'American Idol' Season 11 Announces 2012 Tour Dates

Soon after Ryan Seacrest confirmed 2012 "American Idol" tour on the April 26 result show, a bunch of dates booked for the upcoming roadshow were revealed. Featuring top 10 contestants on the eleventh season, the tour is going to kick off July 6 at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit.

Colton Dixon, DeAndre Brackensick, Elise Testone, Erika Van Pelt, Heejun Han, Hollie Cavanagh, Jessica Sanchez, Joshua Ledet, Phillip Phillips and Skylar Laine will stay on the road until September 11 when they wrap it up at Bradley Center in Milwaukee. All tickets will go on sale starting May 11.

'American Idol' Reject Elise Testone: I Don't Really Feel Judges' Advice Helpful

Elise Testone doesn't believe that the advice she received from the judges of "American Idol" help her in the competition. In fact, when met backstage after her elimination on Thursday, April 26 night, the 28-year-old honestly admitted to E! Online, "I'd like to say they were, but I don't really feel that. I'm sorry. I feel bad about that."

"It's different for me," she went on to explain. "I'm 28, so I'm young, but I've learned so much. Some of the things they say don't line up with what I feel I have learned on my own, so I don't think it was always helpful. I'm not meaning to sound like I'm the best. Sometimes it was helpful, but for the most part I don't think it always made sense and I think it's hard to judge someone in such a short amount of time in that situation."

'The Vampire Diaries' 3.21 Sneak Peek: Elena Attacked by Alaric

Alaric continues to act out his hatred towards vampires and those who are siding with them in the next episode of "The Vampire Diaries". The vampire hunter pays Elena a visit at school and tries to kill her by choking her on the hallway. Damon brings Bonnie who has a bloody neck to Stefan, while Klaus confronts the younger Salvatore, "You're asking me to walk into a certain death?"

In "Before Sunset" that airs May 3, Klaus acts on his intentions to leave town with Elena, but finds resistance from a surprising new enemy. Bonnie calls on Abby (guest star Persia White) to help her with a difficult spell, and she, along with Jeremy, takes a terrifying risk to make sure her spell is effective.

With "The Raven" getting closer to its release in the U.S. theaters, its lead actor John Cusack took some time to talk about having the opportunity to portray acclaimed macabre writer Edgar Allan Poe. Sharing to MTV News, Cusack said that bringing the charismatic character to life in the upcoming thriller is almost like activating an app on a phone.

Explaining how he entered the world of such a complex and mysterious man as Poe, the actor who recently received his own Hollywood Walk of Fame said, "It's like an app, right? Like on your phone." He joked, " 'Go to Darkness.' You press the Poe app."

On Thursday, April 26, the songstress fiancee of Eric Johnson (II) uploaded on her official website a nearly-two-minute video that highlights memorable moments from the special event.

Accompanied by the "I Can't Give You Anything but Love, Baby" song, the video gives a good sense of the atmosphere at the soiree. Footage of the very pregnant Jessica arriving at the party, mingling with family and friends, and unwrapping the presents with Eric by her side are also included. Among the famous guests seen are sister Ashlee Simpson and actress Jessica Alba.

'Dictator' Opening Scene Focuses on General Aladeen's Background Life

Paramount Pictures has revealed an opening scene of Sacha Baron Cohen's latest comedy film "The Dictator". The video highlights the background story of the zany Wadiya dictator Admiral General Aladeen from the time of his birth to his ascend to be the fictional nation's leader. It also compiles some footage from Barrack Obama's speech about condemning terrorists.

Slated for a May 16 release in the United States, "The Dictator" has Baron Cohen starring as a dictator who risked his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed. The film is reportedly inspired by the novel "Zabibah and the King" by the late Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein.

Lane Garrison Slapped With Misdemeanor Battery Charge

Lane Garrison couldn't escape charges after all. The 31-year-old actor, who got arrested on suspicion of domestic violence, has been charged on Thursday, April 26 with misdemeanor battery for allegedly roughing up his ex-girlfriend, Playboy Playmate Ashley Mattingly, last Saturday, April 21 during an altercation.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney, according to TMZ, filed the charges based on a surveillance video that seemingly shows Garrison slapping Mattingly in the face in the lobby of her Beverly Hills apartment. The former "Prison Break" star himself is being held without bail since Sunday, April 22 due to potential parole violation.

HBO to Premiere Documentary About George H.W. Bush This Summer

HBO is set to air a documentary about former president George Herbert Walker Bush this summer. The premium cable network announced on Thursday, April 26 that the documentary, which is called "41", will premiere in June with Jerry Weintraub tackling the producing duty.

Octomom Gets Fresh Paint Job for the Interior of Her Home

The southern California house Nadya Suleman shares with her 14 children is no longer disarray. Shortly after the Octomom made an appearance on ABC's "Good Morning America" to defend herself over complaint about the living conditions in the house, a new snapshot obtained by TMZ showed that the home interior has got a fresh paint job.

While holes can still be seen in the photo, the wall and door that were previously covered in graffiti have already been painted brown. Per the gossip site, the makeover was paid by DialAStar.com, where Nadya works along with several other celebrities. Donating its first month of profits, the company has cleaners patching up holes in the wall, painting the walls and fixing the doors.

Don Omar and Prince Royce took home the most gongs with a total of eight each, while Shakira grabbed four prizes. Other artists who got multiple kudos included Mana with five, as well as Wisin & Yandel and Lucenzo with three each.

Out of those winners, it was Prince who brought home the top honor, Artist of the Year, after a fierce battle against Romeo Santos, Mana and Shakira. New Artist of the Year, meanwhile, went to Mexican band La Adictiva Banda San Jose de Mesillas after they beat Calibre 50, Il Volo and Violento.

'Fringe' Gets Renewal, Releases Promo for Fifth and Final Season

"Fringe" becomes the latest TV series picked up by FOX for a renewal. The sci-fi show will come back for its fifth and final season with 13 concluding episodes lined up to be made, bringing its total episode order to 100. Shortly after the renewal is announced, a promo for the upcoming season is unleashed.

"Fringe" follows an FBI team who use unorthodox "fringe" science and investigative techniques to investigate a series of unexplained, often ghastly occurrences. It averages 4 million viewers and a 1.6 rating in the adult demo. Since premiering in 2008, it has fought off cancellation almost every season due to its modest ratings.

The actress, who was recently booked to play Elizabeth Taylor on Lifetime's "Liz & Dick", was tapped to appear on the FOX musical series as one of the celebrity judges on Nationals along with "Entourage" star Rex Lee and celebrity blogger Perez Hilton. The outing is scheduled to air Tuesday, May 15 for two hours.
