Nigel Barker on 'America's Next Top Model' Shakeup: I Don't Think It's a Good Idea

According to Nigel Barker, "America's Next Top Model" might have made a mistake by firing him and two other longtime co-stars. Commenting on The CW's decision not to renew his contract, the former model said, "I don't necessarily think it's a good idea."

The English photographer, who had been a judge on the show since the first season, believed he got the boot because the network wants to completely revamp the show, but he doubts that this strategy will work. "Who knows if this is going to work?" he told TMZ. "Maybe it will work. Maybe it won't. I wish them luck."

Willie Nelson Honored With Bronze Statue of Himself on 4/20

April 20 has become an even more special day for Willie Nelson. On the day long reserved to celebrate marijuana use, the Country Music Hall of Famer made an appearance in downtown Austin, Texas to help unveil an eight-foot bronze statue of himself, which was made by Philadelphia sculptor Clete Shields.

The unveiling ceremony took place in front of the Moody Theater, where the Austin City Limits Studio is now located. In front of about 2,000 people, Austin Mayor Lee Leffingwell praised Nelson as "the man who really, more than I think any other person, made the city of Austin, Texas, the live music capital of the world."

Jason Segel's 'Five-Year Engagement' Debuts Raunchy Red Band Trailer

Just a week before arriving in the U.S. theaters, "The Five-Year Engagement" has unleashed a red band trailer via Funny or Die. The video is filled with raunchy humors, including the one that sees Jason Segel "faking orgasm" when making love with Emily Blunt. At one point, Segel is also featured making fun of a flower's name which sounds like "penis".

In "Five-Year Engagement", Segel and Blunt play Tom Solomon and Violet Barnes respectively. The two are engaged couple who are forced to delay their wedding due to unexpected events like job offers, promotions and cross-country moves. What started as a two-year job offer turns to four, and before they know it, they have stayed engaged for five years.

One Direction Radio Ban Continues Following Speech Blunder at BRIT Awards

It's been two months since One Direction made a speech blunder at BRIT Awards, but they are still not getting any airplay from Capital FM and Heart FM. Last February, the boyband angered people at the two radio stations after Harry Styles mistakenly thanked BBC Radio 1 for their Best British Single win instead of crediting Capital and Heart listeners who voted for them.

After learning about the mistake, they quickly issued an apology, "One Direction forgot to thank the Capital Radio listeners last night when picking up their BRIT Award for Best British Single. This was an oversight as the boys were caught up in the excitement of winning. The band would like take this opportunity to thank Capital Radio and all their listeners for their support and for voting for them."

As April 22 comes fast approaching, the "Can't Fight the Moonlight" hitmaker made use of her Twitter account to reveal that she's been reminiscing about the big day and couldn't hide her delight over the photos taken.

In a tweet to her wedding photographer Joe Buissink, the 29-year-old songstress wrote on Friday, April 20, "a year ago this weekend was do perfect! Looking at pics now. You are a genius!!!" After receiving the compliment, Buissink wrote in reply, "Thank you!! It was easy.. Just had to look n feel. It was natural n honest. My honor!!"

'Glee' Nationals Event Gets Super-Sized Episode

"Glee" gets a super-sized episode for its next Nationals event. TVLine reports that FOX will combine the 20th and 21st installments of the drama musical series into one, which will air for two hours on Tuesday, May 15.

In the first of the two hours, Tina suffers a mild head injury and begins to experience an alternate reality while the New Directions are planning for the annual competition. This plot explains recent set photos which see Mark Salling's Puck channeling Blaine, Cory Monteith's Finn dressing like Kurt, and Jenna Ushkowitz's Tina playing Rachel.

Colton Dixon has already had a vision on what kind of album he plans to record for a future project. In a first interview after his elimination from "American Idol" last Thursday, April 19, the latest outcast spills, "I definitely want to do Christian music."

Although it's something he desires to do, Colton won't limit himself on that music genre. "I hope that I get to, but right now, I'm going to write as much as I can and see what comes out," he explains. "And then whatever the product is of that will be where I'm placed as far as the genre of music."

Mariska Hargitay Inks New Deal to Stay on 'Law and Order: SVU'

Mariska Hargitay has signed a new contract with Universal Television which produces her long-running show "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit". Under the new deal, she will return as Detective Olivia Benson if the show returns for a 14th season, and makes a reported $500,000 per episode.

Though so, sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that it does not necessarily mean the procedural series has secured a new season order. NBC is yet to announce the status of the drama series, which hit a series low (4.4 million viewers and a 1.5 rating in 18-49 demo) with its latest episode.

In the picture, the former Spice Girls member is strapped into a stewardess seat as she pretends to make some in-flight announcements. After landing a role as ambitious Peter Weyland in "Prometheus", Guy Pearce is one step closer to tackle another villainous character in "Iron Man 3". Variety has learned that the "Lockout" actor is finalizing a deal to star as geneticist Aldrich Killian in the upcoming armored hero movie.

In the Marvel comic books, Killian is described as a co-creator of the Extremis technology, which Iron Man adopts after Killian sells the technology to a terrorist. It has been speculated that Ben Kingsley is the one who will play the terrorist involved in spreading a virus through nanobots.

Matthew Perry is set to return to NBC with a new comedy project. His pilot "Go On", which comes from former "Friends" writer/producer Scott Silveri, has been picked up to series by the Peacock.

On the single-camera project, the star of the short-lived ABC sitcom "Mr. Sunshine" will play a charming sportscaster who attends therapy in an attempt to move on from a loss. Julie White, who is known for playing Sam Witwicky's mother in "Transformers" film series, is cast as Anne, an angry widow whom Perry meets in his support group.

There won't be a funeral for TV icon Dick Clark. Just two days after the former "New Year's Rockin' Eve" host died of a massive heart attack in Santa Monica, California, words came out that his remains have been cremated. His publicist Paul Shefrin confirmed the news to the press on Friday, April 20.

The confirmation came shortly after Entertainment Tonight brought out the report suggesting that Clark's ashes will be scattered over the Pacific Ocean. Of the claim, Shefrin said that "the family has not decided" what to do with the star's ashes. He further added that "no plans have been finalized" and that plans for a memorial service are "still being discussed."

Jimmy Fallon will welcome a VIP to his late night show next week. The President of United States, Barack Obama, is scheduled to visit "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" on Tuesday, April 24, but not inside the studio.

LMFAO's RedFoo Smiled Despite Served With $7 Million Lawsuit

LMFAO were slapped with a $7 million lawsuit filed by their former management company. The papers were delivered to member DJ RedFoo just before the band were due to take the "American Idol" stage on Thursday, April 19 night.

The Los Angeles-based management company, reportedly called Rpm Grp, claimed Stefan Kendal Gordy aka RedFoo and Skyler Austen Gordy aka SkyBlu were their artists in 2008. They helped the duo launched their career "from 0 to 60" but got ditched once the band became successful.
