Fans have to wait before Britney Spears drops a new album, but a never-before-heard song of the artist has surfaced online. Sharing the audio via SoundCloud was none other than Don Philip, who is featured in the track titled "Say What".

Philip, who was Spears' former collaborator, recently took part in "The X Factor (US)" auditions in Oakland, California. Before singing a cover of Beyonce Knowles' "Halo", he had a tearful reunion with the former Mouseketeer as saying, "I didn't think I would ever see you again."

Jennifer Hudson's Boston Fireworks Concert Halted Due to Bad Weather

"American Idol" alum Jennifer Hudson was the headliner of the Boston Fireworks Spectacular for the city's 39th annual Independence Day celebration. She sang some songs including "And I Am Telling You" and "Feeling Good" during the gig at the city's iconic Charles River Esplanade.

The concert was halted due to threat of storm, forcing the Boston Pops Orchestra to cut short their performance. The orchestra left the stage just before Hudson could perform for a second time. The 30-year-old Grammy winner had already finished her first number, "Love You I Do", when the evacuation happened.

While Americans were celebrating the Independence Day, Nicki Minaj was busy filming her new music video. The Young Money femcee was caught on camera throwing a carnival in her home country of Trinidad and Tobago on Wednesday, July 4 as she's shooting the visuals for her song "Pound the Alarm".

For the filming, the Harajuku Barbie rocked a red carnival costume while flaunting her legs in fishnet stockings. She was reportedly joined by some of Soca music's biggest stars, including Machel Montano, Fay-Ann Lyons and Bunji Garlin, when parading on the streets.

Titled "Dance With Somebody", the freshly released snippet focuses on Katy Perry's sister who always chose devoted fans who dressed in eye-catching outfits at Katy's concerts.

The lucky fans then received a special treat as they were allowed to join the pop sensation on stage. Many of the devotees got hysterical as the "Firework" hitmaker herself reached out to them and kindly gave them big hugs.

Adele and Gotye Top SoundScan's Mid-Year Sales Charts

The end of June means that half of the year is over. At this point, the biggest-selling album is Adele's "21", while the biggest-selling song is Gotye's "Somebody That I Used to Know" featuring Kimbra. The CD has sold 3.69 million, while the single has scanned 5.50 million, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Adele's album also achieved the same feat of being the top-selling record halfway through 2011. It eventually became the biggest-selling album of last year. Should "21" become this year's biggest selling album, it will be the first time a record tops SoundScan's year-end charts for two years in a row.

According to a source, producers of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" wanted the former star of "The Simple Life" to appear in the season 3 finale of the show, but she had to say "no" because she would be traveling overseas.

"Paris was asked to be a part of the finale which will take place in mid-July," a so-called insider told Radar Online. "She is a big fan of the show and totally supports her family appearing on it, but had to decline because she will be out of the country. Paris will be extremely busy promoting her new album, and just has too much going on right now to commit to taking on anymore projects."

Shooting multiple extreme violent scenes in Oliver Stone's "Savages" was not an easy job for some of its starry cast members. For Salma Hayek and Blake Lively, filming the brutal scenes was a quite tough challenge. Still, John Travolta and Taylor Kitsch gushed that they had fun doing it.

"You can't [prepare for the violence]," Hayek who plays the film's main antagonist Elena told MTV News. The actress admitted it was very difficult for her to act brutal as a villain, stating, "I'll be honest, it was very hard for me as a person to stomach it. "The Amazing Spider-Man" is off to a great start domestically. According to Sony Pictures Entertainment, the 3D movie's U.S. and Canadian box office broke a record for Tuesday opening by taking $35 million.

Previous Tuesday debut record was held by "Transformers" that opened on July 3, 2007 with $27.8 million. The autobot movie went on accumulating $146 million in its first six days in domestic theaters.
