was spotted at the festival as well, but the Mother Monster was not a performer. The superstar stopped by to watch the set of rapper Kendrick Lamar. The Compton native has received bad reviews, including from WBEZ01.5, for his performance that reportedly consisted mostly of inappropriate language and samples and beats from already famous songs.

Previously auditioning for BBC's "Eurovision: Your Country Needs You" before she withdrew after a few episodes in 2009, the British singer made a brave move by leaving her home country and jetting off to New York. The decision proved to be right since it's during her stay in the Big Apple that she met Jay-Z, who later signed her to his company Roc Nation.

Facebook-Themed Viral Footage for Will Smith's 'After Earth'

After revealing its behind-the-scene footage at Comic-Con on Saturday, July 14, "After Earth" drops a viral video on its official website. The clip shows a story about alien researches throughout the history which are presented in form of Facebook timeline. The setting of the video itself takes place in around 2066.

Previously titled "1000 A.E.", "After Earth" is set 1.000 years into the future. It revolves around a young boy named Kitai who navigates an abandoned and sometimes scary Earth to save himself and his estranged father, General Cypher Raige, after their ship crashes. Will Smith and his real life son Jaden Smith tackle the roles of the father and son respectively.

Though it's already in the middle of production, J.J. Abrams' hotly anticipated "Star Trek" sequel remains untitled. One of the sequel's scribes, Damon Lindelof, recently opened up to MTV News that finding a perfect name for the upcoming sci-fier was not as easy as it might seem.

"There have been more conversations about what we're going to call it than went into actually shooting it at this point," Lindelof said. He said that the problem in finding a name for the sequel was that he couldn't simply use "Star Trek 2" as the title since there's already "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan".

Comic-Con 2012: 'Fringe' Season 5 Trailer Sees Sweet Reunion

Sunday, July 15 could be the last time "Fringe" cast came to San Diego Comic-Con to promote the show, which will have its final season aired this fall. Last Saturday, July 14, Zack Snyder's "Man of Steel" wowed the audience at Comic-Con with its first ever footage. A bootleg version of the video has landed online via Comic Book Movie, offering a look at some tear-jerking and dark-themed scenes in the anticipated Superman movie.

The footage screened at Hall H opened with shots of Clark Kent's chilhood in the Kents home in Kansas. Growing up as what seemed to be a fisherman, Clark started to show his superpower when he lifted up a school bus that plunged into a river.

Sage Stallone's Autopsy Completed, Cause of Death Still Unclear

"Sons of Anarchy" gang hit Comic-Con on Sunday, July 15. In front of thousands of fans packing in Hall H at San Diego Convention Center, it's announced that the fifth season of the show would premiere Tuesday, September 11 at 10/9c on FX.

A new sneak peek was played, showing Jax now taking the lead of SAMCRO, and Clay living alone in a new house and carrying around an oxygen tank. There's a gunfight scene that takes place in the night and a censored scene, which showrunner Kurt Sutter explained, "That was my wife [Katey Sagal's Gemma] getting f***ed from behind by [guest star] Jimmy Smits," who plays an ex-gangsta type who mentors Jax.

Bruce Springsteen and Paul McCartney's duet was cut short when concert promoters decided to pull the plug, literally. For going past its 10.30 P.M. curfew, the Hyde Park gig on Saturday, July 14 went silent at the very end just when the two stars appeared ready to launch into another number. The Boss was trying to talk to the audience without amplification.

"It was unfortunate that the three hour-plus performance by Bruce Springsteen was stopped right at the very end but the curfew is laid down by the authorities in the interest of the public's health and safety," concert promoter Live Nation said on its website. According to Guardian, a spokesman said a record 76,000 people had had "a fantastic time".
